After dreaming of visiting the Atomic Liquors for ages, the reality felt a tad disappointing. Sure, the neon sign outside screams retro chic, but once you step inside, it’s just your average bar—no nuclear-themed décor to spice things up. It was like walking into a regular hangout spot, not the quirky gem I was hoping for.

However, I must tip my hat to the bartender who was filling in for the regular crew at their Christmas party. What a gem! He whipped up an impressive cocktail and was incredibly friendly, making the experience more enjoyable. The chill vibe and proximity to El Cortez were a definite plus, though.

I might swing by again, but I’ll set my expectations a bit lower next time. If you're after a low-key place to unwind, it's worth a visit, but don't go expecting atomic thrills.

Absolutely love this place!! Love the look of it, the feel of it, the way it's dark and smokey like an old bar should be and most of all, I love the history of it! I just wish I could have been able to watch the mushroom clouds from atomic testing from the roof of the building like they used to do back in the day. Definitely a great place off the strip to drink with friends and the food is great too!

Went to atomic and had a great time as usual. Took a friend there and it had been her first time. The bartender Dominic was great and offered just enough sass to keep us laughing and having fun. Service was prompt despite him being the only bartender there and it being quite busy. He even clued us in on the pizza specials for that night (I got a sausage pizza and it was perfect bar food). We had a great time and the only complaint I have is that it didn’t seem like the AC was on because it was a little warm in the bar.
