Lördag Kväll "Happy Hour" på Labor Day helgen. 

Hade den roligaste tiden med Andreas som vår bartender. Han var mycket vänlig och arbetade med oss tills min kräsna fru hittade den perfekta drycken! Andreas tillbringade också tid med oss bara vara vänlig i samtal (aldrig rusade iväg och aldrig fick oss att känna att vi inte var hans enda kunder). 

Bra atmosfär på utomhusbaren och vi fick även höra lite musik av Maeve McMahon på uteplatsen med några stora Fleetwood Mac!

Åkte dit för en happy hour mitt i veckan. Maten var faktiskt ganska bra. Tyvärr fanns det ingen dragöl, så debiterades $ 9 för en flaska. Restauranger måste vakna upp och inse varför de är tomma....

Stannade till för lunch med familjen. 
Skulle inte rekommendera denna plats alls av några skäl: 
Servitrisen var inte särskilt personlig och spillde hela vår drinkbeställning på bordet (detta händer och det är ok) 
Frun beställde ett andra glas vin som var märkbart mindre fyllt än det första. Rimligt att förvänta sig konsekvens. 
Medelhavskycklingsallad hade 4 små remsor av kyckling
Mahi sandwich var intetsägande

Vi gick till Glass och Vine för happy hour och erfarenheten var extremt nedslående. Det fanns NO draft öl tillgängligt, och fläskrevbenen — en av deras huvudmenyer — var fruktansvärda: torra, smaklösa och helt enkelt oätliga. Jag åt dem inte, klagade och blev ändå åtalad. Cocktailarna var dåligt gjorda, och servicen var hemsk från början till slut — ouppmärksam och helt ointresserad av att lösa något. Total besvikelse. Jag rekommenderar inte IT och definitivt inte kommer tillbaka.

Wow, vilken underbar upplevelse igår att ha en läcker lunch i en vacker park i Coconut Grove med ekar runt omkring och grönska var man än sitter. Det finns asfalterade gångvägar att vandra runt på. De är husdjursvänliga. Det finns ingen inside dining här. Det finns tabeller på flera olika nivåer som är ett steg över den sista nivån. Golvet är som kullersten men lätt att gå på. Baren är bekvämt beläget på högsta nivå med god utsikt över Peacock Park. De serverar brunch, lunch och middag. Vi älskade det! Miljön är olik alla andra restauranger i Miami. Mycket unik och inbjudande. 

Vår server var Maura, som var en av de sötaste och trevligaste servrarna vi har träffat på länge. Hon hade stora rekommendationer och visste menyn grundligt. Hon var uppmärksam hela tiden och våra vattenglas fylldes vid halvvägsmarkeringen snabbt. Hon är en pärla! Det var minimal väntan på våra beställningar. Servicen är bra här. 

Jag beställde Brick Roasted Half Chicken, som var på den lilla sidan men gott till lunch. Den kryddades med rosmarin och skalet var tunt och krispigt. Utsökt, saftigt och mört! Det kom med läckra rostade fingerpotatis. En örtyoghurtsås åt måltiden. Jag var mycket nöjd med Mauras rekommendation. 

Min dotter beställde Kyckling & Svart Tryffel Gnocchi. Hon älskade det. Jag smakade en potatis Gnocchi och den var grym! Maura rekommenderade starkt denna maträtt också. Perfekt tillagad med bacon och parmesan. 

Till efterrätt delade vi Mile High Chocolate Cake med vaniljglass och vispad grädde och färska jordgubbar och blåbär. Det var av denna värld utsökt! 

En av de bästa luncherna som vi hade på länge! Vi kommer definitivt att återvända mycket snart. 

Det finns gatuparkering men du måste köra runt tills någon lämnar. En kort promenad bort finns en stor parkeringsplats för Peacock Park och är gratis.

Mot ett tag besökte vi inte denna restaurang. Mycket bra uppmärksamhet. Endast busser en äldre person, skallig, hade inte en bra attityd. Macen och osten är väldigt rika, samma sak är caesarsalladen. Croissant Sanduche brändes och jag var tvungen att lämna tillbaka den, mycket rik café Latte, jag gillade inte att de skulle inkludera 20 % av en mycket oproportionerlig dricks. Jag tror inte vi återvänder.

Glass and Vine är den perfekta restaurangen för en utomhusfest eller bara njuta med ditt favoritsällskap. Atmosfären är lugn och perfekt för en avkopplande tid och njuta av god mat. Priserna är rimliga och om du kommer tillbaka med 90 dagar, ta med ditt kvitto och få en cocktail eller förrätt eller dessert gratis. Ifall det är varmt har de gigantiska fans. De ligger intill en öppen bris park. Jag gillar att berömma min server Maura V. Hennes vänlighet är smittsam. Hon är på toppen av dina behov och gör utmärkta menyrekommendationer. Jag älskar Glass och Vine och åker dit väldigt ofta.

Glass and Vine är min favoritrestaurang i Grove. Den här gången hade jag tur som hade Elizabeth som servitris. Elizabeth var stor. Hon hade utmärkta rekommendationer, hon var artig, kom att ta hand om våra behov ofta och hon var mycket vänlig. Berätta för Elizabeth hur tacksamma vi var.

Alla utomhus, med stora paraplyer, och den enskilt mest intressanta måltid vi hade i en vecka i Coconut Grove. Vi började med en fantastisk Roasted Beet Dip ($ 20 ) med tillsatt crudite (utan extra kostnad) för att göra det Gluten - gratis för mig; Vattenmelon Sallad ($ 16 ) var fantastisk, Esquites Mexican Corn ($ 15 ) var den bästa vi någonsin haft, och Tostones ($ 8 ) var bra för att skopa upp betor dopp. Vinho Verde ($ 9 ) gjorde lunchen lika trevlig som våra luncher på Greenstreet, men så exotiskt och rimligt - prissatt.

Jag hade verkligen stora förhoppningar! Jag har inte varit på den här restaurangen på länge. Jag älskar atmosfären, särskilt den här tiden på året. Restaurangen känns som om du är i ett tropiskt paradis. Men maten var medelmåttig. Restaurangen saknade flera rätter - några de berättade om när vi beställde; två de berättade om efter att vi beställt och så vi var tvungna att ändra vår beställning. Och servicen var helt okej.
