TL;DR: This location consistently fails to have vehicles ready at scheduled pick-up times. I've made two separate reservations at the West Hartford Enterprise and both times, there was no car ready when I arrived. What's the point of making a reservation if they can't honor it? On one occasion, they gave me a smaller vehicle than what I booked -- and they did provide a rate adjustment. Although the workers are nice, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I won't be booking from Enterprise, especially this location again.

I tried to do a rental through another company but it didn't work out. I booked a rental for next day but called and they said I could come in and get a car same day. The manager was great, got everyone in and out as quick as possible, and even managed to get me into an upgrade for no extra cost. I will definitely rent from here again

My car was stolen so I had to get a rental for over a month. These guys really took care of me and provided outstanding customer service! They even gave me a discount on my rental! Everyone was so friendly and pleasant! Just a great place!

They used to be a good branch until I rented a vehicle and had a issue I've been waiting for them to correct their error I've contacted everyone I can... still no resolve I depend on rentals I travel for work and unfortunately I've had to take my business else where (avis ) as a serial renter and a loyal customer I've definitely learned my lesson with enterprise getting any results has been to no avail so beware customer service here is bad . Awful experience! 08/18/17: I had a reservation for a mini van via Costco. I've always reserved via costco and this has never happened. I've also rented a mini van in the past from enterprise without a problem. At first the rep, Niki, said they didn't have one available. After expressing my displeasure she miraculously did find one, but that I had to have my own full coverage insurance before I could rent EVEN IF I BOUGHT THEIR INSURANCE. What kind of stupid rule is that?? I explained that I don't own a car and therefore didn't have insurance. I needed a mini van for moving stuff but was told that the biggest vehicle I could rent was a full-size sedan. Unbelievable. After calling customer service they connected me to the 4 Weston location where they had reasonable people and gave me a mini van without a fuss! UPDATE: Manager Thomas E. Harkins emailed me on Aug 28, 2017: "Pam - again my apologies please save my contact information and I can set up a reservation for you on the house anywhere in the country." Empty promise. When I took him up on his offer I got no reply to my email and voice mail. Oh well. I guess this really shows how this Enterprise location is run.

One of the best enterprise locations I've been to; kudos to the staff(Zoe) for being super helpful. Was driving to Boston from NYC - it was raining heavily, met with an accident on the Interstate and needed a vehicle an hour before all the Hartford locations closed - this was the only location that went above and beyond to ensure I was helped. Would have been a nightmare otherwise, given Covid. 5-stars & beyond to Zoe and this location, thank you!

This was not a good experience. First, we showed up to be told there was no SUVs of which we had booked a month in advance. We were told all they could give us was a Jeep Wrangler for a 16 hour drive! In the meantime a gentleman who just walked in with his suitcase with no booking was given an SUV, which made no sense. After waiting an hour, we asked to speak to the person in charge. He arranged for my husband to take an Uber to Bradley airport to pickup an SUV. This put us behind schedule 2 plus hours. Even though we were comped the Uber fee plus a tank of gas, I would never rent from them again. There needs to be a better system that when you book a car, they actually have a car on the lot. Very poor system!

There used to be a time where you got what you paid for. These days, we're expected to pay our hard earned money and accuept whatever crappy service we get. This is why I like National. With my Emerald Club status, I just get in the CLEAN car OF MY CHOICE and go, bypassing the condescension of the overworked, poorly trained staff or the half washed dripping wet vehicle that I'm not even given the option of paying more to be cleaned properly. The new paradigm of poor service is ubiquitous, which is why I will take my business elsewhere.
