We had a wonderful time enjoying our meal at Ponte. Situated in a great location in Tampa, the place did not disappoint. We were very impressed with the portion sizes for the price.

The new American cuisine was great and there were many good options. Very familiar items for a solid price. The Parker house rolls were incredible, as was the free bread service. The scallop carpaccio was the dish of the night, very flavorful dish that was unlike anything I’ve had. The burrata dish was refreshing and the balsamic caviar was inventive and fun. The short rib was a little underwhelming, other than that we were satisfied with our experience.

The sides were larger than the main courses, splitting an entree and sharing sides is the way to go. Google has this as $$$$ which is a bit misleading, the prices were decent for the quality and size you get.

What an incredible experience. Food was incredible. Service was exceptional. Joe was our server, he was attentive, friendly and a top notch professional. Chef Jeremy was gracious enough to invite us to tour the kitchen and present my husband with a birthday gift dessert box. The valet was ticketless and easy to use. After calling ahead the hostess was also able to accommodate our reservation for 30 minutes earlier. My husband will definitely have an awesome memory of his 44th birthday. Thank you to the entire staff at Ponte. Each and everyone of you are incredible.

The bread service featured an assortment of freshly baked options that were simply irresistible.

For the mains, the Beef Wellington stole the show with its tender, perfectly cooked beef wrapped in a flaky, golden pastry. The Wagyu steak was equally outstanding, cooked to perfection and so tender it melted in our mouths. Very elegant Michelin star restaurant in the heart of midtown Tampa. This was the first time I’ve been to midtown as a 20+ year resident.  The restaurant is well designed and for a moment it doesn’t even feel like you’re in Florida. The service was excellent I wish I had the waiters name but we shared the same hairstyle and glasses. The food was just as classy and carrot cake is my favorite. The deconstructed carrot cake was different for me but I get it. Will go again. Came here for our 26th wedding anniversary.

Went with my wife for early dinner at 6pm and the place had a real nice ambience. The server Steve was very attentive and professional and went over all the specials in detail. We had the risotto and ceviche for appetizers and they were amazing. My wife ordered the Beef Wellington and I ordered the braised short rib, and did not disappoint either. For dessert we had the passion fruit tart, and it had a real good balance of flavors. The cocktails were also on point, and the quality of service was top notch from the whole staff. We are definitely going back and will be bringing friends and family.
