I've been wanting to check this food truck out. Today was there lucky day. My friend was picking up a catfish sandwich for his mom. He picked up the shrimp and scallops with sweet potato fries. The seafood is very fresh. The shrimp were plump and juicy. I was so happy with my sea scallops. I've dined at seafood restaurants. To my disappointment, the scallops were cut in half. Of your paying top dollar for sea scallops. Please give me what I ordered. Just Fish food truck didn't disappoint. I was very impressed with the presentation of my food. It was piping hot. The fries were on the oily side. No worries, I will return to try other items on the menu. The service was quick and consistent. The truck has great ambiance. The food truck is very colorful and stands out it draws a lot of attention. The hours of service as follows: Monday through Wednesday 11:30 am to 6:00 pm Thursday through Saturday 11:30 am to 7:00 pm. Ordered the catfish and shrimp platter. Absolutely delicious and filling for the price. The quality of the fish was excellent. The seasoning on the fish and fries were absolutely delicious, honestly would have been fine without any sauce. I did get the mango habanero on the side, it was good but the fish really spoke for itself. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered on a Tuesday afternoon in downtown Hartford and got my food freshly made in 20 minutes.

I've been meaning to check this truck out for a bit but somehow kept missing them. There were only 10 mins between ordering and getting my food and the service was friendly. I didn't catch her name but she's the owner's daughter! I got the salmon with fries and an order of hushpuppies, which came to $18. I feel like the portions were a good size for that price. The salmon was fried and not dry but was better with the sweet chili sauce, in my opinion. I didn't know the fries would be seasoned. They weren't bad but I would've preferred them just with salt. The hushpuppies were a little too dry for my liking. They were almost crumbling as I picked them up but the flavor was on point. I overheard a few people talking about their wings so I'll check them out again and try something new!

Basic fish fry dining out of a bus. Not great, but a fun story Traveling to hartford, we encountered something that was a bit of an oddity. A food truck, but it was a full school bus. Intrigued, we turned off the road to meet this food bus and see what they were about. Turns out it's a fish place, and the girlfriend was really looking for some seafood. So we spun the wheel and gave this a try. We looks through the menu and see they got scallops, so we get the final order of scallops they had and wait in the car. Food comes out promptly, taking only about 10 minutes for things to get cooked. We get a thin plastic t-shirt bag with our meal and I take pics. The scallops, they were overcooked but the flavor was okay. Not crispy but seasoned well. the fries were generic, not memorable. They gave us some generic hot sauce and tartar sauce packets that make a decent dip for everything. The price was relatively cheap for the portion. if they executed the dish properly, then it would be pretty good with a fun story. Right now though, it's more a try and carry on type of place.

Strongly would not recommend. After NOT providing kind customer service, they get my order wrong. Then had an attitude. The fries were soggy and unseasoned and the bread wasn't toasted. When I mentioned it to the owner he said, "we don't toast the bread because it's southern food." I've been to the South plenty of times and the service and food at this food truck was disgraceful. Southern food is hospitable and tasteful. This truck was anything but "Southern." Never eating here again and would not recommend. Wasted $15 on a salmon sandwich.

I from the southern part of this country so my love for fried fish persuaded me to try this spot! I don't know why anyone would give this place anything 4 stars because the food is always on point, the service is solid and the price is beautiful! They have more dipping sauces which you should try - where else can you get two big catfish fillets and french fry's for TEN DOLLARS and it be delicious???

Ran into this food truck on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try some of their fish as they had a really good selection. We got the fish fry which included salmon, whiting fish and catfish. The order was done within 10 minutes as promised. We didn't get the fries that came with it, just the fish so I think they gave us extra pieces of fish which was nice. The breading was good - very lightly done and tasty (not like the batter you get when ordering fish and chips, for example). I loved the salmon. Beautifully done and tasty. The whiting fish was not that great. We felt the quality of the fish was definitely not as good as the salmon or catfish. The catfish was a nice surprise - very tender and flaky. We both enjoyed the fish and would stop at the truck again.

I wouldn't recommend it. The chips were cold, I ordered catfish they gave me whiting, how is it wet spots on the fish? And he took my tip and said "hope you like it". 1st and last time ordering that shit.

Im Obsessed With Just Fish! There's No where you can go and get southern style HUSH PUPPIES and Deep fried CATFISH THIS FLAVORFUL!!! Not to Mention The FRIED SHRIMP are HUGE and cooked perfect! NOW THAT mango spicy something sauce (idremember the name) that shit goes good with everythang on that menu... including the Fries...BRUH Y'all gotta try this FOOD TRUCK, NO CAP!!!
