Overall 3.8 stars Ambiance- beautiful dinning room and very upscale. We went on a Monday night and it was not crowded. Because it is situated in a hotel, there seems to be a lot of hotel guests eating alone. Usually that's not an issue but we were all dressed up for the night to be there on a date. But they sat a hotel guest next to us (even though there were plenty of other opened tables) and he was on his computer most of the night and at one point talking on the phone (on a zoom meeting?) That dampened our night a little. Food- the salad and the appetizers we ordered were great. The highlight was the Hirmasa, it is a sashimi dishes. Very fresh and refreshing with the citrus. Chicken karaage was crispy but not too heavy and the yuzu ginger sauce was so good. For entree we shared the pork chop. It was not memorable is how I will describe this dish. Nothing was bad about it but then it wasn't a dish that wowed us.

Beautiful, modern spot inside the Tetra Hotel! We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. The menu is small but interesting, with something for everyone. Tried the Fundamental Breakfast and the One-Plate Washoku -- the Washoku stole the show! It totally reminded us of Japan (and we LOVE Japan). Service was on point -- coffee refills without asking, friendly check-ins from both our waiter and the manager, and just good vibes all around. Highly recommend for a delicious, relaxing breakfast!

My oh my healthy! Roasted hazelnuts! Quoi!? C'est merveillleuse! Lobster Karaage. I don't eat lobster, but when I do it's at Adrestia! Yeah! Wagyu Burger. Regina's fave! And every bite was perfect! Japanese Cheesecake! Yuzu! Toasted sesame! Citrus medley. Oishii desu yo! Would order everything again! Thanks, Regina! Woohoo!

Food: 3 Decor: 4 Service: 3 Came here for Sunday brunch since we were staying overnight for a wedding. One-Plate Washoku Shio Koji Black Cod, Sweet Japanese Omelet, Pickled Vegetables, Tamanishiki Rice, Furikake, Simple Salad 4/5. Pretty good. Reminded me of food in Japan and was pretty tasty. Chicken Katsu Lettuce, Pickled Carrots, Tonkatsu Sauce, Simple Salad 2/5. Menu said chicken katsu, but we ended up getting a chicken katsu sandwich instead so felt like false advertising. Chicken was a bit soggy from the pickled carrots on top. Service was good.

Service was good, friendly and attentive. Cocktails were good too. Food was lackluster. For appetizers, we got chicken karaage that had thick breading and chicken wasn't as juicy as we would have liked, especially for the price. Entrees were the wagyu burger and wagyu short rib. We asked for the burger to be medium rare but it came well done, and the fries that came with the meal were just okay. The short rib was tender but also a little bit dry for wagyu. In the end, when we asked for our leftovers to be packed, they did not pack our French fries. :(

The photo I added really doesn't do the food justice but I cannot stress enough how much we loved this restaurant. The ambiance had a very chill, calm, relaxing upscale vibe. Which was so welcoming considering I had spent the day at standford and needed to decompress. The staff was wonderful, we kind of looked a little disheveled from a day of traveling and being at the hospital so both my husband and I didn't look like we were on a date more like we rolled out of bed and came down stairs for food. However, the staff was magnificent regardless of how we looked. The food, I have yet to have short ribs melted like butter before but these did! They were on the fatty side, so keep this in mind that this is a rich meal, but so worth the calories. The mash potatoes were whipped & creamy with some sort of sauce I couldn't name but I wasn't mad at it. The dish also came with "root vegetables" I have no idea what root vegetable it was.. but they tasted great. My husband ordered the wagu burger and fries, best burger he's ever had. 10/10 we will be back.

I had breakfast here for five consecutive days and was very satisfied. The restaurant is located in the lobby of the Tetra Hotel. During our visit, there were very few people, creating a great dining environment. The service staff were warm and attentive. Over the five days, we tried different breakfast dishes, and each one was excellent. Both the presentation and taste were outstanding.

Great food!! The wagyu burger is amazing. Perfectly cooked, high quality meat, soft delicious bun, solid bacon, can't ask for more! Mixed green salad was super fresh and dressing was very light yet tasty. The empanada was also very good, meat inside cooked to medium, which was a nice touch. It's a bit pricy for the amount of food you get but oh well. Service was decent, polite but not super knowledgeable (she called the chimichurri sauce "salsa verde" ) and a bit slow. Ambiance is ok, it's in a hotel lobby so it's only going to be so great, but it's a nice set up and nice decor.

We had high hopes for Adrestia but left underwhelmed and frustrated. Despite having reservations on a slow weekday, service was disorganized from the start, not sure if it was because we were a larger group (8)? We waited a long time to be greeted, and our server seemed confused--when ordering a spicy margarita with mezcal, she asked if that meant no vodka. Drinks took over 20 minutes, (we got a mix of their speciality cocktails, basic cocktails and wine) arriving after our appetizers, and two were wrong. Half the table got steak ($100 ribeye) which came out at the wrong temperatures, and we had to sort it out ourselves. Our server checked in only once, near the end. For over $1,000, the food was decent (scallops were good and I appreciated them making us an off menu pasta dish), but the service was terrible. Not worth it.

While the toppings were fantastic--crispy bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, and creamy avocado adding a nice richness--the patty itself fell short. I was expecting a tender, flavorful wagyu patty, but the meat was disappointingly tough and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. It wasn't a bad burger, just not the standout I anticipated. On the bright side, the French fries were a highlight. I ordered them crispy, and they arrived perfectly golden with a satisfying crunch. They paired wonderfully with the burger and helped elevate the meal.
