Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Miami is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you arrive, you feel surrounded by beauty and elegance. The garden in the patio is absolutely stunning — lush, peaceful, and so unique, creating a magical atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in a tropical oasis right in the heart of the city.

The rooms are equally impressive: beautifully designed with vintage touches, including a gorgeous standalone bathtub that feels luxurious and timeless. The decor is elegant yet cozy, and the room is incredibly comfortable — truly Instagram-worthy in every detail!

The rooftop is another highlight, with a beautiful pool area that’s perfect for relaxing, taking in the views, and enjoying the Miami sunshine. The ambiance is stylish and chic, yet calm and relaxing — perfect for both couples and solo travelers.

And the restaurant? Absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and the service was attentive and friendly.

This hotel has everything: style, comfort, amazing food, and a unique atmosphere. I can’t wait to return — definitely one of my favorite stays in Miami!

The Mayfair Hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Coconut Grove—truly a one-of-a-kind Miami experience. From the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the service. Taylor took outstanding care of us, making us feel genuinely welcomed and at ease from the start.

The design of the hotel is stunning, the atmosphere is relaxed yet luxurious, and the location is unbeatable. Every detail—from the lush surroundings to the rooftop vibes—made our stay unforgettable.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, elevated stay in Miami. We can’t wait to come back!

My main feedback for anyone considering staying here is that it’s extremely loud. There is no sound proofing internally between rooms and the corridor and the walls are very thin. The hotel is built around a central atrium with mezzanine levels that all room doors open in to, which looks really pretty but means that all noise echoes and travels. If some drunk people leave the rooftop bar and talk in the lobby, you will hear it in your 5th floor room. If people come back after a night out, you will hear it in your room.
I stayed for 3 nights during the week and was woken up every night after midnight, sometimes as late as 2am. Not ideal on a work trip, or for a 5 star hotel.
Design wise the hotel looks nice, the rooms are spacious and the front desk staff are friendly, infact all of the staff here are friendly and helpful, but this is definitely not a 5 star hotel and if you book here expecting that you should adjust expectations. Other positives are the location is great and you can easily walk to a lot of cute cafes and the marina.
Personally I would not stay here again because of how incredibly loud it was, every single night of my 3 night stay. It was also just too late, it’s not like it was noisy at 10pm on a Friday, I’m talking drunk people howling (literally howling like wolves) for 10+ minutes at 1am on a week night. I had to call guest services who were kind and apologised and the shrieking stopped briefly but then continued.
If you do decide to stay here, bring ear plugs and don’t eat at the restaurant or roof top bar - very mediocre food and slow service, but nice for a drink with a view if that’s your thing.

Lets begin with the positives..the location is perfection. Fabian the guy who cared for our car was awesome. The rooms were new and beautiful but NOT practical.Not enough hangers, no hooks, way too dark even with all the lights on I felt like I was in a cave. The beds were comfy...they made them wrong so when you got into bed the sheets came all undone. The elevators were erratic and SLOW.  We specifically asked for a  quiet room and he puts us facing the street ( i told him no street facing) and near the AC unit. My hearing is off the charts so I did not sleep! The heavy blanket on the bed was way too hot. Ok sure the AC worked amazing ..much better than most hotels BUT breakfast was a disaster. You need to sort that out. Do a buffet and have yogurts and pastries instead of the crap service we got. Nobody there could remember a thing. The Avocado toast was not edible. I had to go get a real breakfast after because your toast was dosed with heavy Balsamic (not a drizzle) which ruined it. Same with my husbands order. Sure the first morning the breakfast was good (Acai bowl was the best I have had)  but not sure who was making breakfast that second morning. If you want 5 stars than fix all the above..Also put ice in the containers. I could not find the ice! And hire staff that understands English!!! Nothing worse than that joker at check-in who did the polar opposite than everything I asked. Oh and I should add that my pool at home is much nicer. I was expecting so much nicer. That roof top was cheap and just for young people. Nothing like the classy Biltmore Hotel which I also rated a 4 as their service was about the same if not worse. I should add the water and little bar with lots of options at the Mafair was quite nice.

We visit Miami frequently, including the Coconut Grove area, but this was our first time at the Mayfair, and we will definitely return. The hotel itself is beautiful and looks like a tropical oasis… but what really stands out is the quality of the service. From the front desk staff to the valet to the housekeeping staff, we did not have one less-than-perfect interaction. The breakfast was delicious and we loved our time poolside with drinks from the rooftop bar. Everyone was so  friendly to us and our girls, and the staff even anticipated needs that we didn’t even know we had!
