My mom and I flew from SoCal (Ontario Airport) to SJC to visit my sister, and we all stayed at this particular Hampton Inn for the very first time during Labor-Day weekend (4 days, 3 nights: 08/30/25 - 09/02/25). We stayed at the Hampton Inn at Alameda (near Oakland) before and had a fantastic experience, which was why we decided to stay at a Hampton Inn again! There are a total of 5 floors. We stayed at Room 526 (2 queen size beds with mini fridge and microwave). Shampoo, conditioner, lotion included - if empty simple let the front desk know (smells so good especially the lotion!) Check In: 3pm (you can check in a but earlier, which was what we did with no charge) Check Out: 12pm - TOTAL FOR STAY: $392.17 (I personally believe this was a great deal. I am also a AAA member so when booking this place I selected the AAA deal) - PARKING ($15 per night) = $45 OVERALL TOTAL = $437.17 I'm honestly not quite sure why there's a bunch of negative, low-star reviews. My mom, sister and I had a spectacular experience staying here. Very clean, modern-looking, and convenient. You may park outside or via underground parking, parking price is the same regardless ($15 per night). Breakfast (6am-9am): Free! It's not 'fancy' but does the job, and it's all you can eat too. Waffle and pancake maker (make sure to go early since it can get busy), yogurt, cereal, coffee & tea, potatoes, scrambled eggs, omelet with cheese, sausages, oatmeal, and many more! Some of the items may change on a daily basis (for instance, we did not see the omelet with cheese during our first breakfast day), but overall majority of the brekky items will be the same every day. Coffee, hot water, and tea service are 24/7. Gym is pretty small but does the work. There is also a swimming pool, meeting rooms, and free WiFi. If you would like to print documents then there is a printer downstairs. 5/5!!!

Our company utilizes this hotel often, for work travel. Booking directly with the hotel is always a pleasant experience and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Never a complaint from our employees about their experiences. The rooms are well appointed, always clean and if there is a problem, the staff is quick to remedy it. Like most hotels, the water pressure in the shower leaves something to be desired, but that might be just a thick haired girl problem LOL. Couldn't recommend this place more. It's a great value for a comfortable stay!

Negative stars if I could. Came here from driving about 3 hours for a stay at this place. Booked in advance a suite and checked in was smooth but upon entering room it was dirty. Beds not done even bathroom and toilet was dirty. Super upset at this situation and when asked for an accommodation told nothing else to do

Stayed here for a night. Nice staff. Clean establishment but had an off putting smell as you walked in the lobby . Smelled like stale water . Smell was in parking garage as well . All 3 trash cans were full around 1 pm when we arrived. Courtyard area also had 3 plates left with food on them. Still in area in the morning. . First time seeing that at a Hilton. I normally stay around 25 plus nights a year at Hilton's . Not welcomed at Diamond member . They have a nice amount of EV chargers. Parking is $9. Snack area has a nice selection. Breakfast was whatever . I had oatmeal and that was good enough. Nice gym . No pool. Enjoyed the room . King suite balcony. Thank you Vella for making this stay extra special . Nice hotel other than those minor things .

Although some of the staff at this hotel is nice, unfortunately overall it is poorly managed. Had a bad experience with loud noises coming from adjoining rooms for 3 different nights. A call to the front desk didn't solve the issue at all. The folks there were smoking marijuana and partying till late into the morning. It was impossible to sleep. I don't recommend staying here to anyone.

This place is just unbelievable, they don't allow walk ins and they don't give you refunds if you accidentally book on the wrong day, it was late I was tired they made me book twice and would not refund me

Stayed for 2 nights over new years weekend. 1 bedroom suite booked. Room was nice, clean, comfy. Overlooked the mini golf. Pros: breakfast included and free wifi. While breakfast didn't vary much both mornings it was hot and fresh, well stocked till end. 12PM check out and was able to extend till 1pm. Cons: very thin walls. Could hear everything with neighbors, vent in bathrom too. TV on wall mount was slightly crooked, pillow on bed SUCKED. Awful like were down with air in them. Other than that, enjoyed the location. Booked for the area as a staycation. Will stay again.

A brand new build in a convenient area in the south of the Bay region. As clean & fresh as you'd expect for the newness, with some of the fluffiest towels I've ever had at a Hampton. Breakfast area is very nice with an outdoor courtyard adjacent if you want to escape the bustle. There's more balcony rooms than typical for Hampton. The outside parking lot was full when I was there but there's an extensive (secured) parking garage as well. The location wedged between two roads isn't the most scenic (but very convenient for entry/exit). I had a view of the adjacent mini-golf facility which was entertaining. I usually don't review Hamptons because Hilton has been so successful in keeping the brand consistent-- you know exactly what the experience will be like (baseline) at US properties. But individual properties have quirks or can be "better". This one: better fit and finish than the average Hampton, with some regional wall art. The bathrooms seem better designed, there's that courtyard, and other architectural touches. Like, the ice machines are back behind the elevator (not next to any rooms) so they don't disturb anybody. Nice. The only negative: the AC is set up so it blows directly on the bed, which I personally find uncomfortable. A better design would aim towards the ceiling and circulate the air that way, or at least be angled away from the bed.

I had a great experience here. I did not book my own room, and it was looked over that there was no bathtub only a shower in the booked room. The hotel was very full, but I was so thankful I was able to switch to a disabled friendly room. Both rooms were very nice~ Self parking 25$ 12pm check out time. Great customer service!

Solid. Rooms were pretty clean. Basic. No frills. Smaller for Hampton standards, but my mom booked this room for us, and maybe we usually get the larger room, with a pull out sofa. Neutrogena products. Breakfast was basic-- a few hot items: potatoes, cheese egg omelet and turkey sausage (thanks for having a non-pork option). Make your own waffles, oatmeal, 3 cereal options, drinks, yogurt and bread station. Guess that sounds like a lot, but the layout made it seem smaller than other Hamptons. Actually had a nice view of the mini golf place next door and the mountains in the distance. We stayed on a Sat night and it was pretty loud all night. Both streets on either side are pretty busy. Not sure if it was the mini golf crowd, but the noise lasted past midnight. Nothing terribly wrong, or terribly amazing. Props for free parking.
