We may have caught it on a down day, but seems like it has great potential to be a fun spot! Plenty of food options and games to go around, and a decent selection of drinks. The frozen drinks looked good but we didn't have the opportunity to try any! A bunch of cool spots to hang out in here too, and this photo is taken from the top of a bus on the property!

The ambiance is great. The view from the sky bar is perfect for a date night. We had food from curbside food truck and it was okay. (There was only two food truck options on the day i went. I don't know if it was because I went during the work week). The drinks from the sky bar really lack flavor and liquor. However, it was frozen and I'm all for frozen drinks so thats where my bias lies. In terms of service, the bar owner and the food truck owners were very friendly and respectful. We were a bit indecisive and took a while to decide what we wanted but they were patient with us. There's games there that your kids can play and they have free movie nights on different days (fyi just check there ig info to know what's happening on the day you want to go). Overall its an experience worth having!

"When the girls get easy and the crowds are gone I'm way deep into nothing special Riding the crest of a wave breaking Just West of Hollywood" (Steely Dan) We visited Westside for the first time yesterday, and arrived 1:00. We were the only customers there! I had seen on-line that three food trucks would be present, but there were just two -The Gulla Grille (Brazilian) and Taste of Home (Puerto Rican). Aunties Pasta (Italian) wasn't there. The designers of Westside really need to get a lot of credit for the beautiful job they did in salvaging this forlorn corner of Hartford. The dozens of wood tables and benches were made from old recycled industrial spools, and they are really amazing. There are corn hole boards, beer pong table, Giant Jenga, Connect Four, a movie screen, a music stage, and a bar spread throughout the property so there's a ton of things to do there. I had a kebab plate from Gulla and my wife had a cheeseburger from Taste of Home. She was given one of those buzzing gizmos to tell her when her food was ready. I knew my lunch was ready when the guy flagged me down like he was hailing a cab. I love the concept of food truck courts and I suspect Westside is quite a bit busier in the evenings that it was lunch time on a holiday weekend Saturday, when we had the place to ourselves..

Westside Square is Hartford's new Food Truck Park on Farmington Ave in the West End. I visited with a couple of Yelp friends early Friday afternoon for lunch. There were two food trucks (Auntie Pasta's and Tacos Locos), but there seemed to be space for about five trucks. There's also dedicated space for a bar, which I believe is open during reasonable bar hours. There's plenty of tables. And whether you like to be in the sun, or shade, Westside Square has you covered, or not. See what I did there? The Park is built for interactive fun. Corn hole. Ping pong tables. Oversized Jenga and Connect Four. There's a stage for live music, and a screen for outside movie nights. It's a cool addition to an area that already has numerous great businesses such as Half Door, Monte Alban, Tangiers and Tisane. Westside is open Wed through Sunday for lunch through dinner. In my experience, they usually post the schedule of Food Trucks on their Instagram page shortly before lunch time. Our group sampled food from both trucks. Pasta with vodka sauce, Caprese and tiramisu from Auntie Pasta's, and tacos, street corn, nachos and churros from Tacos Locos. We had a good time hanging out in the park and trying the food. Lots of good stuff there, and the options may change every visit. It looks like Westside Square is off to a great start and will play an important role in the Community. I look forward to seeing its continued growth. Five Stars

A well kept secret that needs to get the word out! Stopped by Sunday on a nice Spring day and the live music was playing, food trucks were serving and couples and families were taking it all in and playing games to boot! Ping pong, pool and Cornhole all free. There were 1/2 dozen food trucks with Chowderpot (miss that place), Tacos and more. Even a neat booth from Stonington selling paint splattered clothing. The ambiance was excellent and fun and with some younger children a totally family friendly environment. We stumbled across the venue although read about it in The Hartford Courant during their struggles to get going. Now that it's live and rockin they need to get the word out about this cool little family friendly oasis just minutes from Downtown right on Farmington AVe.!

It's a great local spot downtown that me and my family enjoyed. We ordered our food and ate on the roof of the bar bus. I wish more of the food trucks were open when we went but it was late that night.

My first time here! Very fun spot! I met one of the owners- Rebeca and she was awesome. She was selecting the music being played and overseeing the park. There's a covered pergola, food trucks and their fence is made of recycled windows. Very cool looking. Also the tables and chairs are super cool too. They were made by Quan- the other owner and Rebeca's husband. They are open Wednesday through Sunday. They are dog friendly too! There's a stage and they also have live music on certain nights. I even saw a movie screen for movies. Giant Jenga and Connect Four too! Today's trucks were Auntie's Pasta and Tacos Locos. I went with Tacos Locos and tried their Nachos with mixed cheese, pico, sour cream, and lettuce. I added chicken. These nachos were awesome and loved how large they were. I also ordered the Street Corn special and the Churros Bites! Both were delicious too! Love that a food truck park is now in Hartford. Definitely support and check them out!

Been waiting for this food truck park to open for a long time. This is really good for the Farmington road area in Hartford. They have all sorts of activities, live music, and food trucks. Plenty of seating and a good variety of food trucks. Three rotating trucks are here Wednesday thru Sunday. I'm happy they actually turned that empty lot into something good for the community.

Such a hidden gem tucked away in Hartford! Parking is a little tricky because it's street parking but I've always been able to find a spot! I went on Friday and Saturday night for their live music, food trucks, and apple cider margaritas! 10/10! ABSOLUTELY will be back for more! A great place for people to come and have a great time, play games, listen to live music and have a great time. There were many food trucks there and the drink were good. Will definitely return when it's warmer Street parking
