Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. This particular location of Publix has a cool enough ambiance and it was an overall cool enough shopping experience. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

The 1 star applies to the fish counter only. Today (8/18/25) just before 3 p.m., I went to the fish counter to make a purchase. An older man I had never seen at the counter before was arranging items in front of the display case and didn't seem pleased that he had to interrupt what he was doing to help me. There was a lot of noise in the store when I was trying to explain how I wanted the very large fillet sliced, and either he did not hear me or did not understand. Finally, he said, that's what I said 3 times! -- which wasn't true. He was extremely rude and because it's never a good idea to have an angry person handling your food, I walked away. I've been purchasing fish at this store for years and with the exception of their absence when one needs help, I've never had a problem with any of the clerks. The manager of this store needs to do something about this man because he is unsuited for any position dealing directly with customers.

Came here for fried chicken and beer and that's exactly what they had. All of their fried chicken was available. 8pc mixed, 20pc breaded and non-breaded. There's also a large beer selection here. Unfortunately there was one pack of shock-top but it was B1G1. Didn't have time to find someone for help so I just grabbed something else. Self Checkout was a breeze although the guy didn't want to check my ID. Guess I fall into the older category now LOL...

Publix carries a wide variety of food but is not my preferred store because it is so incredibly expensive. In addition, the service is very spotty. The manager lets the employees do what they want to do and often times the ambience is lacking although it calls itself the grocery store where shopping is a pleasure, it has become less and less a pleasure and more an abomination. The management needs to work more closely with employees who are not acting professional on their job. I've had experiences at the deli, the pharmacy and the front desk where in earshot I have heard employees laugh out or speak negatively about a customer, I don't know if that's the new style for young people but it is not acceptable to me. It is not professional. Also the deli moves very very slowly. I can do all my shopping and then some and go back to the deli and the line has not moved, the staff who worked there some of them are really great and will really help the customer but then their others that say oh I have to go to the bathroom and don't show back there until about 45 minutes later. The management needs to work more closely with the employees, something is not right there at all unless it wants to become a self-service store where people just check out and there's no one at the cash registers. Shopping is not a pleasure at this Publix.

This is a very nice Publix, much improved since the old days when I used to go here when I lived in Arlington a few decades ago. (LOL!) I do come back here every so often to help a friend who lives nearby. It's large and clean and the workers here are very friendly. They seem to know many of the customers by name, including my friend, and greet everyone warmly. The shelves are stocked well and everything smelled really good. I didn't need to go grocery shopping, but it was difficult to resist here. My normal Publix (Riverside) is very tiny, so it was exciting to see a huge variety of products on the shelves that I normally don't see. If you are in the area, I do recommend you visiting this store.

Our cashier Teresa was a riot!!! She was a true customer centered representative for Publix. She always makes you laugh when you go through her lane which is why we waited for her. She continuously smiles cracks jokes and makes you smile and feel welcomed. Publix needs to utilize her as a role model of what customer service should be. Overall the store was clean and well stocked and this was a good visit.

Always friendly service and I love the upgrades they made. There's a salad bar, self checkout stations and they've expanded the pre-made sandwich area in the deli.

Now this is shopping!!!! Very welcoming and warming. I visit this Publix often as it is less than a mile from home. Parking is always simple & easy to get. I also like that it's in a shopping area that isn't crowded with a bunch of other stores. To my knowledge there is only like 4 other stores in the shopping center. Also a postiive is the Pharmacy and that it has a drive thru. Now their prices might be just a little bit higher on certain items, but they have the whole BOGO thing going for them so that is a plus. One thing about any Publix is that you are gonna get great customer service and this place guarantees it and backs it up. As long as they keep that up, I will always be a loyal customer.
