Our first ever Michelin star restaurant experience and it did not disappoint our anniversary special dinner date!
The service here was excellent, as you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. The food was even better. Loved their unique cocktails menu and the presentation.

Rania was my first Michelin Star experience of 2025, and my friend's first experience to a nice dinner out. It did not disappoint.

Reservations were a breeze to make online, and I opted for the chefs tasting. Would highly recommend getting the 7 course meal. But be warned. Come hungry. It is/was a lot of food.

The service here was excellent, as you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. The food was even better. The chef was also gracious enough to accommodate my dairy issues.  He made sure to come up with some creative off menu items sans milk.

If you are ever in DC and would like to have some unqiue upscale Indian make sure to stop into Rania.  Your taste buds will thank you.

What a beautiful surprise. We visited DC from LA and we'd love to take this restaurant with us. All the food is so creative and amazing, somehow keeps the authentic flavor. We enjoyed every course. Happy to visit again when we are around.

For the second year in a row I brought friends for a holiday dinner to Rania and had an incredible experience! We selected the $90 four course menu and each loved all of our dishes! The standouts were definitely anything with lamb. There were lots of options for pescatarians and vegetarians.

Don’t skip on their cocktails if you’re drinking! They all come out in fun, theatrical ways with big flavors and textures to match. If I worked downtown I’d bring clients here all of the time!

Quite distinctly one of the best Indian restaurants in the downtown DC area. Each item that we ordered was not only delicious and well balanced, but also nicely presented on the plate and served by very knowledgeable servers.
