Overpriced Small Portions!! I recently ate at this café 2 days in a row. Each time I went back I was deeply dissatisfied with the quality/quantity of food. I went down for a lunch meal deal, which was chicken, green beans with macaroni and cheese. They said I can only have one entrée and two sides. I disagreed that if I'm paying for the meal why not let me have a additional entrée for an up-charge? They said no you can only have one entrée, but if I'm willing to pay more for an entrée why are you telling me NO? My lunch cost me $13, too expensive for what you get at this place. Save a few buck and travel outside the hospital for a place that gives you more of what you ask for. They give you more food at the military galley/cafeteria on NAS Jax then this place does, Which really says a lot about this place is a whole. **Overall, low quantity overprices meals it was enough for me during my short Hospital stay of three days.

A cafeteria in a hospital. We aren't expecting greatness here, right? I have only eaten breakfast here, but I'm actually a fan. So much so, that honestly, if I lived on this part of town, I'd come here often to eat breakfast. Why? Well, it's really, really cheap and it's really good. Breakfast is served al a carte style and you get as much or as little as you like. You serve yourself and then take your food to the cashier to pay (hospital employees get a discount). For around $4, I can get two large scoops of scrambled eggs, a couple of links of sausage, a biscuit w/ gravy, and a small bowl of fruit. You can't even get a combo meal that cheap at a fast food joint. There are other hot items to choose from like breakfast potatoes and bacon. They also have cereals, oatmeal, etc. They have fountain drinks and bottles of both Coke and Pepsi products. If I ever happen to be in the hospital during lunch or dinner, I'll have to give it a try. i'll update if and when I do.

Food is great, but service at check out was horrible. The lady was rude and not welcoming. Good place for people that work at the hospital. Don't waste your time if you don't work there.

These people were so incredibly rude that we left and didn't eat there. First the hostess was annoyed that I hadn't heard her speaking to me and she screamed, "HOW MANY!?!?" Then we got to our booth and there was gravy or something all over the seat so I waited for the server to return. She kept looking at me but didn't come over for some time. When she finally came to see why I was standing there, she said, "What?", very rudely. I pointed at the seat and she again said, "WHAT?" I said, "There's food on the seat." She said, "Well, use your words, I don't know what you're pointing at!" We said we were leaving and she proceeded to make fun of me to other patrons. Unbelievable! We never got a chance to try the food, which may be fantastic, because the attitudes of the staff chased us away. Not worth it. Insane.

Hidden gem! It's inside a hospital with great prices. I rather just walk here and get a meal and walk back to work! The place is so clean and the staff is friendly and ready to help. Really enjoy coming here.. Fresh yummy food and it's great prices and menu is fixed for certain days so you know what to expect. I enjoyed spicy chicken soup medium size for about $3... I really like the cheese and grapes next to the packed salads they sell. Kinda pricey when you add those things but just stick to a meal and you won't break the bank!
