Tried several of their desserts and was pleasantly surprised by a few. * Almond croissant: 7.5/10 - classic, flaky, and buttery. * Cheesecakes: Lilikoi, strawberry, blueberry - 6.6/10. All good, but the sauce-to-cheesecake ratio was a bit off, so they felt a little heavy. Not mind-blowing on their own. * Chocolate roll: 7.8/10 - surprisingly flavorful! Looked simple but tasted like a rich chocolate cake, kind of like Paris Baguette. Definitely a standout. * Avocado mousse cake: 7.3/10 - yummy, many layers, though not super flavorful. * Strawberry layered mousse cake: Didn't try yet. I didn't try the brunch menu, mostly just the pastries/desserts. Service was great and fast! I would recommend.

Discovered this coffee shop and bakery at a recent event I attended (Hayward Night Market) where I tried a yummy savory treat from their food stand. This past Sunday, just a week later, I visited the Santa Clara cafe and had a positive experience once again. Loved the bright and modern space with unique light fixtures hanging from the ceiling and a variety of comfy seating options for guests (both indoor and outdoor tables available). Service at the front counter was friendly and efficient. There were no labels in the display case so I had to ask about some of the items, and the employee was patient and professional in answering my questions. I ended up ordering an iced mocha, ham and cheese croissant, and banana walnut muffin. The iced mocha was sweet and smooth, the croissant was flaky and served at room temp directly from the display case, and the banana nut muffin was moist and full of flavor. What's more, I appreciated the free wifi and easy parking right outside the entrance, adding to the convenience of paying a visit.

I came here to do some light studying, and I loved it! It was spacious with great natural lighting, and it usually doesn't get too crowded in the mornings. The coffee was a solid 3/5! The Tiramisu latte was sweet, and the lavender latte was yummy, nothing crazy but definitely something I would order again. I also love their pastries especially the Almond croissant!

Went to What Coffee in Santa Clara and had such a great experience! I ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot, a caramel latte for my husband, and a pistachio cream donut. The coffee was excellent -- my vanilla latte was smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced, while the caramel latte had just the right touch of sweetness. The pistachio cream donut was the star: fluffy, airy, and light without being overly sweet. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, a lovely spot to sit and relax. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Definitely a place I'll be returning to!

I experienced what coffee at the rose garden farmers market. Fruit tart was flaky and delicious. The custard was so creamy. The blueberry mini cheesecake blew us away .we fought over finishing it and saving some for my husband. Wow. Absolutely perfection - perfect creamy texture and just the right sweetness. Small but mighty.

Nothing really special to write home about this place. Pastries were atypical and could get at another bakery. I ordered a vanilla latte and the worker had to ask me as she almost done making my drink what flavoring i got. Can get a better latte anywhere else honestly, tasted kind of watery. Decent amount of seating for individuals but not an ideal spot for group of people.

Lesson here in what not to do. So one afternoon I pass by a WhatCoffee stand during a Main St Cupertino street festival and figure it's a great opportunity to try their croissants and bring back home to share with family. I look at the goods and overhear the guy saying to someone else that the prices are $6-$7 per croissant. Then I come back later and order an almond croissant and a pistachio one and the price is $18.53. What!!?? As I'm doing mental math later, I'm thinking that there's no way that the final amount makes sense. Then I replay the sequence in my mind. Before the guy hands me the card scan device he's taking an oddly long time to type all sorts of keystrokes in, and then when he hands the device to me, there's just a final amount with NO itemization. I figure he inputted a fat tip to himself *without* asking me. Gotta be street smart next time. Granted it's just a few bucks but it's shady nonetheless. The croissants themselves were good and came in a very cute orange box. So credit to the bakers and designers here. I thought about going back and asking the guy for an extra pastry for free (since they had plenty of inventory) but I was too busy and had to get to my next destination. Oh well, live and learn.

I picked up some pastries from their stall at the farmer's market - a pistachio croissant and a personal sized mango cheesecake (about the size of my palm). There was a huge line so I was excited. Who could've guessed two pastries would've come out to $20? There were no prices listed either at the stall and sure I could've asked, but there was a line and I didn't want to hold it up. I thought to myself, these better be good for $20! I was really pleased with the pistachio croissant. It was flaky and the pistachio filling was delicious and not too sweet. The mango cheesecake on the other hand... it was inedible. I'm not sure if I'm just not a fan of whatever they use for the base, but the base was black and appeared to be burnt. I tried to avoid eating the base, but I could taste it even about halfway up. It was straight up bitter and bad. Overall, I was disappointed. Sure, the pistachio croissant was great, but the $20 price point and bad cheesecake was enough to keep me from returning.

I saw someone say this place sells pistachio croissants and I knew I had to bust a mission to check this out myself. The pistachio croissant was so flaky and airy, filled with delicious pistachio cream and a pistachio crust. 10/10. They have a lot of options in their bakery case, you're bound to find something you like. My croissant did cost $8 after tax but it was a treat myself type of day. I didn't try any drinks during my visit, but I will next time. Service was polite and friendly, their bathrooms are super clean and there's indoor and outdoor seating available.

The cappuccino here is phenomenal as is the service and ambience. I love the cup it's served in. Also, I have tried a few croissants here - pistachio, almond and other specialty ones - never disappoints.
