This is an interactive science museum with more hands-on items than exhibits. This is great for keeping kids active as well as challenging them to think about how to solve the many puzzles.

If you have a few hours, this is a great stop that is not one of the BIG attractions in the area. It is not big, so if there with middle aged to older kids, you can do everything before lunch. Before you go double-check exhibit closers as the dinosaurs exhibit was closed in January 2025.

The Orlando Science Center is an absolute gem in the city!
It’s perfect for all ages, whether you’re a curious kid or a science-loving adult. The exhibits are incredibly interactive, which makes learning fun and engaging. You can explore a wide variety of scientific fields, from space and physics to nature and biology. The planetarium shows are mesmerizing...an amazing way to dive into astronomy and learn about the stars and planets.

One of the highlights is the live science demonstrations, which are both educational and entertaining. They really bring science to life in a way that’s easy to understand and enjoy. The dinosaur exhibit is another favorite—perfect for young explorers who are fascinated by prehistoric creatures!

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, eager to answer any questions or give additional insights into the exhibits. There are also tons of hands-on activities throughout the center, so it’s perfect for a family outing or even a solo adventure if you’re a science enthusiast. The kids' area is well-designed and safe, providing hours of entertainment for little ones.

Overall, the Orlando Science Center is a must-visit in Orlando! Whether you're looking for a fun day out or want to inspire a love of science in your children, this place is unbeatable. Highly recommend spending a full day here...You won’t be disappointed!

What a spectacular building, definitely one of Orlando’s best attractions for locals and tourists alike. The renovation that included the ocean, the swamp and the rainforest is amazing. You get up very close to wildlife. Everything is interactive, very cool for families and small kids. Definitely recommend!

I was visiting my family in Orlando and decided to visit the Orlando Science Center with my God-daughter. The Orlando Science Center is a fun interactive learning center focusing on experiences that can be fun for both children and adults. It is located in downtown Orlando, and has a large parking building next to it (there are parking fees). It consists of three floors with a variety of learning environments, such a Dino Dig,  animal environment, Florida Everglades animal pool, a level full of puzzles, interactive Earth environments and maps, etc. A family can enjoy many hours of fun activities! They also have science shows and science fiction movies, all. Included in the admissions fee. There is also, of course, a gift shop with moderately priced mementos, stuffed animals, puzzles, etc. We had a lot of fun.. I recommend it!

Work had our holiday event here today from 2 till 5p. Drove up and into their parking, was told to validate the parking ticket, or else I would have to pay, and then got a spot on the second floor. Got to the entry glass tunnel, which takes you to the second floor where there were greeters all dressed up, giving a happy welcome in. The appetizers served were all veggie. The areas to walk through and learn things were fun, but most folks were there to see their coworkers/friends for a while. I walked around, went to various floors, and enjoyed it all.
