So cute! Stopped in this picture perfect deli for a breakfast sandwich and I'm glad I did! Odd hours - they close early but we were told they'll be staying open later in the future. The place is cute as a button and 5 stars for ambiance and cuteness. The sandwich was good too. Eggs were a tad over cooked and not my favorite roll but a very good bfast sandwich in the Colt area. The coffee was excellent with two brews to pick from. There's little else around so I pray they do well as I plan on stopping by again since I'm new to this neighborhood. Super friendly service and nice clientele when I visited.

**** I apparently posted this review for the wrong page previously, after returning for a second visit, the place has not improved ****Second visit update - one person ahead of my and a coworker, kid working the register was all over the place, he could not figure out handing people foods and taking orders. After waiting 10 minutes to have our order taken, the kid began. He put the order into the system, was distracted and stopped after waiting 5 minutes we just left. **** First review This place resonates Colt Cafe. Who I never reviewed to be fair to some of the very kind people who worked there. To be fair the inside is nicely renovated. However, people must be warned. This place is a mess. Only one person was ahead of me, and yet it still took 7-8 minutes for someone to take my order. The price varied from what was on the screen, so the lady showed me a piece of paper behind the register. Well, your advertised price matters, not what you hide behind the register. My associate ordered a tuna melt. Me a roast beef wrap. 10 minutes later, the food surfaced. I immediately opened mine finding they did not give me the cole slaw i ordered. This prompted the receiver of the melt to check her order, she found tuna globbed on rye....no melt. I requested my coleslaw and was handed a scoop of clearly Sams club quality grossness. The type you buy in a five gallon bucket. The kitchen worker combated to my associate "this is a tuna melt, do you want something different" A simple google image search of tuna melt will show that usually some broiling or frying is necessary to be considered a tuna melt. Eventually, she figured out to just brown the bread on the grill. Additionally, the cooking staff was answering phones, handling the register, bringing out food, stocking shelves all without replacing gloves. Why even wear them? gross. Upon eating my wrap, i found celery and carrots hidden inside....WTF? I don't discriminate against the two, but would much rather they stay in my chicken soup than roast beef cheddar wrap. it took about 25 minutes to get the food, which was of poor quality and taste and almost $9 for a wrap! My advice, subway is 3 minutes down the road and parking is easy. The food there will be of better quality, cheaper and way more convenient. To London cafe, if you want to succeed, reduce prices or give the customers something worth paying a premium for. Hire a shift supervisor who can manage and keep your staff working efficiently.

Place was very cute inside, but when we walked in (never having been there before) no one greeted us. We asked if we should just sit or if we needed to order at the counter. The guy who I guess was working there rudely said we could stand and eat if we wanted to, then continued to stock his cooler, feeling uncomfortable by his comment we left. Would not recommend.

I love this cafe bc it close and the people are vary friendly. One of the things I loved about the London cafe was Decore it packs a rustic look with bit and pieces of the history of the city it was name after. ALL IN ALL GOOD FOOD GREAT SERVICE.

What a great place for this part of Hartford! It's got a very warm gastro-pub feel to it. Dark woods with copper accents and exposed brick. I love it. This place was done right. I can't wait for the patio to be finished and enjoy a nice cup of Joe or lunch outside. I actually stumbled onto this place and decided to try it. BOOM!! I felt that warm, comfy feeling immediately upon entering the establishment. As if I've arrived. The patron who entered right before me, was greeted by name. That's what I'm talking about right there. Good things. Good things. I kept looking around because there's a lot to take it at first. I the opted for a chicken Caesar salad and a cup of coffee. Hey, I'm trying to lose few, don't judge me. The salad was good not great. A basic Caesar. I would get it again though . The coffee was pretty tasty. I enjoyed a Jamaican blend which had a nice after taste. As I write this, I wish I had another cup. The prices are all very reasonable and this spot has great potential to be around a long time. I look forward to going back and trying real food when Im not counting carbs.

Great little gem with plenty of parking. Coffee was delicious and a nice bacon egg and cheese started my day off right! The decor is clean and well done. I was so impressed to find this great new place which has been a perfect location for breakfast and lunch business meetings! Another location Downtown would be priceless!

Beautiful decor and excellent food! It does take about 10-15 minutes after ordering to get food but coffee/tea is made instantly almost all of the time. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap with curly fries my most recent time in and it was delicious. My order was a good portion for the price and very tasteful on the tongue.

I work somewhat near this cafe and I randomly decided to try it for lunch one day after a quick google search. I am very glad that I did. For starters, it has ample parking, which is very convenient when you are making a quick drive during lunch break. Other delis in downtown Hartford aren't really places you can drive to. From the outside, it seems clean but unassuming. But the decor inside is pretty cool, having that hipster vibe that comes with attempting to gentrify areas. This part of Hartford definitely needs it though, since it is somewhat of a down-trodden area. I ordered an italian grinder. It was above average. I also order a red velvet muffin which was fresh and delicious. The service as friendly and quick. The price was average, exactly what you'd expect. My my complaint is that, like many places in Hartford, this place shuts down in the evenings/weekends. But if you are around during the day, give this place a try.

Wonderful atmosphere, pleasant staff, and prompt service. I had the Big Ben breakfast and was not disappointed. The bacon was perfectly crisp but not greasy, the eggs were cooked to my liking, and home fries were out of this world. Will return.
