Very silly / dysfunctional process and Terrible & disrespectful attitudes from the receptionist & building management - they expect host of hackathon to come out and get every single person from the door who attends a hackathon and look down to guests. Last hackathon I went to in the city has 100 people, not sure how does that work in reality - the checking in process they insisted makes no sense for large event. The overall attitude is rude receptionist & managers looks down to guests and talks with a arrogant attitude like managing the door is the same as they developed AI themselves - but reality they could not event figure out a simple process works for people to attend event hassle free. Almost got literally stuck at the door while the event is only a few meters away from me unless they force the host to come out and get me. Absolutely Ridiculous.

PlugNPlay is an amazing place of brilliant minds building amazing things! The outdoor patios are amazing places to work and meet others...as are all the massage chairs. The food is great and priced well too. They check all the boxes. After 4 or 5 months of working inside PNP...it has been an honor & privilege to have our RepSheet.ai in their Sunnyvale office.

Pretty bad place to work. The overhead plane noise is extremely loud and unbearable if you are sitting on the second floor. There are also a lot of car/traffic noise if you sit near the walls near the streets. The office walls are thin as well and you can hear people talking outside the meeting rooms when you are inside a meeting room. The meeting rooms themselves are very hot and there are no thermostats to adjust it. The food options are expensive and the plates start at $10.21+. Otherwise, you have to pay per the weight of your salad from the salad bar.

Plenty of start-ups in one building and I can see why. Plenty of conference rooms to use for meetings and lots of snacks at the front reception =) The team meetings are productive here. I went to the cafeteria once and I went cereal crazy there.....just kept eating cereal =)

Stuck in 2000s. Plug and Play is riding the wave high right now but it needs to up its game soon if it wants to stay on top. Startups come in here based on the fame and history of this place, not the facilities or the working environment. This creates a vicious cycle where the owners do not have much incentive to upgrade and upkeep the facilities but instead focus on renting out as much space as possible. The whole building (especially the first floor with those ugly gray cubicles) is extremely crowded. You will find yourself working hard not to bump into people in certain problem zones (near coffee room) where literally only one person can walk at any time. But there are generally multiple people trying to pass by at most times. Owners/managers: Please take yourselves to the office of any successful startup in SF or anywhere else bay area, and look at their amenities, building quality, cleanliness, atmosphere etc. And then try to replicate it at PnP. The first step might be eliminating cubicles since this is not the 90s and we are not on the set of "Office Space"! As someone who comes to work here every day, here are a few tips: 1. The floors are dirty and need to be vacuumed more often than weekly 2. The cafeteria, has very limited hours and needs to have fresh fruit. (at least apples?) Noone wants to eat candy from vending machine for dinner because they stayed late at work like past 4:30pm. 3. Forget compost. There are NO RECYCLING BINS. You are good at marketing yourself, please also be good at making your facilities decent. Either that or someone needs to start a company to disrupt these guys.

Pros: Close to 101, climate control, lots of parking, cool giant Buddha, close to gym, international startup area is neat Cons: Staff at front desk have a weird entitled vibe, NO WINDOWS on the top floor, bathrooms are dark, outdated and run out of toilet paper, cafe food is expensive and overly fancy and not good (salads are fine), not walkable to any good lunch options, hideous landscaping with butchered trees, chairs are poor quality, internet connection is bad and expensive, they charge for badges and conference rooms, loud conferences with booming base throughout the building one or more times per week, no social events to get startups to meet each other in the building, coffee cups and creamer frequently run out, constant tours in the office clogging the hallways Overall, this is a good place for a temporary 2-3 person startup setup but you outgrow it pretty quick. It's a business, not an office, so be prepared to be squeezed for every little thing.

One of the startups I worked for was in this space. It's basically the Iranian mafia startup incubator. They own a few other locales in PA, RWC, too. They've got their own server room space, some outsourced IT, and you shared physical locality with a ton of other companies. I believe they generally negotiate a piece of your business too unless you haggle otherwise. In some cases it's cool to have a shared provided for resource, but as you grow it becomes constraining. They have a cafeteria up top and a decent locale. So if you're a small fry company trying to jumpstart your idea, it's one place where you can get that done

"Work food and cafeteria food" may not be the normal Yelp review, but the food is pretty darn good here. There's also a brightly colored and well thought out area on the second floor. The food quality is above average, the selection broad and the prices are reasonable. Yes, it isn't Google. And yes you have to pay for the food here, but for "cafeteria food" this isn't like the old days at your high school. Well, maybe your high school. But not mine. lol So if someone at the building wants to meet you here for lunch. Don't pass it up. Besides, they'll be one of many, many startups in the building. If you're a startup yourself, you should check it out and talk to Ryan, etc... One question: There's 120+ companies, mostly web 2.0, so why am I only the second review here?!? Helloooo? Isn't this strange? I figured there'd be 40-50 reviews. Busy programming?
