The check-in process was fast, and lots of parking was available. Dont get me wrong, you might walk far. Rooms were decent size, and the workers were all nice. Nice kitchenette, but we didn't use the facilities. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am - 9 am. Have your ticket ready as they will ask for it. Overall, it was great accommodations for an overnighter.

Hotel room was clean and spacious. We were able to bring our dog for a $25 p/day charge. We had two beds, a small sitting area, kitchen with full size fridge, cook top, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The bathroom came with quality products. Breakfast was excellent. A variety of cereals, fresh fruit (kiwi, grapefruit, etc.), breads, eggs, and more. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ample parking lot. It is across from the golf course and next to a small trail that leads to the RV park.

Pretty good service overall, I'm staying here over an extended period due to TDY. Had to switch rooms due to construction/remodeling which didn't bother me at all. Dropped something in a small crevice in my new room and when I went to fish it out I was greeted by a pair of old dirty panties.

First time here visiting my son on Naval base. My room was very clean and stocked with all necessities needed. Dishes, Pots, Pans, cups, glasses, silverware, complimentary water, the beds are comfortable and staff pleasant.. I've enjoyed my stay and will be back again

The room has a notably strong odor of mold. I approached the front desk to inquire if this was a common issue in other rooms. The staff member accompanied us to our room, acknowledged the smell, and used an air freshening spray, suggesting that it would improve the situation. Although our stay is only for one night, its very unpleasant and very frustrating

Nice lodge. We stayed here 2 nights to catch a military space-a flight. Staff was excellent, hotel is clean and has free breakfast. I would not recommend staying here without a vehicle. The base isn't very walkable to get around, very spread out. There is no rental car companies on base (the Enterprise is no longer here), no Ubers can get on, the taxi companies with base access that the front desk recommended did not answer or we're not available when I needed them and there is no shuttle service on base (except for patriot express flights, only on the day of the flight). The only food option is Mulligans restaurant at the golf course, which is not a far walk.

The Navy Lodge Jax is one of my places I stay when Im driving thru Florida. Its clean, safe, and has hot water. I have stayed at place in the past that literally run out. They have a kitchenette, free breakfast and Seattle's Best coffee in the room, which I love. Plenty of well lit parking. The cost is always reasonable compared to off base. The only issue I had was there was no air conditioner in the gym. I did report it, but the front desk didn't know how to turn on. Needless to say I worked out anyway in the heat. Not a lot of equipment but the treadmill got the job done. St Augustine and Fernandina beaches are a quick drive away. St Augustine is a gorgeous clean beach. I would stay here again if needed. All the staff were professional and nice.

The Navy Lodge is in a nice spot close to the St. John's River. Our suite was very large and clean. Jocelyn at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

Musty rooms, uncomfortable beds, a bathroom that had seen better days and a breakfast that was pretty sad. The washer and dryer were moldy and not being cleaned or disinfected for a long time. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Nestled in a quiet corner of base between the golf course and the rv park. Standard rooms ok for a several week stay with kitchenette ( w full size refri). Staff were very helpful with a lost item, they actually have a lpst and found tracking system! Fitness room a joke, they could do better with DRMO.
