I’ve been working with the Dorsey as a realtor for the past 2 months and I have nothing but good things to say about the building and management/staff. This complex has by far the best amenities in the area, including a stunning rooftop infinity style pool, sauna, 24/7 gym and co-working spaces. Brenda and the whole leasing team is always extremely helpful and responsive. I will continue bringing more clients to this beautiful building!

Amazing amazing apartments and management!! Extremely beautiful rooms and great move in deals when renting in the neighborhood. David patiently took the time to show me as many apartments as I wanted to see, and explained everything very well. So kind and fun, as well as professional! They have a great team to help you through the whole process! Highly recommend The Dorsey:)

There are much better apartment complexes in Miami; I wouldn’t recommend moving here. My apartment has black mold, and when the building sent their “mold inspector,” nothing was done. They promised to “clean our AC unit,” but the maintenance guy just came in and out, marking the task as complete without actually doing anything. We’re just waiting for it to get worst so the complex has no choice but to let us leave.

This has been my worst living experience. My roommates and I faced constant harassment from our alcoholic neighbor, and the staff was unresponsive until we had to call the police numerous times in one day. The police then demanded the staff to take action against our neighbor (which is the only reason they actually did so they wouldn’t face issues with the law).

When my parking decal broke, the staff had the audacity to try to charge me $75 to replace it after all the issues I’ve encountered at The Dorsey. The staff and overall experience have been terrible, and I can’t wait to move out. The staff here has 0 empathy and is just money hungry. Avoid this place at all costs.

I live at The Dorsey, and typically, we’ve had great service when picking up packages, especially from the concierges Freddy and Rubén, who were always very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, since their departure, there has been a new individual handling the package pickups who has created an unpleasant experience. Not only does he not allow us to retrieve the package ourselves, but when we provide our apartment number, he insists on seeing further proof of identity. Upon receiving the package, he also asks for our name. While we understand the need for security, we feel that being treated this way, almost as if we're being suspected of theft, is unacceptable. It's disheartening to feel this way in our own building, and it’s a situation that truly needs to be addressed.

Additionally, the barbecues never seem to work, and there are always issues with the doors because the key fob randomly stops working. Aside from these issues, it's a lovely and centrally located place to live!

Terrible experience living here. So bad, that I moved out early.
Just a small list of all the problems..
1. Elevators out of service every week.
2. Dog pee in the elevators 24/7
3. On the weekends the trash chute backs up so people put their garbage in the hallway.
4. Thieves/sketchy people wandering in the parking garage
5. Almost non-existant security
6. Trash & Liquor bottles scattered all over the building (Primarily the garage area)

When I informed management that I was going to move out, they told me that I would just need to pay 2 months of rent for breaking the lease and that they would apply my security deposit to that amount. Furthermore, they told me I could pay through the "livly" app when the charge was added to my account. As of today, no charge has been assigned to my account and they have sent me to collections for 9k., which is double what they told me I would owe.

Good thing I have screenshots and emails from management because I will be fighting this.
