Wonderful place for quick omakase. You get 10 pieces and also a handroll. Each piece was delicious. It is located inside the market, so don't expect much ambiance, but food is great!

There are tons of Michelin hatted spots in Japan that instead of touting a bunch of flare and extravagance, they are nestled into train stations.. or tiny markets. Keeping things simple so people can focus on what really matters: the food

The sushi was the freshes I have had in recent years, since my last time in Japan 2019. I felt the rice was not as soft as it should. We had the Omakase with one slight modification, since I can't eat shellfish or scaleless fish. The wasabi was fresh, but what caught my attention was the Soy sauce. It tastes really high-end with a sweet flavor. The Omakase was good, but as one who ate sushi a lot in Japan, I have had better, even ones at low level restaurant. For the area, it was good, as good as you can get in America.

Outstanding sushi. A nigiri based Omakase had high quality fish including a tuna flight. The otoro was melt in your mouth, the rice needed more chewing than the fish. Aburi (torched) salmon belly was another home run. Don't let the food court atmosphere dissuade you from going - it's an absolute gem. Bought sake at bar located centrally - their markup is pretty high. Parked in Palm Court garage 3$ for up to 4h. MIA Market is on 2nd floor.

Easily one of the best sushi places in Miami despite its location in a food hall.  The omakase was fresh, affordable, and tasty.  I am half Japanese and very picky when it comes to sushi; I was pleasantly surprised.  This place is better than a majority of the Michelin starred places that have a similar offering, while serving sushi at a fraction of the price.
