This just became my wife and I’s favorite place in Denver and we LOVE food. Honestly not sure how anyone could mark this less than 5 stars ever. Go for the $95 each tasting menu because we left soo full and got to try every amazing dish they had. Honestly a steal when you compare the other full dish options. The cocktails looked amazing and uniquely crafted but we chose not to drink this time. The service was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and perfectly timed. DONT SLEEP ON THE SHAKEN RICE AND PORK BELLY!! 🔥You bet we will be back again and again!

The New York strip was fantastic. As was the Chicken Liver mousse. I had 3 non alcoholic drinks and my wife had one cocktail. Total, $200 tip included. This is an ideal anniversary spot. The building and layout is interesting. It’s lovely and upbeat, I like a more calm environment. They have a small outdoor deck that overlooks Tennyson that’s pretty neat.

Excellent Korean popcorn chicken with homemade sauces (5/5).  Also excellent dessert with homemade sauces (5/5). Perfectly cooked Wagyu shortrib (5/5).  Very tasty Ikura caviar with Texas toast (4/5). Average Caesar salad that was skimpy on the anchovies (3/5).  Average baked oysters that were $7 each which is expensive even for Denver.  Average location and atmosphere (3/5).  Average service from the primary waitress (3/5). Slightly below average red wine and beer selection (2/5) but they seem like more of a cocktail joint.  Prices way above average for the location, quality and content.  Our meal was about $250 for two people. The whole experience would have been 5/5 for a price of $150 or less. So 4/5 downgrade for the price.  Then they have a mandatory 20% service charge which I despise.  I’m happy to give a 20% based on service but a mandatory service fee is basically management hiding additional costs. If they wanted Just wages then they would simply pay the servers justify and add it to the food cost.  The only reason to make it a mandatory service charge is to make the already way overpriced dishes look cheaper.  I deduct one star for every restaurant that has a 20% service charge.

Food was phenomenal but was absolutely freezing cold in the restaurant- noticed portable heaters by the front and blankets but was not offered a blanket though I had made a comment about being cold to our server. Lighting is very harsh and white, very little ambiance. Service was also nothing special- no mention of the specials, any details about the menu, questions about dietary restrictions… just “ready to order?”. We went with the walk with us and loved the food but the overall experience left us not wanting to come back.
