Seems pricey for kbbq but I guess they give you the tiers to choose from. Minh was our waiter and they were spectacularly helpful replenishing all sauces, sides, and our grills. Down to helping us remove the bones from the galbi. Plenty of appetizers to choose from and good space at the table. Love the steamed egg option as well.

Seven of us came here to celebrate my birthday. It was my first time here and had no idea what to expect. We sat at a huge table so had plenty of room but it was very difficult to talk from one end of the table to the other. Noise level was very high . There are many different kinds of meats to chose from along with some appetizers and salads. There is a drink menu too that two of our party tried. They have a children's menu but we were shocked at how expensive it was for a three year old who didn't eat much at all. We got several kinds of beef, chicken and shrimp. I didn't like the spicy beef but did enjoy the rest. Our waiter was fabulous, very attentive and friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed cooking our meats and the sauces that were offered. It was a good experience and I enjoyed most of it but the price is too high for me, so I will not return on my own.

Seol Grille is one of the few restaurants in the Triangle to specialize in Korean barbecue. My wife and I lived in Atlanta for a long time and currently live in the DMV, both of which possess established Korean food scenes with excellent K-BBQ options. We decided to check out this place while visiting the area to see how it compared to our favorites in those respective metro areas. We visited on a Saturday for lunch with my brother in law. We arrived right at opening and were seated almost immediately. A small queue formed when we left 2 hours later, so consider using the online waitlist. Upon being seated, we were asked to choose which all you can eat package we wanted to go for, and we opted for the "silver" option given that my wife and brother-in-law don't eat beef. Along with a variety of meats, the restaurant offers a wide selection of non-grilled dishes including Korean ramen, pajeon, and even Korean style corn dogs. The meat options tasted fairly fresh and we enjoyed the marinades, which struck the appropriate balance between slightly sweet and savory. Some favorites included the spicy pork bulgogi, marinated pork shoulder, the marinated kalbi, and, surprisingly, the buldak chicken. We also liked the buldak ramen, kimchi fried rice, and the various pajeon we ordered from the non-meat menu section. The banchan options while not remarkable were decent and paired with the food well. Do note that you are expected to cook the meat yourself, as the staff did not offer to provide cooking services. This contrasts to other Korean barbecue places I have been to that offer either self-cook or waiter cooking service. The grills here nonetheless are fairly simple to use and offer downdraft venting to reduce smoke and smells. I do wish the grills ran a touch hotter, as I struggled to get a good char on some of the meats without overcooking them. Service was prompt and attentive, and our waiter was on top of our constant orders and regularly changed out our grill plates. The environment feels bright, modern, and clean. The silver option costs $39 per person, which was fair given the great variety of options including pricier cuts of beef such as kalbi. While not the best Korean barbecue we have had, our experience at Seol Grill was nonetheless very solid and I am glad the Triangle has a respectable option for this kind of cuisine.

I will never not love this place. The AYCE is definitely pricey & they add gratuity even if it's just two people which doesn't make sense because I could've swore the menu states otherwise.. the chimichurri is amazing although they've gotten skimp with the sauce like they're scared to give it out and when they do it's a small portion , I get everyone loves it but geez I pay all this and I'm not even trusted to have a good amount of sauce ? I will say the vibes are great, I hate a robot brings me to my table lol but it plays music which is cute. Wait is sometimes long for a table . Service comes and checks on you every 5 minutes or so , never long at all.

As a long time supporter and advocate for Seol Grille...today was disappointing. I was alone but wanted to grab some KBBQ to celebrate a productive weekend. I arrived to a basically empty restaurant. I put my name down on the YELP waitlist. I was the only one in line. The guy handed me a menu and basically tried to force me to eat the "lunch" menu since I was a party of one. After explaining that I was here for KBBQ, he handed me the KBBQ menu. I told him what I wanted he pretended and took is sweet time to try to get me a table when there were so many open. When another couple showed up, he was all kind to them. One thing I dislike most Asian businesses is the fact that they will treat other races better than their own. Yes, that couple was white. I'm prefer not to give my money to businesses like this and rather go elsewhere. Peace out.

You can get on the waitlist through Yelp to cut down on your wait time. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that you could do this and there were a bunch of people waiting. Luckily the wait wasn't too long. My daughter was hoping the robot would seat us but it wasn't in use. Even though the restaurant was packed, the booth we were sitting at was surrounded with planter dividers and it was very secluded. We were impressed with the staff. Our drinks were kept full and our server checked on us often to see if we wanted to place another order. The staff walked around pretty regularly to check on our grill. When they noticed that the food started sticking to the grill plate, they quickly replaced it with a clean grill plate. My favorite was the Seol Steak. I also liked the Bulgogi but it wasn't as sweet as I've had at other Korean BBQ places. My daughter's favorite was the Premium Brisket which I thought was tender but lacked flavor. There is a 100 min. time limit from the moment your order is placed. I'm not sure how close we were to the time limit, but it was enough time with 4 people ordering several rounds of meat. This will definitely be on our rotation when we visit our daughter & son-in-law. I can see why they were voted Best Korean Restaurant 2 years in a row!

Seol Grille is an experience. It's very popular and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. The food is good and the staff is polite, but if you are looking for a slow and intimate dinner this is not the place. It is incredibly loud and while the staff is polite and helpful they definitely give the impression that they are trying to push people through.

I had great service and the food is ok. They were out of steamed egg early on and $200+ for lunch on Sunday was a but much. I like it but this but 4 starts on their best day and 3 today.
