Excellent course meal with creative drink pairings and phenomenal ambiance. As with most any Michelin course meal, the food was superb. As with the other restaurants in the id est family, the use of fermentation techniques and fermented ingredients shines on this menu as well as in the non alcoholic pairing option. While not my favorite of the Michelin restaurants in Denver from a culinary perspective, the ambiance blew me away. We were seated in a very private canvas tent including a fireplace that the staff graciously adjusted to our desired temperature. Having our own private space really helped to create an intimate setting as we enjoyed our meal. The only hiccup in our evening was that the staff were not fully up to speed on our reservation which had included some pairings as well as an allergy. Overall a wonderful experience worth every penny.

The Wolf's Tailor was the second Michelin Star restaurant I have been to and I will say that the Michelin Inspectors know what they are doing when selecting which restaurants are chosen to brand the prestigious Michelin Star. The experience here is truly second to none, especially if you book the tent seating outside for a unique ambiance (highly, highly recommend it).

The food experience was truly something special. We visited at a time where plenty of Colorado plants and fruits were in season, so most if not all our dishes included at least something locally sourced. It was also really nice that our server explained every dish including the inspiration of the dish, where everything was sourced from, and what flavor combinations to look out for. For those of you that have not been to a Michelin Star restaurant before, the courses are meticulously crafted to provide a journey or story as one progresses from one course to the next taking into account flavor profiles, intensity of the flavors, etc. It truly is an experience and The Wolf's Tailor does it exquisitely.

Another aspect of Michelin Star restaurants are their impeccable service standards which The Wolf's Tailor nails. As mentioned before, our server took her time to explain every dish we received so we fully understood the intentions of the chef and the dishes. Everything was timed perfectly.

I would highly recommend visiting The Wolf's Tailor for a very special occasion as they will enhance that occasion make it even more special.

Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with such positive energy and warmth. This was our first ever tasting menu paired with mixed cocktails and wine, we are still raving about our experience. Every staff member is knowledgeable and so friendly. The menu had some really good dishes and some well paired drinks. I think I was expecting a little bit more, some dishes were lacking flavors, also our entire table left still hungry, as well with the table across from us. I just think a few things could be fixed to make this restaurant perfect. I wouldn’t consider is a Michelin star yet.

This was an 8 course dinner, it did take over three hours, I did think that there was a lot of time in between the dishes as well, which could be improved as well.

I went for my birthday dinner, they don’t really do anything special for birthdays. They just put a candle on the last dish.

Fish dishes were not fishy & did taste fresh!

I tried both the cocktail and the wine pairing, both were good,  I liked certain ones better than others, but I couldn’t pick which I liked better.

This place is truly special. Our entire experience was literally perfect. My wife enjoyed a few drinks off of the menu and I went for the wine pairing. The wine pairing included many styles I’ve never tried, so it was great going in completely blind with expectations for mostly everything that was poured.

The staff gets a HUGE amount of praise. We literally had about 6 people rotating throughout service, all of them were informative and delightful. And as an added special touch they had a birthday card for my wife that was signed by a bunch of staff members.

We sat outside in the garden area and it was magical. This place is meticulous with their garden and seating area. We loved how intimate the area felt and admired the combination of working gardens with the decor. I definitely found myself inspired to rethink what a garden area can look like.

The food was spectacular! Michelin needs to continue awarding stars to The Wolf’s Tailor, it’s truly incredible. We especially liked not knowing the menu so we could really focus on enjoying the moment of each dish. At the end we were given a menu to take home, which was a nice surprise because we kept trying to remember the various dishes and what stood out to us, so having the menu at the end was great.
