Well, the food is not bad.  Their salads are good and fresh.  Their slices are fairly good, except they are pretty skimpy with cheese and sauce.  They have a lunch special under $10, which is also a plus.  My reason for giving it only one star is the horrible and immature attitude that the manager displayed today.  I found a large piece of bone with a sharp edge under the cheese on my pizza.  Thankfully it was big enough that I immediately found it upon taking a bite.  If ingested this could have caused serious issues with the sharp point.  I showed it to the manager so that he could be aware and he said , "that's impossible" and turned and walked away.   I had already finished my meal and certainly was not looking for a comp, but for customer safety he needed to know this and check through their meats.  I went back up  to him and said that this was quite serious and could be a real hazard and he gave me the cold shoulder again and walked away.  Thank God I did not swallow it or break a tooth.  And thankfully a child did not get that particular slice.  If it was just an employee, I could see how they may be young and not understand the need for customer care diplomacy and ensuring safety, but this was the actual manager, so I don't feel safe to go back there again.  Decent food and prices don't override safety for me.

Parking at Leon Gessi New York Pizza is limited. Enter in under a white popcorn ceiling with fans (gold and wooden with orange glow lighting) and walk across orange(ish) tiled floors to order at the counter. Note: ranch and marinara cups are $0.75 each. Booths are wooden, comfortable for two, but could fit three if really needed. This restaurant has tables and booths adorned in Gingham tablecloths (red or blue); remember to step up for the booths. Highchairs and boosters available. One will find the decor to be that of New York articles and photo, plus a number of beers represented. The floor seemed dirty. While dining, your fountain drinks, in blue articles Pepsi glasses, are self-serve and you bus your own table (unless this has changed since we dined). The salad plates were chilled and thus why the bread that cones with the salad was cold, but I was still surprised it was not at least warm. I enjoyed that the "plates" were actually small pizza pans. The garlic cheese bread was light and airy; littles loved it...marinara was hot. A number of items to enhance your meal will be found on the tables: salt, pepper, napkins, chili pepper flakes, garlic, Parmesan cheese.

Great pizza!!! Can't recommend enough and right next door is BJ's for a delicious treat after if you like? Its a perfect pair for a nice evening out! We did have an issue of waiting until we finished our meal to receive our wings (which are only boneless, btw) but they were good once we got to taste them. Definitely come for some bomb pizza though!!!

I have never cried at a restaurant for how good the food is but I did cry here. Everything about the place is amazing. I’ll be coming in here regularly until I move out of the state

Pizza and mountains have a special charm to me. Craft beer and good pizza always make for a good experience. A NY pizza style restaurant and some IPA made it even more so. Great tasting food and helpful service. Busy place for take out too. Well beloved by locals to say the least.
