We tried the food truck on Jefferson Avenue, we did not know what to pick off the menu, was offered no help on what to decide on. Basically went off on pictures that were posted on Instagram. We ordered 3 steak tacos-- the meat was a bit chewy but the little potatoes it came with were good. The chicken bowl-- could of used better seasoning wasn't a fan of the sour cream the meal also came with crispy chips and some dipping sauces drinks we sold out for dinner time. I gave this 4 stars, greeting wasn't friendly and sold out drinks

Food was a 5 out of 5 Service was excellent! Ambiance was really nice! If you come here just don't be in a rush because you will wait! The food is amazing for a reason. I waited about 30 minutes for my food and it was worth every second. I did have a big order!

I don't normally review food businesses when I don't eat the food, but every once in a while, I feel there's a service issue that should be noted so the business can think about their practices. I tried to order from Fuego Picante food truck at GastroPark for the first time because I thought it would be cool to highlight them on my Food Blog for National Burrito Day. I arrived and there was no line at the truck and no obvious backlog of people waiting for orders. I stood where you're supposed to order for about 7 Minutes before I walked away. In that time, I saw two people working on food in the truck and they both saw me. I couldn't say anything to either one of them because their order window was physically closed, but people were eating their food and they were obviously open. Neither person said anything to me in those 7 minutes. There was no sign to say they were temporarily closed. I finally left because I was on a workday lunch break and I had no idea what their intentions were. I understand that places get busy and can't do everything at once. But you've got to care enough about people who are trying to spend money with you to take 5 seconds to tell you what's up. Since they didn't, I went somewhere else. I'm not going to give fewer than 3 Stars since I didn't have their food, but I'm unlikely to make a special trip to visit Fuego Picante, especially on a workday lunch break.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! We had the best experience and the best food for an event with over 50 people. Omar went above and beyond for us and everyone raved about the food! I am so thankful I found this food truck. The food is fresh, tasty and big portions. We love good Mexican food and it is hard to find in New England. This truck offers many options of authentic Mexican food and drinks!

This is my favorite food truck of all time!! The food is so delicious!! They also have a restaurant!! The owner was so nice too! I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't !!

So I pulled up on the food truck and got there nice and early too. The Man in the truck greeted me and then even offered up some suggestions that I definitely took when it came down to his tacos. I mean, at the end of the day, you really can't go wrong with multiple options and so let us break them down. I need for you all to brace yourselves for a flavor fiesta at Fuego Picante! This food truck is like a culinary carnival on wheels and their tacos are the main event baby!! Let's start with the Pork Chorizo taco. It is like a spicy party in your mouth! Picture tender, juicy pork infused with chorizo spices, wrapped snugly in a warm tortilla blanket. One bite and you'll be doing the salsa with your taste buds. Up next, the steak and avocado taco. - a match made in taco heaven. Succulent slices of steak meet creamy avocado, creating a symphony of flavors that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. It's like biting into a flavor-packed love story. Then, prepare for a seafood sensation with the shrimp and avocado taco. Fresh, plump shrimp; mingling with creamy avocado and topped with zesty cilantro. A beach vacation for your mouth. Every bite is simply a wave. of deliciousness crashing over. your palate. Last but certainly not least, the Birria Taco!! A taco experience so epic, I'd practically legendary! Tender, slow cooked beef, nestled in a soft tortilla, served with a side of rich, savory birria dipping sauce. Nothing short of a flavor explosion that will have you coming back for more!! Needless to say, I will be back to try more for their menu is FUEGO!!!!

Have ordered Fuego Picante a couple times through the years and never disappointed by the food. This visit I ordered the birria tacos and was blown away! The price was a bit intimidating ($18) and the highest price point I've seen for birria, but these were stuffed with so much beef. More beef than you'd expect. If they weren't so good, I def would have regretted what we spent. The plantains were also incredible! Wish they came with something to dip them in though.

How much lobster would you expect to find in your three lobster tacos that you paid only $15 for? I was very surprised to find out that the answer was a boatload of lobster! Claws, knuckles, and meaty chunks seemed to populate every linear inch of my tacos from the East to the West border. They sat on a double layered corn tortilla with pico and all sorts of yummy goodness down there. Toss in some a full pickled jalapeno pepper, mini containers of green and fiery red salsa, refreshing radish and cucumber slices, and three lime wedges and you end up with a pretty amazing value of excellent food with a price you can't argue about. My wife's Lobster Quesadilla had a lot of lobster as well, and we both loved our food. We visited their food truck at the Gastro Park in West Hartford, and we had a half hour wait. The little buzzer thingy they gave us to return to the truck for pick up was a nice touch.

Our company has hired the Fuego Picante Food Truck multiple times now and will continue to do so in the future! The food is always fresh and delicious, and Omar and his team are professional and easy to work with. Huge hit with our shop guys - they are looking forward to the next time. And the serving portions are no joke!!

Fuego is some of the best food we've had in New England We set ourselves up for failure by exposing our daughter to their delicious quesadillas. Now she scoffs at any other quesadilla that isn't Fuego's. Their chorizo is incredible, their queso frito is unreal, and their piña colada (non alcoholic) is the the greatest one I've had in New England. We'd eat Fuego every day if we could.
