I went in today for some late lunch with my brother and off the bat the service was impeccable. Though the restaurant was packed and pretty busy, we were seated within a minute of us checking in. The music taste was also pretty nice. It wasn't overly harsh or loud but definitely something my brother and I noticed. Our server Reena graciously walked us through the menu as it was our first time at the establishment. She gave us some recommendations and provided excellent hospitality. Not only did the food taste amazing, but the service is what will keep me coming back. This was my first time having A5 Wagyu and the taste was impeccable. Reena was very diligent in checking in on us, making sure we were comfortable and well-taken cared of. She treated us as if I was a regular and someone she already knew, rather than just another customer. I think my favorite dish had to be the wagyu bone marrow because I ended up ordering it 3 times. The milk tea station was also a very nice surprise. While this meal was more on the premium end of things, this lunch trip was more than worth it. Thanks again to Reena for her amazing service. 10/10!

Finally made it to Mikiya for our first anniversary after passing by so many times--and wow, totally worth the wait! We went for the all-you-can-eat Diamond, and it was hands down one of the best meals we've had this year. The A5 wagyu paired perfectly with Dassai, and my wife couldn't stop ordering the amaebi. Huge shoutout to Thomas-- I would like to nominate him if there's a best server award this year! He made the whole experience extra special. Highly recommend!

Went here last weekend at 1:30 pm and we were able to get seated right away. Parking was a bit tough though so we had to park a little further away and walk. Their parking lot is definitely challenging with how tight it is and how little parking is available but it is in a larger plaza. Kids under 100cm are free. It was our first time so we went with the platinum, which provides access to the most number of items and were unlimited, which is mostly what we ate from. They have a choice of 4 different broths and you can choose up to 2 and we went for the traditional and the sweet (sukiyaki) but they also had a spicy and miso one. Would definitely like to try the other two at some point. They have a membership available but if you are t going to eat here at least 3 times a year, don't think it's worth it and you can just pay a bit more for the non-member price. There is a bar section with fresh veggies and noodles and a station with rice and a few extras such as veggie curry, pasteurized eggs (recommended if you do sukiyaki broth), and some other type of stew like thing that I couldn't figure out. Around the corner is a fruit bar and a drink section with your choice of coke products, freshly squeezed orange juice through a juicing machine, milk tea, and calpico. They have hot tea available as well on another counter that you can easily miss. Your time limit is 90 minutes so I'd recommend loading up on the orders while you can. I don't think they set a limit on how much you can order each time but you only have limited space on the table so good to keep that in mind. We were craving seafood so ordered the seafood platter, fish amaebi (sweet shrimp) as well as bone marrow with toast (not bad but a bit rich), as well as wagyu nigiri and the 3 specialty cuts of wagyu. Each plate of wagyu had 4 slices of meat each so you go through it pretty quick. We had about 8 plates of it so decent value for just the wagyu. It is AYCE so come with a big appetite and avoid fillers like the rice and noodles as well as the drinks.

Came here with some coworkers at my coworker's recommendation. For the price, this place is definitely a splurge. We had a reservation and got seated right away. We took a little bit longer to decide what we wanted to order as we were busy chatting and catching up. I highly DO NOT recommend coming here if you are a slow eater and want a leisurely meal. We were chatting and catching up on work when 90 mins was over in a snap! We definitely did not get our monies worth in the short time. Service was not that great as well. I'm not sure when the 90 min timer starts. When you get seated? When you order? Or when you get your food? However, although we still had quite a bit of food on our table we were working on eating, the server and manager were kicking us out. We weren't ordering anything else but we're trying to still eat what we had on the table. So instead of letting us finish, they rather throw out the food and tell us to leave. I'd understand if there was a long wait but there was npt a single body waiting. Mostly likely will not be returning

Now that the weather is getting cooler we were craving something warm. My friend remembered spotting this place when he was at Kaiser and we love Shabu so we decided to give it a try. We made a reservation at 5:15. There was only maybe 4 other groups sat at the time. We went with the gold package and chose the spicy miso and house broth. They start bringing out the food and we noticed we were getting more than what we ordered. There was hardly enough food on the table! I checked the menu and saw they were bringing us things that would be included on the diamond package. I told our server and they took back the extra items. I asked one of the staff how long we should cook the seafood for and she didn't know and had to ask our server. Benefit of the doubt she's probably new. Would like to say our server, Derek, was great. He answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed It started getting really busy for a Wednesday night. It felt like you were constantly maneuvering to avoid people. Also they play Kpop music which is fine but it's really fast and upbeat I don't think it was appropriate for dinner. Just a bit overstimulating They have a side bar area where you can get sauces, drinks, sides for broth and fruit. They had a decent amount of things. They even had a calpico, milk tea and fresh squeezed orange juice machine. I got the orange juice and it was sour. I think the oranges weren't sweet enough. Overall the food was good but not good enough to go back

Was a fun experience visiting this place! We just opted for the silver wagyu set... and I thoroughly enjoyed the meat, just melted it your mouth. I enjoyed the seafood platter as well, presentation was nice. Total plus that they had unlimited milk tea.

I finally get the hype when this place opened. It took me a year to try the place and realized that I was missing out all this time. Premium beef, tasty soup base, good sides, drinks and dessert. The $50++ is totally worth it per person. Tried the Silver Package first and got to try 5 cuts of beef, a platter of seafood, the appetizer, and more. The Shoyu soup base is definitely a winner. They have a sauce bar, with some appetizers too, including rice and Japanese Curry. For the drinks, they have sodas and milk teas. They also have soft serve ice cream for dessert. The service is fast. Our server explained to us well the process and the menu. The ambiance is pretty festive. They have black and wood as the general color theme, with yellow lights. They have annual membership for $28 which can get you discounts. Can't wait to go back for another round of good meat, soup, and everything else!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Dining at Mikiya was truly a culinary feast. I could taste the freshness in every ingredient, from the thin slices of Japanese A5 wagyu brisket, to the beautiful display of seafood on ice. We ended up ordering the Gold Wagyu Set, and it was the perfect amount for us. Out of the specialty dishes, my favorite was the bone marrow which was fatty and rich with cubes of wagyu on top. The tartare tasted clean, but could have used more seasoning. The absolute highlight for me was the seafood platter. I hadn't had fresh abalone before, and it had a real nice meaty texture. The snow crab came easily out of the shell, and wasn't watery at all. While each person only got one order of Japanese ribeye and shoulder, the other options were just as delicious. We ordered so many portions of Australian ribeye and Japanese brisket. The sides at the self serve bars were just as spectacular; with fresh greens, Japanese curry, and really tasty cold dishes. I was obsessed with the takowasa, tiny pieces of sliced raw octopus in a tangy horseradish sauce. Finished the meal off with the necessary sweet treat of Thai tea and vanilla soft serve swirl.

This is a high and consistent quality Wagyu hotpot place. The menu simple with three tiers, silver, gold and diamond, also it has two different prices for members and non-members. Usually we go there with reservation, and it will always send you confirmation text message. (Definitely come with reservations) . Besides yummy Wagyu selections, the silver level also get one free appetizer each person, and one seafood combo -- love abalone, shrimp, scallop and oysters, however the crab is disappointing, salty and old. Meanwhile, on the free choice counter there are food collection of vegetables and tofu products. The most impressive part is the fresh squeezed orange juice, milk tea.... Great choice on drinks. Also kids love the strawberry ice cream , and I enjoyed the matcha one more. Sometime there is also small gift for the kids, which really made them happy. Restaurant located in the plaza, plenty parking maybe not always in front of the restaurant. Inside dimmed light with indoor and outdoor seatings. And modern and simple , mixed with Asian and western elements. The review finally finished after three visits, and also this time the food convinced me to be one of the members. Definitely recommended for friends gathering, family special celebrations, especially you are meat lover. The price on the high side , if you can eat a lot, the price is very reasonable. Five star for my overall three visits experience.
