We splurged for the sweet, its not worth it. The TV is in an awkward position, the room was small for the two of us. There's a pull out couch, and extra sheets and pillows. NO HOT TUB and it DOES NOT include breakfast, on the weekends you can purchase at breakfast for 14 per person. Every other day the maid will clean your room, maybe. Whoever ours was, used the toilet and didn't flush causing the smell to linger. They took the trash out and left some coffee cups. The lobby area is nice with a mini Starbucks and a small Bar and a big TV room. Outside you'll find the pool and an awkward square 1 hole putting mate, where the hot tub used to be. We probably wouldn't choose this next time we go outta town. The price compared to other chains really isn't worth it.

Very nice property - clean, modern, very friendly staff. Easy access right off of I-95 which is why we stayed here on our way to southern Florida. Breakfast is not included but there is a bistro in the lobby where you can order basic items. This bistro also has a bar that stays open until 10pm and it was nice to come in from dinner and get a drink to take up to the room. One thing to note - this hotel is next door to a hospital and my window overlooked the ER entrance. I was worried that I would hear sirens all night but I didn't remember any other reviews having an issue and neither did I. And if you are staying here on your way to another location, you will be glad you stayed on THIS side of Jacksonville so when you're leaving in the morning, the majority of rush hour traffic is behind you!

This particular Courtyard by Marriot is pretty convenient as it is just off of Interstate 95. They have ample parking and a nice bar/bistro in the lobby, which made it convenient as there were not a lot of dining options on this side of Interstate 95. The only thing within walking distance was an Applebee's. The room was nice and the staff both upon check-in and check-out were extremely friendly, professional and attentive. Other perks at this hotel include a fitness center and a pool. All in all, I would definitely recommend this Courtyard by Marriot if you find yourself in this part of the world and need a place to hang your head.

I'm reviewing this from the perspective of a German Shepherd owner. Max came with me on this trip because this location is VERY dog friendly! If you're bringing your dog, you will want to stay here. Decent area to walk your dog, other dog owners staying here, decent staircase if you want to avoid awkward elevator convos about your dog, you know what I mean right? Not here. I felt comfortable leaving Max for awhile to grab some breakfast. Anyhow I will definitely back so don't take all the rooms fellow dog owners lol! 5/5 all the way. Also as others noted the location is super convenient!

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM HERE! The old disrespectful man who works over night is the worst employee of any customer service business. Do not ever stay here. He cancelled our room after we had already called 6 hours prior to arrival. He did it because he said someone was waiting. I paid for the room and drove from over 6 hours away. He then proceeded to yell at my wife which I will not allow. He is rude and yelled and locked the door so we could even discuss anything. Refused to apologize even though he is the problem and caused the issues. Terrible experience and I will never stay here in the future. I would recommend you never stay here, unless you like to be disrespected by someone who claims to be in charge. To top it off Marriott corporate says they have to investigate before they can make anything right. So we asked how long that would be and they said at least 5 days. This is crazy from a company of this size. But this location has the worst employee of any business in hospitality.

I stayed here on a business trip for my job. Since they did all the arrangements, I'm unable to talk about the reservation process. Once there, however there apparently was an issue where the card where the reservation was made had to be present for me to be able to check in... though the hotel staff was more than kind and efficiently solved all through a call to my manager. The room was very nicely decorated with sculptures and paintings, everything was clean and comfortable, with a microwave, a mini fridge and a desk to work in. Service was also courteous and amicable. The included breakfast was a full warm breakfast. Not the best in history, but pretty good all the same. My only complaint is that the coffee was terrible, but that's a minor nitpick.

Meh- find a different spot until this is made over Stayed for the weekend, unfortunately no other options. Covid has hit the staffing for this place, it's an old hotel, needs to be upgraded / updated. Poor guy working alone on a Friday night with a line 10 families thick! Thank goodness for Marriott online check-in. The rooms are some of the smallest I have ever stayed in. The king bed takes up the entire room. We had 3 people, one on pull out twin, mini twin couch, BUT the hotel was out of pillows, pillow cases and blankets. So we made do with 2 sheets. The TV is poorly positioned, the room was musty and was smoked in at some point. Once that smoke is there, can't get rid of it. Asked to change rooms, to no avail. Offered to pay extra for a suite. None available. Manager was nice and comped 1 day. Bar is closed. Breakfast, they tried. It's unfortunate I'm not a fan of sausage.

The staff is kind. The location in Jacksonville is convenient. The rooms were a good size, beautifully decorated and beds were comfortable. I loved the seating area. That is about all I enjoyed. I booked a room with breakfast but was denied at my check in and there was a difference in rate. There was hair all over the bathroom and there was no bathroom fan so condensation lingered. The entrance/exit is inconvenient and traffic is very busy only in the right lane in the mornings making it difficult to leave. Plan extra time to get to your destination. The internet was poor and disconnected regularly. I anticipated shared noise but it was more than that on both sides. I travel for work and this is one of the poorer experiences I've had. I do not plan to return.

This Marriott was good. Not excellent and not bad. The room was clean and the desk staff very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed or asked for in a hotel for the night went off without a hitch. The location is farther from downtown Jacksonville than I thought but still served its purpose. There is no complimentary breakfast here, it's a buffet and costs $9.95. We didn't eat it so I can't respond to the quality of food. There is a Starbucks close by and for a late night snack and beer an Applebee's. The Applebee's has a large selection of draft beer. To sum it up, I can't complain about anything, we were satisfied.

The hotel and room was clean. The personnel were very respectful and polite. The housekeeping provided all we asked for. The room rate was very reasonable. I stayed here ten years ago, and remember the same.
