Solid restaurant with an interesting variety of tapas! Good but not exceptional.
We only ordered 2 plates per person, which was enough for us since they were on the heavier side (oily, cheesy, creamy). Personal favorites were the shrimp and fried eggplant- these were delicious but the others were just good.
Service was nice and the interior was beautiful (check out the bathroom if you go for a fun surprise!) Overall worth a shot but I wouldn’t go back- with that being said, the menu is quite large so there’s lots to try if you do.

On a quest to try all of Jose Andres restaurants in DC. This place was great. Welcoming and inviting. Staff was amazing and friendly. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Food was great, there were a few dishes that I probably not eat on my next visit. Wines were really good.

Had my first visit today to Jaleo for a business lunch. We had an 11:30 reservation.  We were greeted and  seated right away. Restaurant is super trendy,beautiful decor and comfortable seating. Food was great. We tried about 8 different tapas and they were all super tasty. Presentation is excellent.  Food was very good. Sorbet for dessert was fantastic.

Service for me is why i did not give the restaurant a 5. Staff need more training on how to make guests feel at home when at your restaurant.  Our server i felt, rushed us the entire time we were there. Rushed our  food orders as well as bringing the bill. Not even a window for me to order coffee...At the 1 hour and 15 minute mark into our meal (while we were eating dessert) he came to our table and told us he needed our table. We found it quite rude as well as a  neighboring table who were enjoying their meal as well. Quite shocking. He came back a second time a few minutes later. We got up and left - but i must say, did not feel warm and welcome at all. Just eat and leave is what i felt he wanted us to do to move on to the next tip. Disappointing

Atmosphere is great. There is a ton of space in the restaurant to accommodate more people. Went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed with people. The vibes of the restaurant is great. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food is flavorful and hits the mark!! The cocktails are delicious and different and it’s great to see such menu items available. The seasonal fried Brussel sprouts were so good!!

Recommended by my friend who lives in DC. So here am I.
Very busy, but I walked-in alone and got to take the last seat by the bar. Staffs are friendly at the beginning.
I tried the classics tasting menu, and it went crazy. They are very generous in terms of trying to feed me with around 10 dishes, I had to stop in the middle, feeling a bit sad that I did not get to taste all LOL.
I love their Endive with goat cheese, Shrimp and Flan. But I won’t say it’s a must-try restaurant.
