I usually rent from Avis/Budget where we have a cooperate account. Unfortunately none of the Avis/Budget locations had vehicles available. This is the first time I have used Hertz, so I don't know if this experience was typical. But it was not customer friendly. When I declined the additional insurance the agent's tone became demanding. It wasn't enough to provide the name of my insurance company, I had to call my agent to obtain policy information. It was a good thing that it was a weekday during normal business hours, I don't know what would have happened if my insurance agent's office wasn't open. I did not appreciate the extreme hard sell on purchasing additional insurance. I travel for work and rent vehicles very frequently. I know that my insurance covers a rental vehicle, and I also my American Express covers vehicle rentals. I refuse to be bullied into buying unnecessary insurance. After I firmly declined the insurance purchase the agent's tone became went into the parking lot and took photos of the vehicle I was renting. He took photos all around, all angles of the vehicle, all sides. He said he would send me the photos but I never received them. I definitely won't be renting from this Hertz location again.

Absolutely Horrible Apathetic Excuse for a car rental location. Hopefully my experience at this location is not indicative of Hertz as a company. Made a rental reservation for any available vehicle 1 hour before coming here. Walked in and was told they didn't have any vehicles. I asked if he could check with nearby locations and tell me where I could go pick up my vehicle. He told me that "He was not allowed to call other locations" "But that I could call and it was my responsibility" Absolutely infuriating Apathy. I completely understand that these situations can be difficult. But this guy didn't try at all to even pretend that he cared or try to help at all. Laziest Car rental rep I have ever seen!
