Everything was horrible only good thing about this place is their staff came fast with new towels. Don't go here if you are expecting to use their pool it's shut down. All the hallways smell like either piss, cigarettes or weed. Stains everywhere, mold on ceilings, blood on bed sheets, and blood on walls! No change machine to turn your cash into quarters for washing your laundry. DONT GO HERE! I overheard some lady saying her roof fell through and they refused to move her rooms! All the stairways smell like piss!

This may be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I booked it thru my credit card using points. The photos show were definitely not what I saw upon arrival. The whole hotel stunk to high heaven. The filthy elevator was over a year past its inspection expiration, the room had mold everywhere, the ac barely worked, the phone and alarm clock were both broken, no tv remote (couldn't call so had to go down and ask for a new one...they said they would bring us one and that never happened), the bed was broken and leaning down on one side, no pillow cases, trash ball up all over the floor, food crumbs on the carpet under the table, wallpaper peeling off the walls in spots and stapled together in others.

Horrible! The room we stayed in was dated and in disrepair. There were gaps in the ceiling tiles that were falling apart and the paint was bubbling out and starting to peel. Additionnaly, there was no free breakfast since the front desk said they were in the middle of renovations. I have to admit that the hotel looked like it needed it. That small detail would have helped and they should have posted that on their website. This would have factored in my decision on whether to pick this location versus another.

December 19, 2020 The Ameris Bank Half Marathon brought me to JAX. This place was just $70 for the night. Not bad on short notice. One person manning the reception which meant waiting in line for 5 minutes just to ask a question and get registered. They do not have safety pins so don't ask. A few off things: Rooms are nice and spacious. Tv was left on before even entering the room. Showers was great but the faucets were a little grudge with calcium depots but in working order. And noticed the hot water was quickly diminishing. One of the elevators wouldn't open for the 3rd floor took me to the 4th then back down the 1st. Took the one on the left next which worked fine. Afterwards I stuck to the stairs.

Was deceiving online. Photos looked like it was recently renovated and upgraded. The lobby looks nice but then once you go to the rooms it's a different story. Room smells like urine. Bathroom looks like it wasn't even cleaned. There's mold in the rooms. I booked my stay for two nights but not staying the second. All night you hear people shouting like in a run down motel you see on tv with a domestic argument. People slamming doors. My asthma is asking up from the room causing my issues with breathing. Beds are rock hard. If I could leave no stars I would

Fair warning the hotel has a nightclub attached to the hotel. The kind of nightclub that has armed security. The room I was given smelled like smoke so bad I demanded another room. The lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly and put me in another room. The pool looked like dystopian fiction . It was clearly out of order. For young adults that just want to party this place might be your thing. The bed was comfortable at least.

Hair dryer sparked up when turned on. Bathroom counter dirty. Bathroom floor dirty. Refrigerator dirty. TV did not work. The lobby is extremely unpleasant because they are playing music from the restaurant WAYYYYY too loud. This was 3:00 in the afternoon, but they had it sounding like a night club. You can't have a conversation in there.

It's in a decent area. It's close to a mall, Walmart and other shopping and restaurants. It's also close to the highway so easy access if you are going to see something else in the city. It feels like it's in a safe place. There's adequate onsite parking. The pool area is nice. Looks like you can bring your own grill and BBQ. The only 2 issues we had was it took about 6 hours and talking to multiple employees to get fresh towels. Also the AC unit barely put out in our room. I think I would stay here again. Oh yea you have to pay a $100 deposit upon arrival and the faucets in the room were kinda corroded in spots where water tends to run. My kids enjoyed staying here but they are little and don't pay attention to the small things.

The only good thing about this place was the location. Wanted a night get away with my husband for our anniversary and decided on this place. Pictures online made it look wayyyyy better than it actually was. The reception desk is nice and that's about it. The elevator is literally falling apart. It's shakes terribly and looks so janky to the point where my asthmatic husband walked 4 flight of stairs. The whole 4th floor smelled like mold or cigarettes or both. The bedding was white but the pillows a dingy yellow. We paid for an updated room mind you. The room smelled sooo bad and the sofa had A LOT of white stains. Went to the front desk and asked to be moved to a different room preferably the 1st floor... it was much nicer visually from what we could see in the hallway.... The receptionist said that it would have to be a double bed. We go to the room and there is someone in there. We tried to not be so judgy and give the place a try, but that was the final straw. Went back and asked for a refund. And tbh I don't even think she processed it because I just got an email asking about our stay. So thank you I guess for reminding me that I need my money back. Save yourself the time and head to red roof plus wayyyy nicer staff clean rooms and a few bucks cheaper. I mean for the price I wasn't expecting luxury but I wasn't expecting the slums either. I would rather stay at a known girls of the night hotel than this place. When we got to the red roof my husband had to use his nebulizer after already using his pump because the air was that bad.
