They were prompt and helpful. In and out in 25 minutes. Would use them again. When we did the walk around, the man who handled that part of the process pointed out the known defects. His part of the paperwork was done.

Do not recommend - Prices may seem good but customer service is not - If you have to talk to customer service, you are sent to customer service located in the Phillipines. Customer service is not friendly and hard to understand.

Big Sorry cause not have the type of car I booked for Offered me a convertible first at 286$ extra Called the manager and cancelled convertible for a Toundra Pick up at same 286$ extra.... I needed a SUV for my work ( to put my stuff in a trunk secured Day after ; returned the car in Fort Myers and asked a refund for the remaining of location ( had to send ny request to customer service via email ) Declined because I had a contract for 6 days .... They are the ones that did not fulfilled the contract .... On top of it .... ..... received 2 emails in 2 days ...They tried to make me pay for 2 scratchs Lucky my : I had a video before leaving SIXT Fort Lauderdale Im renting cars roughly 5-7 a year ... Im 57 years old Worst experience ever .... Good luck with them !!!! And make sure to take a video before driving your cat

This Car Rental Business is a One of the Terrible places to do business with. No Shuttle Service from the Airport. Highly recommend not using this company.

Worst experience ever with a rental car. Valeska Williams, branch manager, and Minhas Muhammad, assistant manager, are rude, inconsiderate, lazy, and unhelpful. The company will continue charges for months after the rental with no communication and no reason shared. When asked for clarification after the fifth or sixth charge, both responded with seeming disgust that I would even ask a simple question. On top of all that ridiculousness, the assistant manager threatened to take this to court. All this was over a $17 payment (payment number 6, mind you, after making hundreds of dollars of payments thus far). If you want peace of mind, go elsewhere. Anywhere. Take a bus or a train. Hitchhike. Walk. Avoid SIXT in Hartford. If corporate offices are listening, please come get your girl Valeska and your boy Minhas. They should know better and do better.

My arrival in Orlando was at 9:30 AM. When I ordered a car from Sixt to pick up at the airport in Orlando, there was a sign outside to wait for pick up. It took me a while to discover that there was a desk inside the airport for pick up. By the time I found the pick up area, it was after 10:00. I was told at the desk that the order was in for a 930am. pick up and a 10 o'clock am same-day return. No matter what I said to them, because it was clearly an error, they charged me over $800 for the half hour in which I never even got the car. I would never recommend this awful place to anyone. There is no way of giving less than one star, but it really deserves a negative 20 stars. The staff was rude and unreasonable.

I will never rent a car from this company again. First off - advertising was a bit misleading. IT IS NOT at the airport - read all the fine print, you have to take a shuttle. When I took the car out, agent said we check our cars very before leasing out and as I was walking around the car to check it out, he said it wasn't really necessary. When I brought the car back there was a teeny scratch - looked as if someone had run a coin against it - about 5 inches at most. As I had not looked carefully prior to taking the car, I couldn't tell you whether it was there or not. They charged $611 which is absurd - it could have easily been buffed out. They also noted that the car came back heavily soiled, inside and out - complete fabrication. I will NEVER rent from them again..I don't care how good their rates are.

Needed a 16 passenger van for one night for a bachelorette party. First time using Sixt since it was the only rental place in the Hartford area with a 16 passenger van (only found 12 passenger vans elsewhere). Was very happy with rate I got after signing up for their Sixt Club - only $180 after all the fees. Only complaint was trying to modify the pick-up time. I was not able to modify it online without the rate going up significantly. Tried calling, but the phone tree options kept telling me to use the web site and hanging up, which was really frustrating. Finally reached a live person, and they were able to move my pickup time 4 hours earlier without a rate change, which I appreciateiated. Also appreciated the manager letting up bring it back 1 hour later when we asked about doing so at pickup time. Van was clean and in great condition. Easy pick up and drop off.

This place deserves LESS then one star!! So much hidden fees. Tells me when I arrive I just need to pay $560. Ended up paying a little over a $1,000. Called customer service that gave me some B.S. excuses. I wondered why there was no line at there counter when I arrived but every other car rental counter was busy & now I know why!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

This place is awful. I called to get some information because my car overheated and I had an event to go to the next day. I was spoken to in a rude manner for no reason and was told harshly to cancel my reservation because I wasn't sure if I could get a pay stub in time because they needed one for some reason. Maybe they did me a favor for all the money gouging ways I have been reading about this place
