Jag hade en fruktansvärd upplevelse på Islas Canarias Bageri i morse. Jag beställde hämtmat över telefon och fick veta att den skulle vara klar om 15 minuter. Jag anlände 20 minuter senare, betalade för min beställning, och fick då veta att mina toasts var "nästan klara. " Efter ytterligare 15 minuter hade hela min beställning kallnat. De är de BÄSTA kroketterna men beställer inte Croqueta-smörgåsen, de ger dig bara en kroketa i smörgåsen, det är mer bröd än substans. Njut av en sen lunch med en kund nyligen. Mycket tystare än deras namnge motsvarighet några kvarter bort på Coral Way och med många fler bakverk bakverk. Hummer ravioli var ganska bra, liksom de croquetas de är kända för. Utmärkt var antalet bakverk vi försökte. Chokladet ökar cheesecake flan och kombinationen chokladmousse. Vi hade också "cafe con leche" som de serverar med mjölken separat från kaffet så att du kan lägga till så mycket eller så lite som du vill. Vår servitris, även om inte flytande engelska var extremt artig, vänliga och hjälpsamma för min tyska klient som talar ingen spanska. Restaurangen ligger i slutet av en lång shoppingremsa med gott om sittplatser inuti och utanför och massor av parkering också.

Drove över från downtown Miami som vi hade hört att Anthony Bourdain hade varit här. Ville prova den kubanska smörgåsen, men vi var hungriga och de fulla middagsrätterna lät utmärkt, så vi hade Paella och ett fyllt kycklingbröst - båda utmärkt. Mycket vänlig service. Ate för mycket, men kom tillbaka nästa natt för våra Cubano smörgåsar - också utmärkt. Vill du komma en natt innan vi lämnar Miami.
