This place was really great.  I was very skeptical of the "star" status restaurant world where chefs start a billion restaurants (I've read too many Bourdain books about the culinary world, I guess), but this one lives up to its hype.

The drink menu was really great, and their signature drink of the night (HK something or other) was delicious.  Their wine menu was limited (at least the one I received), but we found something for the table's needs.

The seafood tower for two was big enough for the six of us to have a solid appetizer portion from it.  The "breads and spreads" [sic] was also a great accompaniment.  As to the main courses, the beef was delicious, and the server/restaurant was kind enough to allow us to split some plates.  They got plenty out of us that night, however.  The check was the largest I'd ever signed for in my life.

Dinner cost an arm, a leg and then some, but everything was absolute perfection. $1,030 later (with tip) and still no regrets. Service was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive, efficient and a good conversationalist. It was clear that he loved his job and he was proud of the dishes they produced. The ambiance was elegant without pretentiousness.

Appetizers:
Shrimp cocktail - the shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. The sauce paired with the Fresno chilis and cucumber gelee was spicy and bright.

Hamachi Crudo - high quality cuts of fish perfectly complemented with the other components of the dish. The apples lent fresh sweetness while the crispy nori lent textural contrast and saltiness.

Entrees:
8oz American wagyu filet with butter poached lobster - our waiter indicated that this steak was Gordon Ramsay’s favorite so of course, I ordered it and it was strikingly obvious why it’s a favorite. The steak was cooked to my desired temp, well seasoned and tender. The butter poached lobster was cooked well and flavorful.
The dish was consummately divine.

Roasted beef Wellington - my daughter tried a beef Wellington for the first time and she loved it. She said the pastry dough was delicious and the meat was seasoned well. She also loved the added flavor of the demi-glacé.

Steak trio (Japanese wagyu, filet, ribeye) - the wagyu had a firm but tender consistency. A holy trinity of meats.

Extra:
Salt tasting - our favorite was the Hawaiian black salt. It enhanced the umami of our steaks.

French fries - typically truffle fries, but we requested them to just be seasoned with salt, per my daughter’s preference. We had truffle salt as part of the tasting though and either way the fries were great.

Dessert:
Toffee sticky pudding - addicting. Cake was moist and light. The brown butter ice cream and  toffee topping enhanced sublimity.

Milk chocolate mousse - pistachio sponge cake with white chocolate cremeax and pistachio gelato. The cake was light, the mousse was creamy and the gelato had a balanced pistachio flavor.

Drinks:
Old fashioned - smooth and balanced
Strawberry martini - too damn good! Potency dangerously masked by the prominently sweet, strawberry flavor.

This place has the most organized system of waiters and servers that I have ever witnessed. I have been to a few amazing restaurants with a great system as well, but this place takes the cake. You have one constantly keeping your table clean. Another one is replacing your silverware and plate if it's not used again after about 30 seconds. while another is constantly refilling your drinks. They are so skilled that we didn't even notice half the time that our drinks had been refilled until we reached out to take a sip. It almost felt like if they came and refilled our drinks after every 3 sips. Very VERY attentive. A very well polished system. We loved the tomahawk steak, although it could have used a little bit more flavor. The appetizer was amazing! The creamy mashed potatoes were one of the best! The deserts.... perfect!! This is definitely another restaurant that I highly recommend! It's truly one of the best! I can not wait to come back!

This was one of our favorite dining experiences ever!!! The atmosphere was hip and unique, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. We celebrated our anniversary, and definitely felt spoiled!

We finally got to experience a true Gordan Ramsay cuisine, and wow, we were not disappointed! I've never had a Beef Wellington, and I can say now, I'm so glad I waited to try it here. It is better than expected! My husband also enjoyed his steak. The potato puree is also delicious!

Now, you must leave room for dessert! They aren't kidding when they say the sticky toffee pudding is award winning. It genuinely is one of the best desserts I've ever had!!!

The cost is on the high end, but you won't be disappointed!

The strawberry margaritas and lemon cheese cake were my favorite. We were seated promptly when we arrived for our reservation. We had a party of 6. It was a little difficult for us to hear from one side of the table to the other but we were also there during peak dinner during one of the busiest events in vegas. The service was very professional and attentive. I wish I remembered his name.
