I recently had the pleasure of dining at Knife and Spoon, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and overall, it was an exceptional experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff attentive to every detail, making us feel truly welcome and well cared for throughout the evening.

The food, without a doubt, lived up to the restaurant's reputation. The lamb, in particular, was epically amazing—cooked to perfection at medium rare. Each bite was a revelation, showcasing the chef's expertise and the quality of the ingredients used.

I opted for the menu with wine pairing, which, while filling, was a delightful experience. The selections complemented each dish beautifully, enhancing the flavors and overall dining experience. The menu itself is a set offering, and while I initially thought it was a pick-and-choose format, everything served was from the set menu. At $135 for the menu and $75 for the wine pairing, I found it to be a good value considering the quality of the food and wine.

However, my only complaint lies with the atmosphere. For a restaurant of this caliber, I would have preferred a more intimate and cozy setting. The current setup reminded me a bit too much of a school cafeteria, lacking the privacy and ambiance one might expect at a Michelin-starred venue. Real candles and tablecloths would greatly enhance the dining experience and add a touch of elegance that is currently missing.

In summary, while the food and service at Knife and Spoon are top-notch, the atmosphere could use some refinement to match the level of the cuisine. Despite this, it's still a fantastic dining destination, especially for those who appreciate exquisite food and excellent service.

Second visit here in 2 years. Food was ok.  Service was slow. We had zero refills of water or anything in the last hour we were there.  … so we didn’t even bother to stay for desserts. Steak was good.  Everything else was meh. See captions of pics. Not really worth the pomp and circumstance for this place.  Food quality needs to tighten up.  Have your servers pay attention to the patrons and not for show. They didn’t even get our drink order right.  The cocktail was just plopped down on the table without thoughtfulness. Expected much more from this restaurant. The Highball and Harvest downstairs had much better food, service and ambiance.

So we’ve eaten here numerous times since it changed hands from Norman’s to Knife & Spoon. Each time we’ve eaten here, the experience was progressively worse, which is likely at least part of the reason they lost their Michelin star… inconsistency. The first time we ate here, we liked the decor and ambiance, although it didn’t feel as comfy or nice as Norman’s did. The largest gap between the two venues was clearly the service. When it was Norman’s, we always felt special when we ate here, the staff always went above and beyond and did little things like giving my wife a little rose, folding my napkins, checking in on each course. Knife & spoon did none of those things. Another glaring issue is that their menu actually GOT WORSE over time. Initially they offered unique drinks such as aged wagyu fat washed old fashioned, and steaks that were aged 45 days, 150 days and 365 days! You simply cannot find this at many fine dining establishments. I’ve tried all of those aged steaks, and they were amazing. Guess what, none are offered there any longer, and those bespoke drinks, gone. When I asked why, I was told that they were too expensive and costs needed to be cut. SAY WHAT? Cut costs? We’re talking about a Michelin starred restaurant (formerly) that costs well over $300 for dinner for 2, at one of the finest Ritz Carlton venues in the US! What a joke. Needless to say, my wife and I no longer dine here, and I most certainly don’t recommend it to anyone, especially with so many amazing dining options that exist today in the Orlando region. Thumbs down. I hope the ritz brings in another restaurant to replace this place sooner than later.

We just celebrated our anniversary dinner at Knife and Spoon and our experience was beyond fantastic. Our servers were amazing, very knowledgeable of the menu. They provided amazing recommendations regarding food and drinks. I had the dayboat catch with mushrooms and onion rings and my husband the Australian wagyu filet mignon (perfectly cooked medium well) with Joe Mac and Cheese. Honestly we couldn't choose a better place to celebrate. Thank you to Joy and Shay, our servers and all the restaurant staff for spoiling us 😊. Last but not least, the breads selection they give you to try, amazing, but we highly recommend the one with Cheese and paprika. Thank you guys for everything, we look forward to visit you again.

We came to this place to have dinner. The food was terrific, and the service was excellent. We started our dinner with some beef Tartar, which was a complements to the chef. I had the Australian beef wagyu filet minion, And it was divine. A friend of mine had the chard octopus, which was also excellent. We then finished the night with a little carrot cake, which was also very good. overall this restaurant is really nice for special occasion or a nice date night out.

Jag har bara haft en handfull matupplevelser under min livstid som har känts som om jag festade inuti en underbar dröm. Denna otroliga upplevelse var en av dem. 

Det slutade med att vi sov över en söndagskväll efter min pojkväns jobbkonferens bara för att han skulle få uppleva denna fantastiska Michelinrestaurang. Det gjorde ingen besviken. 

Kom tidigt, vi började med martinis i baren: en Lemon Drop för mig och en mycket torr Vodka Martini upp med en twist för honom. Drinkarna var perfekta. Vår bartender samordnade med värdinnan, låta henne veta att vi var där när vi väntade på att sitta vid vårt bord, en vacker monter i mitten av restaurangen. 

Vi hade flera servitörer som serverar vårt bord, och Servicen var oklanderlig. Kocken skickade ut en Split Pea Soup med Parmesan Foam amuse bouche som var utsökt och uppfriskande, följt av vårt urval av två olika sorters nybakat bröd med två otroligt förbättrade smör. Jag är inte mycket till bröd person, men hoppa inte över gratis bröd Service. Det är av denna värld. 

Tonfisk- och gåsförrätten var väldigt annorlunda och dekadent, med tunt skivad gulstjärt som täckte tallriken med en antydan av lagrad gåslever serverad över rostad brioche. Det var otroligt fräscht och gott! 

Det var tråkigt att höra att min favoriträtt, Uni Cacio e Pepi, inte längre finns på menyn, så jag beställde Doppio Ravioli, en vegansk pastarätt, istället. Rätten kommer med endast tre stora raviolis, men de är så fylliga och krämiga (fyllda med cashewgrädde och serveras med en apelsinreducerad sås med vad som smakade kokosmjölk) att jag var mätt efter att ha ätit den (tillsammans med brödet och förrätten också! ) Pojkvän beställde Wagyu Picanha Frites med sommartryffel och en mycket salt chimichurri och tyckte att det var en av de bästa nötköttsrätter han någonsin ätit (och han är kräsen). 

Vi njöt av vår drömmåltid med ett gott glas Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir för mig, och en annan dry martini för honom. Varje år har jag förälskat mig i ett visst vin nog att söka upp det hemma. Förra året var det Flowers Chardonnay; i år är det denna Pinot Noir. 

En palettrengöring av en stickande - på - ett - bra - sätt hallonsorbet levererades till var och en av oss, och vi beställde den otroligt lätta vita chokladen och apelsinsufflén till dessert. Vi beställde vårt favoritvin Tawny Port till det, men sommelieren rekommenderade en otrolig sherry (jag ber om ursäkt - jag minns inte andan) som passar bättre till sufflén istället. Han gav oss hälften av den andan och hälften av vår beställda portvin, och han hade rätt: sherryn var det perfekta valet. 

Notan serverades med fyra små tuggor: två chokladtryfflar och två ingefära tuggummin, som vi såklart fick sluka trots att vi var väldigt fulla av fantastisk mat. 

Detta är ett måste besöka restaurang i Orlando. Det är på den underbara Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes resort, i lobbyn. 

Proffstips: Ät brödet! Ta 1 - 2 bitar och doppa det med det smaksatta smöret - det är otroligt!

Maten var fantastisk, men Servicen var överväldigande. Det var så imponerande. Alla gjorde bra jobb bara kan inte se hur bra det var.

Hade en utmärkt middag. Älskade hamachi och rödbetssallad. Ribeye kryddades och tillagades perfekt. Till efterrätt åt vi choklad och sufflérätter. Bra service också!

Den kemiska doften var så stark i hela restaurangen. Vi mådde illa halvvägs genom måltiden. Varför skulle en restaurang vilja dölja lukten av mat? Kommer inte att gå tillbaka.

Vi hade en underbar middag här, det var egentligen bara ett fall av att gå in och de mycket vänligt pressade oss in. 
Vi var en grupp av 4 vuxna och 1 barn och vår faktura kom till ca 800 USD för tre rätter vardera några cocktails och ett glas champagne. 
Personalen är mycket kunnig och lyckas verkligen ge bra service utan att ständigt checka in. 
Vi åt dagens kyckling- och fiskfilé och dessa var goda och tillagade perfekt, vi åt även en stor biff som trots att den tillagades väl saknade lite smak, som sa att den fortfarande var väldigt njutbar. 
De enastående desserterna var Key Lime Pie och Morotstårtan. 
Det var en sådan lättnad att äta här efter att ha upplevt lite riktigt hemsk mat på denna resa. Jag skulle gärna återvända.

En trevlig restaurang inom Ritz - Carlton/JW Marriott Orlando komplex. Bland alla restauranger inom komplexet, den enda som erbjuder extraordinära priser och inte den vanliga amerikanska mat som är så vanligt på de flesta ställen. Servicen är uppmärksam om än lite grov vid värdinnan monter, men de vänliga servrarna gör upp för detta. Maten är vällagad och väl presenterad, god och trevlig. Även tempot i tjänsten är berömvärd. Den enda negativa punkten: restaurangen är mycket bullriga, särskilt i huvudmatsalen som är gör formad och utan en matta, bullret från matgästerna är obehagligt. Vi åt upprepade gånger i restaurangen och valde att äta i baren vilket gör det möjligt att ha samtal utan att behöva höja rösten. Sammantaget en bra restaurang som jag skulle besöka igen.

Bortom besvikelse. Servicen var inte bara långsam men hemsk. Maten var torr, servicen flyttade i en snigel takt & tydligt be om något var en olägenhet. Jag hade förväntat mig mer av Ritz Carlton.

Detta är en exceptionell restaurang. Allt från servicen till maten är exceptionellt. Vår serveringspersonal gjorde rekommendationer och var alltid där när vi behövde dem. Rekommenderar starkt denna restaurang för alla speciella tillfällen.

Denna restaurang i hjärtat av Ritz Carlton Grand Lakes är absolut så värt ett besök även om du inte bor på plats. Dray aged Bone i NY strip gjord för perfekt temperatur och presentation. Unik kilsallad, sötnosar och kimchee-infunderad gräddig spenat avslutar upplevelsen. Rekommenderar starkt!

Den här restaurangens känsla för detaljer och engagemang för att göra allt rätt är en uppfriskande oas i en värld av dyra medelmåttor. Denna anläggnings position som # 1 på varje betygssystem är helt korrekt. Kniv & Sked är ett måste. Missa inte det!

Kan inte klaga något för allt är nära perfekt! Från lagrad biff, kock efter eget tycke, hela min fisk grillad, råa ostron, Cacio e pepepe upp till desserter. Jag gillar deras servicesystem, alla har sina egna specifika uppgifter. Var beredd på att skriva en bra check. Fine dining innebär dyrt! Klaga inte, du vet att det kommer!
