I had an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Mignonette in Miami this past Saturday. From start to finish, every dish was a standout. The Clams Casino were perfectly balanced, offering just the right amount of smoky richness. The charbroiled oysters were a revelation—plump, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

The cheddar cornbread was warm, buttery, and a delightful comfort food addition to the meal. And the star of the evening? The sea diver scallops served atop cheesy polenta. The scallops were seared beautifully, tender and flavorful, while the creamy polenta added a rich, indulgent touch.

The service was just as outstanding as the food. Our server, Freddie, was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had a flawless dining experience. The GM also went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and valued.

The ambiance and service were equally impressive, making it a truly memorable dining experience. If you’re in Miami and love fresh, expertly prepared seafood, Mignonette is a must-visit. Five stars, without a doubt!

Hit and miss. Some of the starters were great like the king crab, devilled eggs with caviar and the lobster linguine. The scallops were average. Main course fish was very tough, not descaled properly and skin soggy, very disappointing. Desert was great!

Met with an old friend at this comfy spot and ofcourse I left happy after a good French Chennin blanc paired with this great apps and entrees. Chef Alex has a good operation, good menu, great staff and delightful ambiance. I’ll be back, thanks

Ash was our waiter and he was amazing. This is a hole in the wall restaurant with the most amazing raw seafood bar. The “Miami Spice” menu was very affordable at on $60 pp which included an app, entree, and dessert. They only have beer and wine but the wine list was surprisingly great.

My dinner included an order of caviar - actually two - one for an app and one for dessert lol. The blinis were hand made and warm; the caviar service was perfect. Three selections of caviar from $60-$119 (I had the $119)

We selected from the “Miami Spice” menu.
My order:
1/2 dozen oysters.
Sea scallops with snow peas and fried artichoke
Carrot cake

My meal was off the hook. Scallops were season d perfectly. Oysters were as fresh as they come (all east coast selections) and the carrot cake melted in my mouth.

His was as amazing as mine.

Both the couples next to us ordered other things. The redfish entree was one and I was told it was the best redfish they’ve ever had. All 7 of us were extremely happy and Ash was great as a waiter for all of us.

This is a well kept secret in Miami and I will be back.

The restaurant is not fancy smancy. No table cloths and the kitchen is super small. This is an intimate restaurant without all the glitter. Don’t miss this place!

We visited for Miami Spice and had a wonderful experience! Our server, Luis, was patient with us not knowing what to order and made great recommendations. We opted for a bottle of wine, which is definitely worth it instead of paying for individual glasses. The chargrilled oysters are divine as well as the lobster deviled eggs. The red fish is delicious, though the rice was a bit soggy for my liking. Finally, the butterscotch bread pudding is amazing! Come with an appetite, you will not be disappointed.
