Pho Van is located in a commercial area with not much surrounding it. Just beware there's limited parking outside the restaurant and uneven pavement. We were able to get seated right away for a Sunday lunch but for a party of six. The ambiance felt very homey and had lots of seating. But for a party of six, we didn't receive our food until thirty minutes :(I ordered the special beef noodle pho. The meat to noodle portions was great but the noodles were way too soggy for my taste.

The food quality more than decent. I ordered the item number 1 house special pho and the variety of meats are loaded. The meats and the misc condiments (veggies and so forth) taste freshly prepared. I also believe the beef broth is freshly prepared for the day so kudos there. The service wise there isn't much to talk about. It looks like a family shop and there are plenty of seating inside. The neighborhood itself is a bit shady (car mechanic shops and totalled cars all over) but should be safe still during the day. Not much parking however.

18$ for a bowl of soup Quality was ok Noodles were a little soggy Size was very small Not filling at all but very tasty Service was meh "it's a hole in the wall I don't expect 5 star service" I just think for almost 20$ for a little bowl of soup is very greedy. I do want to mention that they did not request a tip when I paid and I loved that! That's why it's a 2 star other wise would have been 1

The number 18 Van Special I had was great. Loved all the different options that came in it and the broth tasted great. I am definitely ordering this again. A No thrills restaurant that is a classic hole in the wall. Parking here stinks! So that is the only negative. But, it's all about the food and the food is really good, at least the dish I had was. The menu prices all look very reasonable. The service we had was very good and the food came out quick. I will comeback for sure.

Total hole in the wall with terrible parking. They use pork belly for the pork, which is very nice a flavorful. Not the best I have ever had, but definitely not the worst. I did experience an MSG hangover off of it though. My coworker drank about 4 bottles of water after this, so it wasn't just me. It's an ok place. It is authentic and worth a try. I'd probably order the Pho dry next time.

This is an unassuming restaurant located in an industrial area parallel to 101. No frills, but the food is good with quality ingredients. I would recommend it.

Horrible! First time I ordered their BBQ pork chop and it looked pale, tasted bland and was not good at all. I gave it another shot and ordered their pork ribs and it tasted like ammonia! Horrible! Never again!!

First time trying this place and it was a good experience! The location of the place is not that great and it's a bit hidden but the food and service was wonderful. The ambiance felt like an authentic Vietnamese restaurant and comfortable. The cubed steak with tomatoes rice was delicious. The steak was cooked nicely and the veggies along with the tomatoes rice is a good combination. My favorite was the crispy noodle chow fun. First time trying crispy noodle and now I am obsessed. It is crunchy and flavorful and the chow fun sauce mixed well with the veggies and chicken.

Your stereotypical hole in the wall. Location: Located in kind of a hidden area, Pho Van is a small garage looking restaurant with very limited parking. Their also is not a lot of air circulating in the restaurant itself, so on hot days it does get pretty warm. They also have one unisex bathroom in their restaurant. Food: It is not the best pho I have had in the area but the broth is pretty good. They are on the cheaper side and the portions are pretty big. You are not able to make a lot of accommodations for your food so pretty much how it is listed on the menu is how it is. Service: The workers here are very attentive and the food comes out very fast. They take card which is also nice as well! Overall, I would say if you are looking for a cheap place and are in the area, this is a good option.

One of the better vietnamese restaurants in the area. I've tried so many different entrees here and I love majority of them. The Cubed Steak with tomato rice takes the cake over all else though. It's so insanely good. Do yourself a favor and order double meat on all of the entrees. Yes they may be delicious but no there is not that much protein to go with the rice lolol. The service is great, it's this sweet lady that is always working whenever I go for lunch. It got to the point that she knew me and my buddies order by memory lolol. I then started switching it up so she had no idea. Had to keep her on her toes ya know? Restaurant isn't that big and it can get pretty busy during lunch so make sure you arrive early. Don't forget to snatch up some of the 50 cent cookies on your way out. Absolutely love Pho Van
