This is more Thai influenced than any of the other cultures. The skewers looked fun but came a little colder than expected. The mango salad was delicious and is apparently their most popular salad dish as well. The rest of the dishes are large portions so if you’re hungry, this is a good spot. We only went inside because the man near the gate recommended we just go inside, otherwise we were headed to a different restaurant!

At first glance, the restaurant looked very nice and upbeat. The decor is gorgeous honestly, and the ambience is nice. But that’s pretty much the only good things I can say about it.
Coming into the restaurant, I asked the hostess for a table for 7. She left and when she came back all she said was “you guys can go ahead and sit down” without even directing us to what table we were actually supposed to sit at. And since we were a party of 7, we were immediately given the “chefs sharing menu” which made us think we had to order from that menu and not the individual one. That was fine though, no problem until we found out after our order was taken that we could have actually ordered from just the regular menu and not the “chefs special sharing menu” (2 apps and 2 main course + dessert for $55/person)
When it comes to the food, the calamari and lumpia were decent. No complaints. But the main course was absolutely such an awful let down for a place that’s apparently Michelin Recognized. The wagyu steak fried rice was dry. The crab cake was disgusting. We did not taste one lick of crab at all. And it was mushy. The redeeming part for the main course was literally just the brussel sprouts that were supposed to compliment the crab cakes but became the only saving grace for the main. Then finally, dessert. We were told that our order of lava cake was unavailable now and had to stick with the cheesecake. When the cheesecake came out, 4 of the cheesecake rounds had the bottom crust on it and 2 of them were just the cheese filling with whipped cream and sprinkles on top..

And to add to all this, in all my years of dining in restaurants, I have never had to “help” the waitress pick up our plates and stack it for them???? I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and I’ve NEVER made my customers help me by stacking the plates and handing it to me. If they want to that’s fine but I had never asked them. I am so utterly disappointed in this restaurant and will never eat here again and will never recommend to anyone.

This restaurant needs to hire better servers and hostess and chefs.

We dined our dinner here. We tried varieties of their dishes and cocktails.

The cocktails were overall tasty and offered a unique experience. They offered traditional cocktails such as Old Fashioned and Mai Thai as well as something exotic like Gracias Pancho.

The food was overall a hit or miss. The skewers looked and smelled amazing, but tasted mostly burnt. Chicken Thai fried rice was outrageously salty. The fish and Crab & Shrimp curry were uniquely delicious.

We had our reservation, but it seemed like it wasn’t needed for the most part as we saw plenty of open seats. That said, this may have more to do with staffing issues - there was a line for guests to be seated, but simply not enough staff to greet them. Also, our food came out extremely late due to an event that was hosted. Luckily, our waitress was aware of this and offered us an additional entree without charge, which contributed greatly to our overall positive experience.

Michelin Gourmand recognized. We found Kaliwa to live up to expectations. The food was  tasty, flavorful, and well executed. Service was attentive, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Great vibe. It was a great night to sit outside on the patio. We had the East West Jumbo Buffalo Shrimp, Wood Fired Steak Skewers, Truffle Fries, and the Filipino Mango Salad. Excellent choice for a night out

Love this place! Their whole fish with sauce. Their chicken dumplings, the snapper, fried rice, it’s all good. Been several times and service etc… is good.

Om jag kunde ge noll skulle jag. Servicen var hemsk. Varenda rätt vi beställde inklusive förrätter kom på en gång. Maten var hemsk och otroligt dyr. Till exempel min kvartskyckling Thai stil var billig friterad kyckling med lite söt sås bredvid. Chefen kunde inte bry sig mindre

Anlände och fick höra 15 minuters väntan och vi skulle få ett sms, aldrig fått men vi hittade sittplatser vid ytterräcket och beställde 2 öl. Bredvid oss såldes grillen med spett till alla som gick förbi så vi beställde 3 . Alla som gick kunde gå upp och köpa ett spett men vi fick vänta 45 minuter på våra 3 spett! Galet. Vi betalade och gick. Gick till Hanks för att äta. När jag gick på toaletten märkte jag drinkar som satt i baren och serveringspersonalen grälade med kocken. Det här stället är kaos. Spetten var mycket bra men $ 8 liten liten förrätt storlek. Servitören bad om ursäkt och tog inte betalt för vår mat. För många andra alternativ när man äter vid kajen.

Åt middag för två. Först verkade det som om det skulle bli en trevlig upplevelse. De var hjälpsamma med beställning och fick våra drycker (vatten och ginger ale). Sen gick allt utför. Fick maten. Kyckling satay var feta kycklinglår: gurksallad var vissen sallad med 4 små kuber gurka och de smutsiga ändarna av salladen; räkor och räkor och krabba curry var fylld med skal; riset var hårt, inte krispigt och nästan kallt. Inte en gång kom servern för att ta hand om oss och vi hade aldrig vårt vatten påfyllt. Efter att äntligen ha flaggat ner någon för checken insåg hon att jag inte hade ätit något av min satay och frågade om jag ville ha något annat... vi hade redan varit där länge sedan och ville ha något annat. Hon blev lite snäsig när jag sa att jag inte gillade det, sen tog det lång tid att ta med checken. Sedan tog hon med fel check, någon annans. Slutligen kunde vi betala och lämna. Spara era magar och undvik!

Dyr subpar mat med små portioner. Serveringspersonalen var mer intresserad av att flirta med sin chef än att se vårt bord. Också ett ton av myggor inuti.

Hade en underbar tid här. Maten och servicen var fantastisk. Lumpia och Adobo var på rätt spår. Du måste prova Dumplings också!

Besökte kajområdet under semestern i Washington. Massor av val för lunch runt där och vi kände att vi gjorde ett dåligt beslut att komma hit. 
Tre av oss hade Pad Thai som vi brukar älska det på andra thailändska restauranger. Det var väldigt, väldigt oljigt. Kycklingen var små, fyrkantiga kuber av till stor del mörkt kött som smakade som om den kom ur en billig, fryst påse. Min son bad om ”inga böngroddar” i sin - servern hade ingen aning om vad de var, kollade menyn och sa att det inte fanns några i den. Det dök naturligtvis upp inklusive böngroddar. Också mycket dyrt för en nedslående lunch - cirka $ 160 för fyra av oss - och vi hade bara en huvud och läsk vardera.

Bra läge och bra service. Vi kunde inte ha bett om en bitter servitör. Det är de 2 stjärnorna. 
Maten var varken thailändsk, koreansk eller filippinsk och inte heller någon form av fusion. Eftersom det saknade autentisk smak gick vi bara för välbekanta klingande livsmedel. Dessutom fanns det ingen guide för hur många paprika vi ville ha, ingen fisksås bara butik köpte varma såser. Till förrätt beställde vi vårrullar med lumpia som var god, calamari - som var så torr och smaklös, och blomkålen som var okej. Huvudrätten var bred nudel, räk- och krabbcurry och biff. Inget att skriva hem om. Vi åkte utan dessert. Platsen är stor och väl upplyst och vackert inredda men jag skulle inte gå tillbaka igen.

Vi åt lite god mat här en lördagskväll i maj. Vi gick bara upp, men vi har tur att de hade ett bord som det var upptagen, så jag skulle rekommendera att boka om du kan. Vi åt vingar och calamari till förrätt, som var riktigt goda, och den gröna thaicurryn var god också. Jag hade fisken.

Fruktansvärd filippinsk mat. Som filippinare blev jag själv djupt förolämpad över hur de filippinska rätterna som jag beställde smakade. 

Grillad Kyckling/Inasal - Köttet var torrt och smaken var dålig. 

Calamares - Lite salt var jag tvungen att be om en doppsås. 

Adobo - Menyn anger kyckling men jag serverades med fläsk och till min förfäran var köttet inte mört. Jag antar att de får kött direkt från frysen. 

Lumpiang Shanghai - Ätbart. Bara bra. 

Jag tycker att ägaren bör re - utvärdera sina filippinska rätter.

Hemsk upplevelse från början till slut. Vid ankomsten, 4 personal pratade sinsemellan tills vi frågade om vi kunde äta. Servicen var bara udda ... maten kom ut vid olika tidpunkter och var fel. Vi fick en räkdyna Thai och fick höra av servern att det definitivt var kyckling! Var tvungen att fråga flera gånger om rätt måltider och vid inget tillfälle erkände någon av personalen att det tog evigheter eller var fel. När det gäller maten - udda, smaklös och intetsägande. Också mycket dyrt. Gör dig själv en tjänst och undvik till varje pris.

Jag läste mycket bra recensioner för denna restaurang så jag ser fram emot att äta där. Min man och jag blev båda låta ned. Först är priserna mycket höga för delarna. De rekommenderar 2 - 3 rätter per person. Många rätter är över $ 20 till $ 30 vardera. Vinlistan är löjligt dyr. Det enda glaset Chardonnay till exempel är $ 17! De flesta flaskor var $ 65 - över $ 100. Vi erbjöds att prata med sommelieren men han dykte aldrig upp.
Menyn är mycket begränsad och många av rätterna är antingen stekt eller har kokosmjölk eller har samma ingredienser (som fläskmage är) och de flesta är totalt sett mycket höga kalorier. Det var ingen grillad eller stekt mat. Vi beställde bräserad nötkött och det var så fett att vi returnerade det. Det var oätligt.
Vilken svik. Kommer aldrig tillbaka.

Rolig, innovativ meny från en blandning av kök. Små delar att dela tapas - stil. Nya blandningar och smaker. Terrass på gågatan var mycket trevlig.
