So I just had reservations here two weeks ago. And it was an interesting experience. There were some high points in the meal. Some of the food was exceptional. There were a handful of misses though.  The meal and service started off top notch. But there were a few dishes that my wife didn’t enjoy and I noticed, servicer attentiveness went down after the two dishes she only tried but didn’t like went back. The biggest issue? The time. I researched and read that this was a longer meal, of around 3 hours. Our meal, was 4 and half hours and we had them box dessert because it was simply taking too long. Had we not told them we were ready to go, our meal would have been likely over 5 and half hours. The service drop off and the extremely long wait time kind of soured the meal. For the price, I’ve had far better experiences at other Michelin stared restaurants. Overall? The experience was a disappointment.

It seems like opinions about Disney’s Michelin star restaurant are split between the Disney die-hards who can only see it as magic and those who find the place overpriced for what it offers. As someone who finds a restaurant less appealing if visiting it requires me to brave the crowds and chaos of Orlando theme park land, please hear me when I say that this restaurant is awesome.

After waking up at 5:55am to unsuccessfully attempt to snag a reservation, we signed up for a free MouseDining account and—this is where the magic comes in—happened to score a reservation for the Queen Victoria room. One of our servers mentioned that calling and asking to be placed on the waitlist can be a good way to do it, but patience is required either way.

Arriving at the Grand Floridian, we had to wait in a line of cars to get through the security gate. This process took about 5 minutes. Security asked for a driver’s license and last name on the reservation before waving us on to the hotel valet. From there, the restaurant can be accessed on the second floor, down a hallway and to the left of the check in kiosk for another dining place. We were greeted by name and welcomed into the dining room and guided to our table. They had a small ottoman/stool set up which was super convenient for setting down a purse, sweater, etc. Such a nice touch! The seats were incredibly comfortable and the wallpaper is this beautiful, cushiony fabric with intricate details that helped to dampen some of the sound.

We were fortunate to have Jenna and James taking care of us, with visits from Maître d’hôtel Israel Pérez and other team members. The hospitality they extended to us was really incredible. From describing each dish or zero proof drink to answering questions with proud enthusiasm to the perfect balance of checking in on us and being there when we needed while otherwise giving us space to enjoy things, there’s really nothing more I could ask for.

Having tried a few fine dining tasting menus in Orlando, one thing that stands out about the dining experience (other than a live harpist!!) in the Queen Victoria room at Victoria & Albert’s is the portion sizes. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so full after a chef’s tasting menu, which may help to explain the price point beyond the “Disney tax,” so to speak. Each course offered more than just a bite or two; you get to really savor the dishes for a few minutes before hitting the bottom of the bowl.

Everything was prepared and plated with precision and skill. The creativity of each course stands out as well, with excellent zero proof pairings that enhance the flavor and complement everything from ingredients to colors and textures. Everything tasted fantastic, and they do such a great job of pacing the courses so that you get plenty of time to enjoy without feeling like you’re wondering when the next dish will arrive.

While our budget and (the near Olympic sport of securing reservations) really doesn’t allow us to visit more than like once a year, this is definitely somewhere I’d be thrilled to go to again in the future. Victoria & Albert’s deserves 2 Michelin stars for sure, and it’s no wonder they’ve been a AAA five diamond restaurant for so long. We went in with tempered expectations based on other reviews and just the Disney vibe that isn’t quite our thing, but we left feeling like our expectations had been far exceeded, in a bit more of a joyful Disney spirit than we’d probably care to admit ;)

What an incredible dining experience this turned out to be! From the atmosphere, the presentation, the wines, the food, the service, and the company, everything was perfect!

We were promptly greeted at the entrance of the restaurant and escorted to our table. Everyone there knew it was my wife's 40th birthday, and wished her a happy birthday.

The atmosphere was so relaxed and upscale with a phenomenal harp player who just made it better. The decor was beautiful and the personalized envelope with the menu inside a very nice gesture!

Our servers Matt and Christina truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had such an incredible dining experience! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very personable!

The sommelier and GM Israel and Rado were both very attentive and courteous. The wine selection was insanely huge, and everything we tried was delicious. My wife ended up doing the wine pairing (additional $155), which was the equivalent to about 2 1/2 glasses. Great pairings, and bit pricey though.

Every courses we had were perfectly prepared with dietary needs for each of us. The plate presenations were spectacular and everything was delicious. My personal favorite had to be the Ox Tail, just AMAZING! My wife loved the lamb and my friend the Wagyu!

Yes, it is the most expensive dining experience in Orlando, but absolutely worth it. The attention to details is bar none, and the service is top notch. Two thumbs way up to the incredible team of Victoria & Albert's for such an outstanding evening!

Chef Gabby is creating culinary mastery which we delight in on the regular, as a favorite pastime. Christina took us on a marvelous journey throughout the evening with pacing, presentation and details. She listened attentively as we shared the story of our 13 yo dining companion yearning for a grilled cheese on a faraway adventure as she found herself yet again in the throes of embracing a degustation menu of fanciful food. Like the pure, unexpected magic that is Disney, the kitchen wasted no time and chef Connor presented a Michelin Star grilled cheese - never done before! We erupted into laughter and were filled with joy at the wit and humility!! Absolutely made our night even more enjoyable. The pure thoughtfulness, surprise and humor.  Everyone loved the evening, there were 5 of us. Every bite was savory and divine - we left satiated on multiple levels.  Stunning harpist, elegant ambiance, but not pretentious- this is a delicate balance they have achieved.  If fine dining is your passion, this is a must while in Orlando. Thank you! We will be back!

What a wonderful experience on 2/9/23.  Christina our server was attentive and knowledgeable.  She took the experience to another level.  Outstanding service by the staff as a whole.  Food presentation was great and almost nearly perfect.  Just one inconsistency but no big deal.  As a chef for 26 years the only suggestion I have is the Madeline cookies were underwhelming at such a critical stage of closing out the dinner.  We were very pleased and we would like to return in the future.  The fine dining is worth it and I recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful night out of 3.5 hours it honestly goes by quickly leaving you wanting more. Thank you, Asher from Sorrento.

Som sagt, jag var lite besviken på ett par av rätterna. Hummern var tyvärr överkokt, vilket tog bort vad som borde ha varit en höjdpunkt i måltiden. Dessutom var andelen A 5 nötkött, även om den var otroligt smakrik, förvånansvärt liten även om man smakade på menystandarder. 

Ändå gör den övergripande servicen och inställningen detta till en minnesvärd fine dining-upplevelse – det motsvarade helt enkelt inte alla förväntningar i detta prisläge.

Tog mig ett tag att räkna ut min gedigna recension av denna restaurang och personal. Vi åt en 10 rätters måltid med vinparning. 
Personalen och ledningen behandlade oss som kungligheter och maten var utmärkt. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera denna restaurang om du vill ha högsta kvalitet på en royalty middag upplevelse.

Fantastiskt! Allt var fantastiskt. Den absolut mest intressanta och extravaganta måltiden du kan äta på Disney. Vinparningar var klockrena. Ett underbart sätt att fira ett speciellt tillfälle. Bästa middag upplevelse du kan ha i Florida!

Vi fick äntligen en för vår senaste resa, och det var verkligen en oförglömlig upplevelse. Servicen är otrolig och maten är av denna värld. Det kommer att vara något vi alltid kommer ihåg. Rekommenderar starkt.

Varför bara en Michelinstjärna? Vi har haft middag i många bra restauranger runt om i världen, inklusive ett antal 3 stjärnor, så det är med viss kunskap som vi tycker Victoria & Alberts verkligen förtjänar mer än en stjärna. Till att börja med kommunicerade personalen med mig i förväg och frågade om eventuella kostrestriktioner, och efter några fram och tillbaka e-postmeddelanden anpassade prix fixe-menyn därefter. Positivt överraskad över att ha en personlig meny, och varje rätt var utsökt med underbar presentation och förklaring. Vinparningarna var perfekta. Servicen var exceptionell. Atmosfären är exklusiv - det finns bara ca 12 bord i stora matsalen. Harpspelaren gav en vacker touch. Också trevligt att se en mer formell klädkod i USA. Totalt en underbar upplevelse som förtjänar mer än en Michelinstjärna.

Vi har ätit på Victoria and Albert’s vid några tillfällen och det är en fin middagsupplevelse du inte vill missa! Vi bestämde oss för att vänta på Chef’s Table och när vi äntligen fick äta där var det väl värt att vänta. En av mina favoriträtter genom tiderna är från denna måltid. Tryffelraviolin är en rätt jag aldrig kommer att glömma. Menyn ändras säsongsvis och är nästan aldrig densamma så det är alltid värt att komma tillbaka igen. Du kan inte ta några videoklipp vid kockens bord men du kan ta så många bilder du vill.

Har varit här två gånger; en gång i Queen Victoria rum som födelsedag / årsdag resa och en gång i stora matsalen med familjemedlem för en fest. Båda gångerna var utmärkt och värt pengarna. Vi gjorde den sista sittning dock andra besöket och skulle inte rekommendera att sent om du inte är en nattuggla!

Vilken otrolig matupplevelse detta visade sig vara! Från atmosfären, presentationen, vinerna, maten, servicen och företaget, allt var perfekt! 

Vi möttes omedelbart vid ingången till restaurangen och eskorterades till vårt bord. Alla där visste att det var min frus 40-årsdag, och jag önskade henne en grattis på födelsedagen. 

Stämningen var så avslappnad och exklusiv med en fenomenal harpspelare som bara gjorde det bättre. Inredningen var vacker och det personliga kuvertet med menyn inuti en mycket trevlig gest! 

Våra servrar Matt och Christina verkligen gick utöver det vanliga för att säkerställa att vi hade en sådan otrolig matupplevelse! De var extremt professionella, kunniga och mycket personliga! 

Sommelieren och GM Israel och Rado var båda mycket uppmärksam och tillmötesgående. Vinutbudet var vansinnigt stort, och allt vi provade var utsökt. Min fru slutade med att göra vinparningen (ytterligare $ 155 ) , vilket motsvarade cirka 21 / 2 glas. Bra ihopparningar, och det är lite dyrt, dock. 

Varje kurs vi hade var perfekt förberedd med kostbehov för var och en av oss. Tallrikarnas presentationer var spektakulära, och allt var utsökt. Min personliga favorit fick bli Oxsvansen, helt FANTASTISK! Min fru älskade lammet och min vän Wagyu! 

Ja, det är den dyraste matupplevelsen i Orlando, men det är absolut värt det. Uppmärksamheten på detaljer är bar none, och servicen är top notch. Två tummar upp till Victoria & Alberts otroliga team för en sådan enastående kväll!

Tur tog oss tillbaka till Victoria & Alberts för tredje gången när en sista minuten reservation öppnade upp ungefär en vecka före vår resa. Vi har alltid älskat upplevelsen, verkligen en mattillställning, och maten som vi kanske inte kan uttala eller identifiera, men smakar ack så fantastiskt. Vi märkte dock vissa förändringar på detta besök. Förr i tiden fick vi 2 eller 3 alternativ i varje kurs att välja mellan, och den här gången var det helt enkelt alla stavas ut och plockas för oss. Problemet som skapade var att nästan alla förrätter var skaldjur och sådant som vi verkligen, verkligen inte gillade. Jag tror att den enda icke - skaldjur var ett hjortdjur (eh) . Tyvärr, medan maten presenterades sakkunnigt, kunde vi bara inte njuta av det. Vi fick reda på att vi absolut inte gillar uni alls. LOL Våra servrar var fenomenala, atmosfären är som ingen annan, och upplevelsen är fortfarande i toppklass. Detta kan ha avskräckt oss från att återvända, åtminstone en tid, av rädsla för menyn. Eftersom det ändras hela tiden, finns det inget sätt att veta vad som kommer att serveras vid tidpunkten för din bokning. Jag ger det fortfarande 4 starter eftersom jag är säker på att maten var utmärkt, bara inte till vår belåtenhet och det är inte deras fel.

Jag kunde gå in i detaljer om atmosfären, servicen, maten och upplevelsen som helhet men jag skulle hellre ha någon upplevelse för sig själva. Om du inte är helt imponerad av denna underbara matupplevelse så tycker du förmodligen inte om det mesta i ditt liv; )

Min man och jag ätit middag här redan 2014 och även om de var oerhört dyra, återvände vi 2019 eftersom vi hade grundligt haft upplevelsen. Men den här gången låter maten och den övergripande servicen oss. Det var bara inte lika bra som för 5 år sedan, men det är definitivt dyrare.
Till att börja med hade restaurangen en mycket stark lukt av brinnande ved. Det var så starkt att det utlöste min astma och när jag återvände till vårt rum reeked våra kläder av en vedeldad eldstad. Flera dagar senare och hemma stinker min klänning fortfarande och jag måste ta den till kemtvättarna och hoppas att de kan eliminera den woody stanken. Som en annan recension nämnts, är interiören daterad, mycket mörk och verkligen inte typisk för en Michelin eller 5 - stjärnig AAA - rankad restaurang. Jag tror att AAA måste komma tillbaka och göra en ny recension.
Robyn och Xavier var våra servrar. Robyn var lite över - toppen med sina beskrivningar och leverans. Xavier kom över som trevligare och "verklig. ”Robyn gjorde också ett fel när jag serverade min man ostfat i stället för vaniljgelato. När du betalar 235 dollar per person borde inte sådana misstag hända. Hon erbjöd också att ta över lite bröd medan jag väntade på att min man skulle återvända efter att ha träffat min bror i lobbyn; brödet kom aldrig.
När det gäller måltiderna var majoriteten av dem så otroligt salt. Jag kan inte tro att ingen har klagat på detta och detta kommer från någon som gillar salt. Men diskarna gränsade till oätliga på grund av överdriven användning av smaksättning. Kreativiteten var inte där. Rätter var tråkiga jämfört med de för 5 år sedan. Vi lämnade där känslan tömd och besviken efter att ha bara slösat bort $ 700 på en underbarande måltid. Vi kommer inte att återvända för tredje gången.

Hahaha. Jag skrattar fortfarande över den här middagen, en vecka senare. Detta är en restaurang för människor som inte äter på världens bästa restauranger ofta. Min måltid på Victoria och Alberts förra veckan kostade mer än min måltid på Eleven Madison Park i New York City förra månaden. 772 $ per person för middag, inklusive tips, kan vara rimligt om du får kvaliteten på tre Michelin-stjärnor. Men det var vad jag tillbringade på Victoria och Alberts förra veckan, och kvaliteten på måltiden skulle kämpa för att komma till och med en enda Michelin-stjärna. Victoria och Alberts sprängdes av Eleven Madison Park i alla avseenden, och jag tillbringade mindre än $ 650 per person på Eleven Madison Park. Jag tillbringade till och med mindre på Alain Ducasses Louis XV i Monaco förra året. Varför? Hur kan Eleven Madison Park, en av de bästa restaurangerna i USA, eller Louis XV, en av de bästa restaurangerna i världen, vara billigare än Victoria och Albert? Jag kan inte förstå det. Tjänsten hos Victoria och Albert's är underbar, personalen är utmärkt och maten är verkligen anständig, men det är inget imponerande eller ovanligt. Rätter är välmenade, helt trevliga att äta och helt ointressanta jämfört med vad du kan få på de platser som nämns ovan. Dessutom är interiören extremt daterad och tyvärr helt olämplig för en restaurang som tar ut mer än en av de bästa restaurangerna i USA. Det finns helt enkelt ingen anledning att Victoria och Alberts borde kosta så mycket, och tyvärr är det inte ens värt kostnaden. Som sagt, om du inte bryr dig om pengarna, eller om du inte vet något bättre, varför inte gå och njuta av den bästa restaurangen på Disney World. Det är verkligen en trevlig kväll. Hahaha.

Det är svårt att veta var man ska börja beskriva Victoria och Albert. Tjänsten var oöverträffad. Från vinförvaltaren till servrarna till harpisten kände vi oss mycket speciella. Vi behandlades på tretton kurser för bitstorlek och var och en av dem var en delikatess. Från kaviar till fisk från Nya Zeeland till det mest anbudet nötkött som smälter i munnen. Detta var inte bara en middag utan en tre timmars gourmetresa. Detta är en sällsynt speciell behandling för ett speciellt tillfälle.

Förra veckan gick jag för att fira min födelsedag. Jag har en underbar upplevelse. Jag kunde smaka på riktiga texturer, arom och smak på livsmedel. Det var oerhört läckert. Mötesplatser, personal och anläggningar var underbara. Jag ville inte lämna platsen. Jag kom klockan 18 och lämnade klockan 22:30. Den bästa avgasningsupplevelsen i mitt liv.

Du kan helt enkelt inte föreställa dig upplevelsen av att äta här oavsett hur bra skrivna recensionerna kan vara. Vi kom tillbaka för vårt andra besök i mars förra året och efter 3 + timmar av att vara feted med så många olika kurser tror vi att vi har förstörts för andra fina upplevelser (men vi försöker fortfarande bevisa det fel).
