There aren’t even words that can describe how unique of a dining experience this place is. Juju is the sister store to Susuru and because of how small the store is you’d easily miss this place if you weren’t looking for it. They have a lounge to chill at near the bar and unique Japanese lantern decorations and posters on the walls that really make the atmosphere different from just about any place you’ll go dine at. Now with that said, everything was delicious! You definitely have to get the Tebu Gyoza Wings, A5 Wagyu Gyoza, Hamachi Kama and Chicken Karaage if you’re going to get starters. If you love sushi then get the dry aged sashimi set and otoro set. Those had such a nice depth of dry aged flavor in each piece of fish. The Yakitori and Kushiyaki shine with the texture of the meats, the flavors of each meat and that nice char grilled taste that just lingers after you’ve finished it leaving you craving more. Definitely get the beef tongue, ribeye, pork jowl and king mushroom skewers. They unfortunately ran out of ice cream for the night because they sold that many but beware that it is one flavor a day and it rotates each day so you cannot order each flavor that they have to try them all. I would love to come back again and try some of the menu items I didn’t get to try the first time. It is a bit pricey but honestly you need to give Juju a try, like as in right now.

First of all, ask for Dawson ONLY if you want HONEST recommendations and personalized suggestions.

DO NOT get the ribeye skewer. Have had 10x better ones for the same price.

DO, however, get the MENTAIKO UDON (a must, might as well double up if you have a large party) and the okonomiyaki, if you’ve been to Japan and is craving for the CLOSEST  thing to the real deal. The tenderloin skewer is a lot better than the ribeye.

COCKTAIL - get the MURASAKI NO AME when you’re feeling pretty and want to feel prettier lol.

AMBIANCE - they’re TRYING, ok. AND THATS WHAT MATTERS. Give them some time & SOME GRACE. Food and personality will eventually get there. It’s ALREADY showing potential. You can still take your friends and family out to enjoy dinner here, but don’t be judgmental.

As you can see in the attached pic & vid clips of the items we've ordered. I ALWAYS recommend the Chicken Kara Age (Japanese version of chicken nuggets with the zesty lemon Mayo dipping sauce), along with practically any combo of the grilled kushiyakis, then sushi dishes to top it off! Visited JUJU for their walk-in izakaya service. This has been one of the BEST yakitori we have had in the States. A true gem in Orlando. We had the chicken skin, knee, heart, thigh w/negi and the tsukne. From the kushiyaki section we had the pork jowl, couple of times. All of them were delicious, but our least favorite was the tsukune, it tasted like gyoza filling. Skewers were cooked to perfection and the lemon salt that comes with them, compliments the meat really well. We saw a table next to us eat the seafood platter, we asked for their opinion and decided to get own for ourselves. The oysters had such a delicate texture, it almost felt creamy.  I had tried uni couple times before and decided I wasnt a fan. But this uni changed my opinion. It didnt have that super salty fishy flavor at all. It was like eating a piece of butter seafood. The aged fish and the caviar/fish eggs bowl was also outstanding. The Pizza hut drink was such a treat too. I definitely want to visit their sister location next time we’re in Orlando. ごちそうさまでした、とってもおいしかったです！

Now this is a fun place to visit!! Aside from really cool Japanese themed decor, the great selection of Japanese drafts, and Japanese themed cocktail....the food is really good!!!! That chicken wing Gyoza had my mind in a stir!! Tried both mini bowls which when added to a few delicious appetizers, was the perfect size. And oh so delicious!! I will definitely be returning here and soon!! Godzilla is everywhere! Fun and absolutely well thought out menu! Put this on your list if you want to try something different and yet very tasty!
