I took my wife here Friday night for date night. We’ve been here a couple times before, most recently for my daughter’s birthday dinner. My wife started off with a wedge salad and I had the crab dip. We had cocktails from the bar and they were great. She had the pork chops and I had the shrimp and grits for our entrees. The food was delicious, however my grits were lukewarm. We would’ve selected the orange cake for dessert, but unfortunately The Pinery no longer serves it. I really hope that they think about putting it back on the menu (please). The service was excellent and ambience was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

I am saddened to write this review and to give 3/5 stars to The Pinery, one of my top restaurants in Orlando. The first few times I visited some years ago, I had a stellar experience, the atmosphere, the location, the theme, the menu, etc. It’s definitely one of the best places overall I have ever been. Nonetheless, the last time I left with a huge disappointment around food. Shrimp & Grits were very basic, lacking flavor and let’s not talk about the portions… I left hungry! The Clam Pasta was very good, however, both plates for the price is definitely not worth it. Hoping you can take this very honest review into consideration, this is one of my favorite places in Orlando. Besides the food and prices, the service from our server was stellar, he is amazing!

Our meals were delicious, meticulously served, fantastic customer service, even to a large party like ours. Will definitely come back. Brunch menu was incredible, not a place to save money, but you won’t regret visiting this place.

Our waiter Merlin was fantastic. The food was some of the best I have had in my life. And I grew up in Los Angeles where the food scene is real. Excellent execution on everything. Priced appropriately for the quality and dining experience. This is a must visit restaurant if coming to Orlando! We could not finish our plates. Now even though we don’t have room for dessert I will not skip it! Because I know it will be something outstanding…
