I had heard how great blacksalt is and finally decided to give them a try. I was super happy to find out the hype was real. The oysters we got were fantastic, probably the best I’ve had in Maryland. The seafood stew was amazing, I wish I could have that every day. The broth is so flavorful, I highly recommend. The shrimp that was in my stew was the only negative, it didn’t taste right but everything else was so good I didn’t even care. For the main I got the soft shell crab which was so tasty and my husband got the crab cakes which he loved. We will definitely be back. Service was also great.

Outstanding seafood. They have the best and freshest seafood—we just came back from France and even the Michelin star restaurants we went to did not have scallops and sea bass this good. Our server Will made it a really great experience. Definitely worth the drive.

I came out with my family for happy hour exactly at 4 o'clock and was told that there was only one party ahead of us. It took more than an hour and twenty minutes to find us a table. When I confronted the manager about the wait time expectation not being Communicated properly,  he was very confrontational and rude,  telling me to take a seat and that the table was ready for us.  He was basically ordering me to sit down rather than listening to what I needed to communicate.  In addition,  when he brought the food,  his fingers were literally inside of my food,  covered with the green sauce. It was so bluntanat that I paused and looked at him.  He was about to walk away,  when I pointed out,  your fingers were in my food.  He got all very upset,  and threw the plate all over my dress and my seat.  No apology.  The other manager brought the rag to clean up the seat,  but not for my dress.  No apologies or offering dry cleaning for my FarmRio dress that's now ruined.  The salmon tart that was brought back to me was exactly the same one (we could tell by the pattern of the caviar) -- I was about to point it out,  but my teens were so hungry,  they could anything after waiting for 1.5 hours.  The tart was very oily,  dripping with fat,  and left a huge stain on my dress.
I have never had a more aggressive,  rude,  snobbish and unapologetic service. And even for a happy hour,  it's overpriced for the quality of fat-food service and oily food

I took my husband out for his birthday, and he was one fed and happy birthday man. The food was (a chef kiss). I mean SPECTACULAR in every sense. The service, our waiter, and the server were all amazing.

It's  not your typical instagramable spot, but it's what you get when a restaurant puts effort into their dishes and not just the aesthetic. 10/10 experience
