Decent sushi bar. Service was a bit slow considering I had gone for takeout at 5 pm so no other patrons were there. I liked the fact that they had a seperate vegetarian menu. I got the sweet tempura roll, pickled tofu roll and the avo,mushroom,cuc roll. The tofu one was my favorite. While the sushi was good, it was predominantly a thick layer of rice with very little filling inside. I would have preferred it reversed. The pickled ginger given was a bit dry and wasabi not very strong. Prices were affordable.

I ordered some items at Truya Sushi in Santa Clara. I placed orders via Uber Eats and Door Dash, both for pickup. They have a large variety of items as well as Sushi classes, catering, delivery ect. We went to pick up Friday around 5:30pm and the place was mostly empty. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and there was no problem finding parking. The items were ready for us, the woman checked our receipt, handed us the items and left. It could be a language barrier. The place has plenty of seating and nice and quiet with a Sushii bar as well. When we went home and unpacked the items, I noticed something missing. We ordered mussels and on both sites - Uber and Door Dash, it showed 6 pieces but what was packed for is was only 5 pieces. When I called to ask about it, I was told that they no longer provide 6 pieces just 5, they are trying to keep costs low. But the pictures on the ordering sites show 6 pieces and he said that he would make sure that the pictures are updated! The food was good but not exceptional. They are competitively priced. It was overall an OK experience.

Always a great time, food always delicious a the absolute best quality around. Out of Many options of sushi' in Santa Clara, by far Truya has it all. Always the best service, a welcoming environment. An amazing place to watch some sports have a nice drink an enjoy delicious and quality food.

We came here on a Sunday night to get sushi and whie dup bap (how it's spelled on their menu). I was looking specifically for this type of sushi donburi that has salad and spicy Korean sauce (gochujang). Not all sushi restaurant will offer this and I thought this one definitely one of the better tasting ones. It was a deal for getting a large plate with rice, salad and sashimi. I like adding a lot of gochujang before mixing it all together. The garlic and fresh jalapeños gave it a nice kick. Overall, both me and my husband really enjoyed this. We'll definitely come back for hwe dup bap. It was our first time here and it's a good spot if you want to watch a sports game since there are TVs you can watch them on. Parking is very limited so it may be hard to find a parking spot. I didn't get to try any sushi rolls but I'm definitely coming back to try more.

I have been a regular to Truya sushi for lunch. One of my favorite items is their bento box. The service is fast and the ambiance is good enough for small groups.

Came here with my friend for sushi following a workout at the nearby 24 hr fitness. I ordered the two option bento box. The salmon teriyaki was delicious and I really enjoyed the sushi part as well. A miso soup was promised as part of the bento box but that didn't come. Our waitress may have just forgotten and by then I was full so I didn't need it after all haha. This is definitely a hole in the wall. We came late at night and they seated us immediately. They have parking out front and also in the back (but the back is pretty dark) and there were some people hanging out along the alley so I'd avoid. Great food and good service. Don't judge a book by its cover I'd say!

we arrived on a Sunday evening around 630, there was only one table with customers, we were thinking of noes. but we sat down anyway and the food actually amazed us, salmon was one of the freshest ones I had in many years, I was not expected such high quality in looks like a tucked away place like this. throughout the hour there was a lot of delivery pickups so they seem busy. for the price $55 the sashimi combo is a good value

We always love ordering here. Tiny spot but its amazing. The managers are always super friendly and welcoming. we usually order big orders for our office and they accomodate us for early pick up! Food is always fresh and good!
