service was ok, I wish I'd known earlier (like when making the online reservation) that I needed to bring my insurance policy number. Instead, I was standing in the rain outside ( they won't let you in due to covid) calling my insurance company. The car was nice, but they left me 1/4 tank of gas and the light came on the second I left the lot. My biggest issue was the car stunk like cigarette smoke. It was awful, no amount of fresh air or Febreze helped. When I mentioned it to the salesman, he simply said " oh yeah that happens" So you don't fumigate your cars? I still paid full price for a stinky, cigarette smoked laced vehicle. not pleased UPDATE: I was told by Derek that someone in customer service would be "in contact with me soon" regarding this review. That has yet to happen.

Horrible experience with a recent rental after a car accident. I had a scheduled pick up from my dealership, and no one ever answered the phone or showed up from the location. I received no email, or call regarding any changes. I had to walk over a mile, in 85 degrees, heels, with all my bags only to arrive to an empty lot with no cars. I missed a meeting for work, and was drenched in sweat. Upon arrival the employee was on a call (with an obvious colleague) and was flustered at my "not happy" response to how I was doing. They offered excuses and claimed they never received a call. Call logs are great and show my 5 calls, not to mention the one from my dealership. As part of a company who thrives on "we'll pick you up" is a joke. No apology, just an implication this was somehow my fault. I don't care what's going on internally, when it comes down to customer service be proactive. Short cars? Make calls and notify your customers. If this wasn't through my insurance, I'd definitely pick another car rental agency. Not to mention this is after I already rescheduled my reservation from the previous week due to lack of cars. What I don't understand is how you have a reservation at a specific location and they KNOW at 7:30 am when they get to work, they don't have cars to support their reservations, why not make calls/ emails to your customers to try and make alternate accommodations? As if getting into a car accident wasn't enough, dealing with all this for something that wasn't my fault is beyond frustrating.

This is by far the worst enterprise location that I've ever dealt with! They are rude, they have hung up on me, they have charged my credit card without my permission even though I asked them not to until I resolved an issue. I had to go every weekend to this location to take care of a "problem" Then they try to triple the amount of my contract cost, causing me to have to return the vehicle. Who wants to pay over $500 a week for a combat car? THE WORST! Save yourself the trouble.

I needed a small car to rent for a few hours as my car was in the shop. I went to Enterprises in Hartford and sure enough they had a car reserved for me. I asked for a car that did not have a smoker smell. I was assured they car was clean, it smelled great at first but about 10 minutes of driving the air freshener was so strong it stated to be overwhelm me. I called the store and requested a new car but they had nothing to switch out. As the day wore one the air freshener wore off and now comes the smell of old cigarette smell. I returned the car at day's end and the manager refuse to refund and insisted the car did not smell like smoke. He refused to refund my money and then told me that he could not give me a ride and that I had to take the car to a location in my town. Just really bad customer service. I had to take my cloth to the cleaners just to get the smell or smoke and air freshener out.

I would consider myself a regular. I have an older vehicle and tend to travel out of town for business, family, pleasure and I like to rent cars. I love this location even though it's not necessarily the most convenient for me, but the staff has always treated me well and with respect. I have rented excellent vehicles and at the best prices. I love it when it doesn't look like a rental, only wish they had more Fords for me to try! STAFF + CLEAN QUALITY VEHICLES = MANY RETURN VISITS!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Absolutely the most unintelligent, useless humans I've ever dealt with. I am 24 years old and have been renting from Enterprise since I was 21 - that's three years now. Have never had any issues until today. Every single other Enterprise I've ever been to has been completely fine with my insurance policy, or has let me purchase an insurance policy and pay per day when I rent. This place refused to rent a car to me due to my insurance policy, and said it was "corporate policy" that I couldn't be rented to/purchase insurance. However, their CORPORATE WEBSITE says that all you need to be able to rent a car is: a valid drivers license (I have that), be of minimum age to rent from them (their minimum age is 21, am I am above that by three years), and a valid form of payment (I have multiple of those). When I acknowledged that's what their website said, and how I have rented from various other branches throughout the years, some even in different countries, they completely blew me off and still refused to rent. I genuinely think talking to a brick wall would have been more productive than speaking to these people - I have never seen such incompetency in my life. I even called another nearby Enterprise branch to confirm that with what I had, I should be allowed to rent a car, and this branch checked TWICE with a manager, and reported that I am most certainly permitted to rent a car, as long as it is a full size car (which is what I booked, since I have known the policy). I also presented this information, and still the employees refused to rent me a car. I am in disbelief at how poor their customer service is here, and how their own employees don't seem to know actual corporate policy, especially seeing as it is a simple Google search. I wish I remembered everyone's names, but I mostly dealt with someone named Andrew, who was truly the least helpful individual I've ever encountered. I hope everyone here can review their actual corporate policies so no one is stranded 30+ miles away from where they need to be again. I will be calling corporate with this issue.

I use this location often, and they are wonderful every time! They bend over backwards to pick you up and drop you off. They always have a good selection of cars, and they get you in them quickly!!

Very pleased with the service. Staff picked me up from dealership when my car is being repaired and gave me brand new Toyota to use. However, there is WAY TOO MUCH air freshener used in this vehicle and it is causing me to have headaches, not to mention wreaking havoc with my asthma. My car will be ready Saturday morning and I will be returning this rental.
