We booked this hotel for a visit to Jacksonville for a wedding. The main draw was the two bedroom suite, but we quickly checked out and switched to the Delta Hotel Deerwood down the road. We had to book 2 rooms instead of one, but at a lower rate and without mold in the bathroom. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, but nothing they could do about the rooms in desperate need of repair.

Significant check in issues with staff that was incompetent, unfriendly and slightly hostile. Room was small and a/c noise quite loud and was not able to turn off the sound. Thankfully, I only stayed one night. First time I have seen a TownPlace Suites with an unfinished stair way area. No rugs just cement.

The staff here is the friendliest and most helpful people I have encountered in a hotel in a long time! Unfortunately they work in a dump!! Walls need painting, carpet needs replacing, curtains need replacing...it needs a LOT of work!! Not fair to the great staff to have to work in such a rundown hotel!

This is an older hotel located just off the interstate. It is buffered from the interstate by a small forest. This Town Place is older but well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful as with other Marriott properties. I found one exception, the lawn needed mowing. On the night we stayed, the hotel was full and most parking places were taken. With the exception of fresh biscuits and sausage gravy, the breakfast was comparable with other hotel breakfasts, which is mostly prepackaged items. I so miss the pre-COVID days when we got scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. The biscuits were fresh and good. It was a real treat. I would stay here again. The cost wasn't much more than hotels without kitchens. It's nice to have a full refrigerator to keep the food in our ice chest fresh and freeze bottles of water for the ice chest the next day. I like to cook in the room after a long day in the car rather than get back in the car to go to a restaurant. This hotel is a good value.

Oh my word!! Ok at first glance you might think it's a clean room. But I went to brush my teeth and the sink didn't drain. I went to take a shower and there looks like a years worth of HAIR in the drain!!!! So I took lots of tissue and cleaned it out nearly throwing up!!! Just so I wouldn't have gross hair water around my feet!! Really?!?!?!? What happened to BASIC cleaning?!?!? GROSS GROSS GROSS

I'm a long term, Titanium / Life-Time Platinum. Perhaps my expectations are a bit high... you tell me. The parking lot is so dark, there are guests that park next to the front door, including the night clerk (big time fire issue). This obviously goes hand in hand with the aforementioned, a major sign as you enter that says park at your own risk... The clerks smoke next to the front door putting their cigarette butts out on the walkway to the front door. Cleaning requests completely ignored. Repairs to the hotel are shoddy at best... e.g. Round toilet seat on an oblong toilet bowl. Marriott's continued decline. It's sad to watch this company scraping the bottom.

We stayed for 2 nights, originally planned on 1 week but the quality of this hotel wasn't very good especially for the price of almost $200/night. First the issue was with the TV's they did not work properly the remotes did not work you had keep pressing on the button for the TV to respond, it also took the TV itself quite a bit of time to turn on. Then in order watch a show you had to wait for it to just load what we wanted to watch; the most frustrating part was when it would freeze and stop half way through the show and you would have to restart it because it wouldn't load past the part it froze on and it wouldn't remember where you left off. Second the bathroom door did not lock, it was broken. Third there was a lot of water damage on the walls around the air conditioner and window to the point where the paint was bubbly and peeling off in large chunks. Lastly they advertise free coffee or tea from 6am-6am everyday, but both days there was not coffee or tea! I would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel is located just to the northwest of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. This hotel sits along a very busy road but also has lots of restaurant choice nearby. It shares a parking lot with another hotel so parking may be a challenge with both hotels full. The hotel lobby was clean. The staff was friendly and the check-in was easy. The room was very nice with a separate desk area and bedroom. The price was reasonable for the time and area.
