Omg so good! Attended a wedding years ago and the newlyweds had Rockos come out for their reception! The tacos are freshly made and perfect size! Great flavors to pair or customize. I enjoyed it so much I have made the drive to their shop to get more. Parking can be a bit tough at certain times. You order on the kiosk and wait for your order. It's fun to watch them make it. Definitely a fan of Rockos!

Despite taking the idea from Choco Taco, it was exhilarating to discover that this spot exists. Woefully, they have failed with the execution. "The Buttercup" ice cream taco ($7 for regular size): this is a classic case of food that looks better than it tastes (see pics below), 2/5 stars. Also, the ingredients sound tasty as it includes peanut butter and caramel ice cream that is then dipped in milk chocolate, and topped with pretzels. The ice cream was more icy than creamy and it only tasted like vanilla without any hint of peanutbutter or caramel. The taco shell (ice cream cone) was rigid, bland, and was also icy from the liquid nitrogen. The service was interesting as you can watch the staff while they assemble the ice cream tacos. Unfortunately, the show was more compelling than the icy tacos.

I heard about this place from another Yelper and she said this is her go to dessert place. I can see why. Food + DIY Taco with banana crème, white chocolate dip, and honeycombs. You won't go wrong because the banana is so refreshing and creamy. Maybe you can also go with milk chocolate. Honeycombs were bursting with sweet/savoriness. (5 stars) + Kids scoop are $4 and perfectly portioned for your little ones. (4 stars) Service + You order from a single kiosk machine. You can ask for samples but they won't take your order. (4 stars) Ambiance + It's a very college vibe since it's so close to Santa Clara University. + I went at 9pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded.

Yummy ice cream tacos. The tiny taco size is perfect for me. I've only made my own. Last time had a honey lavender ice cream dipped in milk chocolate with honeycomb. The first time I had a mint chip ice cream dipped in milk chocolate with salted pretzels. Both were delicious. The service is pretty fast. You order on an iPad. The slowest part is waiting for other people to decide what they want to order. Four stars because my last taco was cross contaminated with something with nuts. I'm pretty allergic. I couldn't see what kind of nut was on my taco but I could definitely feel it and took Benadryl to avoid a trip to the ER. There is a sign that says to let them know of allergies but cross contamination should always be a priority whether you know someone has an allergy or not when preparing food. I'll let them know next time.

I tried the Grimm Reaper ice cream taco. It was a fun, gimmicky twist on ice cream. The waffle-like taco shell was filled with chocolate ice cream, dipped in chocolate, and topped with crunchy chocolate bits. It looked great and was definitely instagram worthy lol. The shop is cute, staff were friendly, and there was no crowd even on a Sunday afternoon. Took about 10 minutes for my order, and there's plenty of street parking around. That said, the portion felt small for the price, so it didn't feel like great value. Cool to try once for the novelty, but probably wouldn't come back.

The coockie dough sando is huge. The cookie dough has little taste but the topping made it good. I recommend the honey comb topping. Order at the iPad They make it custom or there are recommended combos Some indoor seating - no outdoor seating. I do like that I don't have to talk to anyone. Recommend to go once for a summer treat.

Choco tacos was one of my favorite ice creams growing up, so when I found out about Rocko's Tacos, I knew I had to check it out. I've been here several times now, and it always hits the spot. I try a different flavor each time, but always have my ice cream taco dipped in dark chocolate and crushed almonds. There's usually little to no line, and they are very quick. I also had them catered for a birthday party recently, and it was a big hit! They have an option for prepackaged ice cream in a dry ice cooler or you can rent a cart and someone will make the ice cream at the event.

The ice cream taco was good but namely for the novelty. As ice cream, it's texture pales in comparison to the titans of Bay Area ice cream. Great for snacking if you're in the area but don't make a pilgrimage for it. The service is prompt but you'll have trouble finding parking in the area. Great for a little date, it's clean but there's not a lot of seating. It's fairly sweet as well, so I would just share my taco.
