There are two locations and we’ve been to both.  Today went to their Colonial Drive location.  Taste of Chengdu is absolutely delicious, but we love Schiuan cuisine!  This is a must try.  Baldwin Park location in nicer area, but food just the same at both locations.  Nice service each and every time we’ve been.

I’ve been here several times and it never disappoints. This is the best restaurant in the greater Orlando area in my opinion. The bad reviews are from people who are inexperienced dining at this type of restaurant, uncultured people. Most people complain about the portions being small are of a certain demographic if you know what I mean. The larger tables have turntables in the middle intended for eating family style. Meals are meant to be shared. You need to order several dishes and share with your party, NOT one order for each person. We always go with a large party because it’s more fun to order more things and share the experience. I recommend ordering a variety of spicy/non spicy, meat/veg, hot/cold you can reset your palate. The pricing reflects how you mix and match dishes. This place is delicious and I am obsessed with sichuan peppercorns because they have this delightful numbing effect. I took my boyfriend who grew up in a small town not exposed to other cultures and even he loved the experience but you need someone to tell you how to order. If you need help on placing your meal, the staff it’s delightful and happy to help. Staff is very attentive, restaurant is clean and well decorated, and food is phenomenal.

proper szechuan, good flavors and the heat is definitely there if you order the right dishes

food comes out extremely fast so the location seems to turnover guests pretty quickly

5 Star for food quality. On the pricey side and smaller portions for the price. Basic diner facilities (attached to motor inn lodge) that serves gourmet fare. Tried lunch specials… prices have increased from what’s posted online 😒.

Från första gången jag gick till Taste of ChengDu på West Coloinal har jag varit där varje fredag eftermiddag i 3 år. För det mesta hålls mitt affärsmöte där för ett lunchmöte. Jag älskar den äkta Kinesiska maten de lagar. Kockarna är från Sichuan, Kina. Så är ingredienserna. Jag har varit på många Kinesiska restauranger i USA, jag måste säga att det här är min favoritrestaurang. Ägaren är mycket vänlig. Hon ser till att du får det du vill ha.

Absolut älskade min upplevelse! Smakerna var otroliga, och stämningen var helt rätt. Varje rätt var en fröjd, sprängfylld av autentisk smak. Kan inte vänta med att komma tillbaka för mer!

Maten är helt fantastisk. Den som är sugen på szechwansk mat behöver definitivt besöka denna restaurang. Vi har varit i staden Chengdu några gånger och denna mat är kompatibel med mat vi åt där borta.

Detta var min favorit kinesiska restaurang i Florida. Vi har alltid åkt dit när vi var i Orlando (vi bor i Tampa). Idag var en stor besvikelse. 

Jag åt den torra wokkycklingen, som är en väldigt kryddig rätt med kyckling och varm paprika. Jag har haft det här förut, och det var utmärkt. Servitrisen sa att det var väldigt kryddigt, och jag sa att jag visste, och gillar det så. 

Vad hon inte berättade för mig var att idag var det också extremt, extremt salt. Alldeles för salt. Mer salt än vanlig sojasås. Mer salt än något du kan föreställa dig. Dessutom, jämfört med tidigare, rätten innehöll inte lotusskidor eller andra grönsaker, serverades inte som en stor imponerande maträtt som tidigare. Dessutom var portionen mycket mindre. 

Allt annat var alldeles för salt också. Den varma och sura soppan var alldeles för sur, det smakade som om det var hälften vinäger. 

Servicen var inte heller särskilt bra. Min skål med soppa kom ut. Sen, någon gång senare, kom min frus middag. Senare kom hennes soppa. Sen kom min middag ännu senare. Detta är inte ett trevligt sätt att ha en måltid, och inte mycket professionell. 

Michelin-listan kanske har stigit dem åt huvudet. Försök att komma åt deras webbplats tog upp en bluff hacka webbplats. Verkligen, inte alls bra. Jag tror inte att vi kommer att åka tillbaka, vilket gör mig väldigt ledsen. Denna måltid skulle vara höjdpunkten på vår resa, och istället dagen var förstörd. Fantastiska, autentiska kryddor och vänlig, professionell service

Från fiskesoppan med inlagd kål till de färska grönsakerna (speciell skål med snöärtips med vitlök och bok Choy med svamp), till Kung pao-kycklingen, var kryddorna utsökta. Hela fisken vi beställde var fantastisk (se bild) men för kryddig varm för mig att äta. Var noga med att berätta för din server hur kryddig du gillar din mat!

Ett av vårt parti sa att hans äggdroppssoppa var den bästa han någonsin har haft. Vår server var mycket hjälpsam, gick över menyn med oss och gav rekommendationer.

Om jag bodde inom 2 timmar efter den här restaurangen skulle jag vara här varje vecka. Så prisvärda för en gourmetmiddag!

Min fru kommer från Chengdu. Så är ägaren. Detta är den verkliga affären. Kanske ännu bättre eftersom det är ett öppet rent kök och du kan lita på kvaliteten på ingredienser som kan vara ett språng av tro när du är i Kina. Jag har aldrig haft Mao Po Dofu så bra i USA, inte ens i NY. Ägaren är en mycket erfaren kock som vet hur laga mat, äta och vad man ska föreslå. Denna restaurang erbjuder troget "traditionell" Sichuan-matlagning. Han öppnar en ny som kommer att bli mer upphöjd och innovativ som vi inte kan vänta med att prova. För alla de, som oss, som skakar nävarna mot himlen och dekryterar bristen på god kinesisk mat i delstaten FL, ja, här är det. Njut av!

Detta är en utmärkt plats att åka om du vill ha upplevelsen av verkliga Sichuan restauranger. Rätter avspeglar regionen mycket bättre än de flesta kinesiska restauranger i området. En ny (Szechuan) restaurang (2018) i Orlando-området. TILL SIST! ! ! ! Fantastiskt ställe. Fantastisk mat, service, meny och inställning. Kommer definitivt tillbaka många gånger. Om du gillar Szechuan mat så kommer du att älska denna plats och om du inte tycker att det är bra så känner du inte till köket. Jag har haft Szechuan över hela världen och deras rätter är på topp. Det enda lilla negativa är platsen. Lite av en enhet och inte det största området men värt det. Restaurangen i sig är super trevlig och modern.

Stannade i för lunch. Hade MaPo tofu. Det var utsökt. Många lager av smak och värme. Menyn ser bra ut.

Vad en bra och annorlunda ta. Färskhet och kvalitet på maten var otroligt. Hela fisken, tripe, lammkoteletter att dö för, tillagd till skillnad från vad du har försökt. Fem av oss delade våra måltider och de var alla krydda till perfektion. Spice nivåer kan vara beredda på din smak. Bra service och bra service. Vi har haft det!

Jag har älskat kinesisk mat sedan jag var ett barn. Jag växte upp i New York, och hade tillgång till fantastisk kinesisk mat. Flyttade till Florida för många år sedan och har haft ok kinesisk mat. Har reste ett ton och har haft kinesisk mat på många platser känd för sin kinesiska mat som San Francisco, Chicago, London etc. Denna plats är överlägset den bästa kinesiska maten jag har haft i mitt liv! Tjänsten var bra men verkligen riktigt långsam. Men maten var så bra jag skulle gärna vänta igen i framtiden! Om du är lokal, lycklig du. Om du inte är och hitta dig själv turen att vara i närheten, gå bara! UTSÖKT! Notera kryddig betyder kryddig! Vi hade dumplings, stekt ris, Dan Dan nudlar, General Taos kyckling, nötkött med broccoli och anka med gröna purjolök. Njut av!
