- Somebody's Grandma Was in That Kitchen! Listen... this chicken was poppin' hot when I got it. I ordered a flavor I can't remember or pronounce -- something like "Gangoe" or "Gango-wow," whatever it was, it slapped! Sticky, spicy, crunchy -- just a full-on flavor party. Now the fries? Oh, baby. When I say they serve the good fries, I mean the ones that make you side-eye other restaurants. Perfect crunch outside, soft and steamy inside. You might need a pinch of salt, but trust me -- they're fry royalty. My daughter had the cheese fries, and she didn't share, so that tells you everything you need to know. For $22, I'm not mad at all. Missed the lunch special (my fault), but I got the small wings and fries. "Small" where? Because I've been eating off this plate for two days and still have fries and two wings left. The fries could feed four people easy, and those wings are Publix-sized -- not those baby bird ones. Bottom line -- this spot is worth it. Go ahead, grab your food, shop around, maybe pick up a pastry or two while you wait. Just don't burn your mouth trying to eat it in the parking lot... ask me how I know.

I don't know what kind of magic they're working in that kitchen, but this is some of the crispiest, juiciest, most flavorful chicken I've had in a long time. And I'm picky. You can taste the difference in the quality of the chicken and how it's fried. It's not overly greasy, and every bite has that satisfying crunch. Honestly, I'd drive across town just for this. If you're thinking about trying them--do it. If you've already been--you get it. Either way... those wings are 100% worth the hype.

Found a new (newer) Asian market place. This Korean fried chicken market within Lotte Plaza looked interesting so we stepped up and ordered two types of fried chicken. My wife had the soy garlic boneless chicken and rice, small, $16.90. I had a combo Golden Original Boneless, $13.95. With tax and tip they included the bill was $37.68. Adequate amount of food. Well flavored and enough left over to bring home. A definite do again The only reason for the four out of five is the eating area. A bit chaotic and shared with four other food vendors
