this place gave my 2 year old daughter food poising!!! food is either not fully cooked or cooked too long!! the male that works there always rushes the food to be done and the wife takes too long to cook!!!!!! not to mention the two workers are a couple and can't seem to keep their home business at home, they constantly argue in front of the customers as if we're not even here!!!! this place is top tier unprofessional, this place is horrible and i will be writing a complaint!!!

So, Pena is a cornerstore like most-- packed to the gills with short-need, disposable stuff ranging from snacks and juices/sodas, to boxes of instant foods and diapers, individual soaps and detergents, hair accessories, etc. I shoot pool at the bar next-door occasionally, and I actually look forward to doing so just so i can get a sandwich from Pena. What makes this Pena Market standout is the outstanding deli/fried foods counter. Their hoagies are out of this world-- huge, overflowing, delicious and C-H-E-A-P! My personal favorite is their Chicken Salad, savory with a touch of spice! Their fried foods are awesome and even though I generally don't like onion rings, I am compelled to get 12 for $1.50 every time I'm there (ashamedly, I am also compelled to eat them all in the ten feet between the cornerstore and the bar door). ***edit: 12/21/12 -- They make a Bacon Cheeseburger that is huge and delicious. Total bill, with a side of fries? $4.50. Amen. **** Pena's certainly isn't the kind of place to make me drive out to Upper Darby, but darn does it make having to shoot out there a million times more tolerable :)

I have been coming to this locations for years now. Loved it it has recently been taken over by new management it's a while new store still great prices & food. Excellent customer service. Definitely recommend.

Very nice little neighborhood food store. I live a couple of neighborhoods away but worth the trip here everytime. I get their breakfast which is made to order all day with real eggs and fresh ingredients. Wawa nor 7-11 can compare. It's an older building in need of an upgrade which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.
