So nice I went there twice... IN THE SAME DAY! I was in town to work an event at the library so I stopped here on my way from the hotel to start my day. I ordered a Green Detox smoothie and a blueberry cold brew. I found a little table to hang out for a few and then realized they have a communal indoor courtyard area area right outside the door. The smoothie was great and a filling breakfast substitute, but the blueberry cold brew was soooo good. I made my coworkers try it because the flavor was excellent. Before the event, we were looking for a caffeine break so I offered to go back to Urban Grind. I looked at the menu again to try something different, but I couldn't resist the blueberry cold brew again. The staff was friendly and had out mobile order labled and ready to go in no time.

I was really excited to bring a friend to this cute local coffee shop--I try to support small businesses over chains like Starbucks--but unfortunately, our visit was ruined by one employee's rude attitude. It started when I asked if someone was in the restroom. The young woman at the counter responded in a confusing and dismissive tone, simply saying, "Umm, yes," with an attitude that felt unnecessary. I let it go. But when the restroom key was returned, things escalated. While my friend was ordering a drink, the same employee threw the key at me and said, "Here's the key if you need the restroom," again with a rude tone. I have no idea what was going on with her that day, but that kind of customer service is unacceptable. It made the whole experience uncomfortable and disappointing. I'm sharing this so the owner is aware--this kind of behavior can really hurt a small business's reputation. I won't be coming back, which is a shame, because the place itself has potential.

5 Stars for great coffee, conveniently located downtown, with a picture-perfect patio. I've had the chance to grab coffee and a danish at Urban Grind on my last two visits to Jacksonville and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience both times. They have all kinds of coffee and tea options, but I would suggest looking at the board for their seasonal offerings. I did that the last time and the blueberry coffee drink was surprising and delightful! My favorite part of this coffee shop however is the patio in the back. It's like a tiny hidden oasis in downtown Jax. It's shaded, removed from the busy streets, and a spot you'll want to sip and chat in for a good while. Overall, a great spot should you find yourself downtown looking for a good cup of coffee!

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Jax is the perfect place to start your morning! The outside garden is a great place to unwind, or hide from start of the day! I ordered the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel! The bagel, you could tell was made from scratch. I like mine with a bit more BITE but it was fresh and had an amazing texture. Make sure you check this place out

According to their in house menu a bagel with cream cheese is $4.75, a muffin is $4, and a latte is roughly $5. I got two bagels, a muffin and a latte and got charged $26 dollars pre tip when it should have been around $19. Not sure what happened there.

We were staying at the Marriott Hotel downtown for the fireworks on July 4th and decided to walk over to this place for breakfast on Saturday morning. It was about a ten minute walk. They offer various types of coffee and tea drinks, as well as breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The inside is small but there is a great urban garden in the back which we chose to sit at and have our breakfast.

This was probably the coolest coffee shop I've been at! Right in the center of downtown Jax with gorgeous outdoor seating. The overnight oats was 10/10 Coffee was delicious Bagel was great , but just TOO much cream cheese, it could be me but i like very little cream cheese.

This place is very cute. The staff are always welcoming the guests. The coffee is always good. The bagel could be toasted a little more to be crispy. Cream cheese was given an ok amount. I wish they could have better layout for customers to order since the line went outside quite often. Other than that, will definitely come back again :)

Cozy coffee shop tucked inside of a downtown building. They seem to have a rotating selection of coffee, including seasonal flavored drinks that all sounded delicious and a rotating roast. When I visited, the roast of the day was blueberry flavored and it was SO delicious. I also tried a hot cappuccino and an iced latte. I wasn't a huge fan of the oat milk that they used, the taste was noticeable in the iced latte, but it was fine in the cappuccino. The service was very fast despite the place being packed on both of my visits. There is some counter seating and it looks like the lobby of the building has additional seating if you want to hangout with your coffee or food. Can't wait to visit this coffee shop again on my next trip to Jacksonville!
