One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. If you're in Camden/Pennsauken, or just passing through on the way to or from Philly, La Ingrata definitely is worth a stop. I had tacos campechanos (not on the menu, but they made them quickly and deliciosos), but saw people around me with beautiful Tortas, Burritos, and more. Authentic Oaxaca, Puebla, and CDMX style food from a proud owner/chef/designer/entrepreneur/mom. Cute, setting decorated with blow-up photos of Mexican entertainers like Cantinflas. Owner says that every weekend she roasts borrego barbacoa in the traditional 3 day marination and cooking technique. Watch-out South Philly! I'll return for sure. La Ingrata deserves all the success

The bad - tiny burrito & parking lot stunk like ganja (most likely barber shop next door since it was younger guys that look like they smoke often) The good - best burrito I had in South Jersey. Free parking out front The burrito was surprisingly great. I didn't expect anything since I've gotten enough burritos from other spots in camden. They include the sauces too but wish it didn't cost $12.80 for a small portion. I'd give it 5 stars if the burrito was larger or cheaper.

Carne asada tacos are the only dish I get from here because I love it so much I don't want to even try anything else! This is an authentic taco place with a cute interior. The vibe is very welcoming. The service is always on point and never a long wait for my tacos!

Came here for lunch. Nice vibe inside. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Tried a bunch of stuff, the corn and tacos. For the tacos, it comes in order of 3, no side bar like some taco shops where you add your own toppings. This comes with cilantro, onion, side of radish, lime. Given 2 sides of tasty spicy sauces. We also got a small plate of nachos with bean sauce for free as an app and they were tasty! Corn: Large, lots of cheese on it, and was very tasty Tacos: I enjoyed the al pastor the most. My 2nd favorite was the fish, which was battered and had a nice crunch. The sauce was really tasty it came with. Then the shrimp, which I expected also battered but weren't, tasted a little plain. Could have used the fish sauce honestly. Last was the arabe, which the sauce it came with was a bit sweet for my taste. Overall, it was very tasty. It's a bit pricey, so don't expect street taco style.

On point!!! We had a great little lunch on Sunday in this quiet spot. Very kind staff and yummy food. The guacamole was excellent and the salsas were great. Watch out for the spicy in the yellow mango sauce. We will be back.

Really enjoyed the food, when seated we were given chips with refried black beans and 2 types of salsa. The el pastor, the asada and the chicken flautas were all delicious. Great horchata too!

I ordered food to-go from here based on ratings. The parking lot is very small but the place is beautifully decorated and clean. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted and when I told them I was there to pick up food, They were able to help me very quickly. I ordered a birria pizza, guacamole and chips and a carnitas burrito for my boyfriend. The guac was fresh and perfectly salted. The pizza was delicious but I was missing the consommé for it, and didn't realize it was missing from the bag till I got home. The burrito was good but it was extremely greasy and it sort of ruined the flavor of the burrito.

I can't believe it took me so long to get here. Cute little restaurant with fun decor. Food was delicious and service was great. I got a small horchata and the fish tacos. Drink was the right amount of sweet and the fish tacos were crispy and the sauce was yummy - complementary tortilla chips and beans were tasty too. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

La Ingrata was fantastic! It was our first time and we had a great experience. As soon as we walked in the staff was very friendly and accommodating. First we ordered the still-sizzling queso fundido, which was super rich and decadent - the cheese pull was crazy! For the mains I got the gorditas with carnitas. Honestly, the juiciest and most tender carnitas I've ever had. My girlfriend got the carne asada which was super flavorful and came with all sorts of things - rice, beans, avocado, queso Oaxaca, nopales, tortillas...overall, the portions were generous, the prices affordable, and the food absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

Probably one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I have ever been to as well as the cleanest!! I had a bowl of shrimp soup that was the special that day. Huge, hot and delicious. The shrimp were quite big along with nice chunks of potatoes and carrots. The portion was very generous. Very tasty!! My husband had the shrimp tacos. Three per order. Also quite tasty and filled with shrimp, cheese cilantro and onions. The owner came in after we got there and made her way over to our table to welcome us. Very personable and engaging. Big black and white, framed photos of movie stars, comedians and entertainers from back in the day. So cozy and comfortable. Bright and cheery. Just loved it. Next visit, which will be our Fourth, we'll take pictures. We dig in immediately when the food comes and forget to take pictures. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
