The omakase experience at Hiyakawa was pure bliss. Each piece of sushi was a true work of art, crafted with incredible attention to detail. We also complemented our omakase with a few additional dishes, including the wagyu katsu, which was absolutely incredible. The interior was stunning, with tranquil vibes that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The staff was accommodating, and attentive. This was truly one of the best authentic sushi omakase experiences in Miami—I can’t recommend it enough!

An authentic Japanese experience in the heart od Miami perfectly orchestrated by chef Masayuki, visionary Alvaro Perez and a perfectly trained crew that takes you on a journey to Japan. Hiyakawa offers the most exquisite Japanese food, with an unparalleled service in a impressively designed space where minimalism and art collide. Best sushi in Miami. Amazing service and atmosphere. Every bite is worth it. The staff plays great attention to detail and is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. It’s a great spot to come with friends, family or for a romantic dinner.

10/10 I went with a friend during Art Basel week and we had such a great experience. 8 course meal we complemented it with a small bottle of sake. I also got an Anago hand roll as an addition before the dessert which I highly recommend!

You’re paying for a true experience. If you’re curious about whether to get a tasting menu (omakase) or a la carte, choose omakase if you have only had basic Japanese cuisine in your life. This will open your mind up to just how many different cuisines there are in this world that aren’t accessible to us in the U.S., ofcourse unless you go to a restaurant like Hiyakawa.

Just had an amazing dinner experience at this Japanese restaurant with my wife. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the nigiri which was incredible! The service was exceptional too. Miguel and our initial server gave us some excellent recommendations. It's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality and service we received. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a great setting!
